Sing for the Health of It provides excellent vocal instruction. My daughter and I have grown so much since we've started with lessons and are having so much fun! D.D. (45) and G.D. (9)
My kids LOVE their music class with Ms. Robin! They look forward to it all week and have learned so much about music in a really fun way! My 7 year old daughter composed and played her own song on the piano and my 5 year old is learning piano so quickly!
Patrice is a delight. Her love of singing and music is inspiring. I felt no pressure to perform or reach a pre-set goal but to travel at my own pace. She took time to get to know me, my voice and musical preferences. I look forward to the lessons and releasing my own music.
I found this studio through a recommendation from CSU when I wanted to take lessons to learn a song for my friend's wedding. I started my lessons with Aimee Woods, and I continued my studies since then. I took lessons previously as an undergraduate student with my university, and the lessons here with Aimee Woods have been just as good, if not better than I have had previously. Aimee is great at adapting lessons to your skill set and your time commitments. I feel that I have really grown under her tutelage and will continue lessons with her as long as I remain in the Fort Collins area. I highly recommend using Magnolia Music Studio as your place to take voice lessons. It is a warm and welcoming environment, perfect for beginner or advanced students. Aimee is wonderful at what she does, I have learned a lot. Not only technique, but also how to take care of my voice. I have expanded my repertoire from typical pieces learned in college and high school, to a wide variety of different pieces that I love to sing.

Music is a very important part of my life and I enjoy sharing what I've learned with others. My name is Zoe and I have taught guitar lessons for six years now. Being that I am new to Fort Collins, I thought that it would be a good idea to put myself out there and try to acquire some new students. If you have always wanted to learn guitar, now is your chance! I can provide a guitar for you to use during lessons. I offer very affordable prices and am willing to negotiate. I have taught many children, so I am patient and go at whatever pace you, as a student, would need.
If you are looking to get quality beginner lessons in voice, guitar, piano or trumpet, you have come to the right place! Andrew Smith, the instructor of 1in2Music, is an upperclassman music education major with experience in every family of instrument as well as a solid music theory background. His laid-back, yet focused style of teaching is sure to get you to your next level of music enjoyment, and his competitive rates offer the most music for the least cash!
Katrina is a great music instructor. She made it possible for me to play the piano again ( after 50 years) and to elevate my singing voice from alto to soprano. I have enjoyed singing in several concerts because of her excellent instruction. Jeanine Puskas Durango Choral Society
I have looked into many styles of music and asked myself what the defining techniques are for a vast majority of them. Blues piano, classical, ragtime, and metal of course are the styles I have chosen to fine tune my personality on the instrument. Screaming is self explanatory, I do not know any other teacher who does it.
Working with Chadley not only improved my technique and repertoire but opened my eyes to a whole new way of singing that eliminates my tendency to push and strain. Thanks to him singing no longer seems like it has to be difficult. His personality and teaching style are both warm and very open to discussions and questions. Could not reccomend a better mentor!:)
I have been teaching for the past six years both private and group lessons as well as in schools as part of a curriculum base. I have a Bachelors degree in classical guitar performance and have been playing for 15 years. I specialize in guitar instruction with an emphasis on individual lesson plans and forming goals for each student based on their learning style and experience. Each student will gain a musical strong foundation and be able to proficiently read music, learn basic music history and theory, and be able to specialize in their own style. Whether it's in classical, electric, bluegrass or more, we will work together to make lessons fun and informative! I also teach beginner piano, voice and mandolin for students interested in learning more about these instruments.
Saying I've loved music my entire life is no exaggeration - at 4 I scrutinized sheet music for "My Heart Will Go On," trying to decipher the relation ship between the black squiggles and the tune I knew. By 5, I stole my older sister's Alfred Piano Primer and had taught myself how to read music. At 9 I was granted admission into my first audition-only ensemble, by 12 I was touring Europe with the Amarillo (Texas) Girls Concert Choir. More recently, I sang a principle role in an opera at the Lefkada (Greece) Music Festival after obtaining a graduate degree in voice performance from Georgia State University in Atlanta. I am so excited to share my knowledge and passion with students of all ages in Northern Colorado! I teach voice of all genres from a classical technique standpoint, and my specialties are classical, musical theater, and jazz. I prefer not to teach students younger than 10, as puberty has such a strong effect on the developing voice, but exceptions may be made if a student has a strong background in music theory. All of my students will receive music theory training, but private tutoring and instruction in music theory alone is also available. I can also teach beginning and intermediate piano, primarily from the Alfred method (but may work with an existing method if requested).
I have a Master's of Music in vocal performance, and more than ten years of performing experience. I offer lessons in a variety of vocal styles, from jazz to classical to rock and pop. I am also comfortable teaching music theory and rudimentary piano skills.
Kate Mathews is wonderful! Offers quality lessons, professionalism, great technical training and positive energy and attitude.
I studied classical styles and currently play funk and jazz music. I can show you how to play whatever you want on piano and voice. Music theory is also a favorite of mine to teach.
