Ron Ferlito is an outstanding voice instructor! He really got me singing within just a matter of a few lessons. I started with absolutely zero prior singing experience or knowledge. I really thought it would be just a waste of time to even try getting voice lessons. I've always thought my singing voice is so incredibly bad, there is no way that an instructor could do anything for me. HOW WRONG I WAS! I was lucky enough to be referred to Ron Ferlito for voice lessons. Ron Ferlito is an amazing voice teacher. He showed me the basics, and he has been showing me how to use my voice musically, just like a musical instrument. Ron Ferlito has a wealth of musical knowledge and experience and he knows how to explain it to a beginner in a way that makes sense and gets results. I highly recommend Ron Ferlito for voice lessons to anyone who is a beginner and curious to know whether they can actually sing. Ron Ferlito will get you singing! Ron Ferlito is also an amazing and gifted piano player and teacher. My wife is taking piano lessons from him and she has gone from zero knowledge of music to playing some simple Christmas songs in just a matter of a few weeks! How do you do it, Ron?! About me: I am a 40-year-old man who has played guitar for 20 years. I have always wanted to learn to sing too, but I never had any success on my own. I told Ron that I want to learn to sing well enough to play/sing at open-mic nights. Before I knew it, Ron had me singing at one of his recitals. What an awesome experience that was! Bottom line: if you want to learn how to sing or play piano, or both, regardless of whether you have some musical background or not, sign up for lessons with Ron Ferlito. He is very reasonably priced. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. Ron Ferlito is also a very friendly guy who is easy to get along with. You never feel embarrassed when you make a mistake around Ron. His attitude is always supportive and encouraging. I just can't say enough good about him because I'm so grateful to Ron Ferlito for helping me to find my true singing voice.

Susan is excellent with my granddaughter's piano lessons. She is patient and encouraging to her, helping her to remain focused. She is clear what she expects of her without being overbearing. Her regular full time job of teaching music at the grade school level is very apparent in her approach.

My 13 year old son is currently taking piano lessons with George. He is both a skilled piano teacher and player. While instructing, George clearly explains new concepts and readily demonstrates new skills. He is encouraging, patient and positive. Most importantly, he is willing to teach piano lessons using the musical genres (i.e., jazz/pop) that my son is interested in learning.

We've been with Hunter's Music Studio for over 7 years and we are very happy! My daughter started with just piano and now enjoys lessons in both piano and voice. Her little sister is looking forward to the day that she is old enough for lessons with Miss Laura, as well! She is very professional, knowledgeable and it is obvious that she loves what she does!

Jimmi is a joy. He is energetic, off-hand, and ready to move constantly. His knowledge of the ukulele, guitar, and piano was impressive and came out in his teaching, making me both trust him and want to know more. Further, his teaching style builds on each other and he is always ready with praise and critique to tell you that you're on the right track and capable of more. I had a lot of fun at my consultation and already feel like I'm better equipped. I can't wait for my first official lesson!

I took Mary's piano class while I was at Saguaro High School. Going into the class, I had no prior experience and simply was interested in learning a little piano. By the end of the first semester, I had completely fallen in love with the piano and had learned a great deal about music in a short amount of time. I was able to take Mary's class for an entire year and it was definitely the high point of my school day. Mary's was able to not only able to teach me the fundamentals of piano, but also to introduce me to many wonders in the piano and music. I still play the piano to this day, and it is all because of Mary's instructing and how she was able to broaden the world of music to me. I owe it all to Mary, and I can guarantee that anyone would love to learn, work, and play with Mary.

I have taken piano lessons for the past 8 years with three different instructors and Jennifer is far and away the best instructor I have had the pleasure of learning from. Her knowledge base and instructional technique make her the best piano teacher in the Phoenix area in my opinion. I feel very lucky to have found her. If you are an adult like me or want your children to start learning piano you cannot go wrong with Jennifer. I give her my highest possible recommendation.

My 8 year old daughter started piano lessons at age 5. I wanted her to enjoy learning and not view it as work. Julie Ann is such a great instructor she was able to read my daughters personality and, in turn, tailor her teaching to my daughters natural pace. She doesn't push or force students to perform -- she engages them and makes them feel confident in their learning. Julie Ann keeps us informed on progress, learning strategies and helps us understand how to help our daughter continue learning during home practice times. I reccommend Scottsdale Studio of Music to students of all ages who are interested in learning an instrument.

Dr. Jeff is a great teacher. We are doing piano lessons for my 6 year old son, and flute for my 9 year old daughter. He even helped me find inexpensive instruments for them. Dr. Jeff is very patient with my incredibly energetic and TALKATIVE kids, refocusing them when they get offtrack during a lesson. They both look forward to their lessons, so I think that says alot about his teaching methods and how much they like him. (I know many adults who tell me they hated their music lessons as kids) I try hard not to have to cancel their lessons, but on the occasion it does happen he has been very accommodating to reschedule if possible. I would recommend Dr. Jeff to anyone young or old, who is interested in learning an instrument.

I went to Bryan for a piano lesson--it was great! He was extremely patient and definitely knows his stuff. He was able to carefully and clearly explain challenging musical ideas to me. He also provided very practical tips that almost immediately improved my piano playing. When teaching, he is able to demonstrate even the most complex of techniques. The lesson was informative and well taught! None of my previous teachers even come close. I'll definitely be back!

I took voice lessons from Lacy because of the need for my job as a music director at church. I am a pianist, so I didn’t have the need for basic music theory but strong understanding of vocal techniques for the purpose of singing without straining my voice, which was the reason I never sang, and also teaching my choir members. Lacy has been very patient and extremely helpful in making me understand the vocal techniques. Less than a year of taking lessons from her without any previous training from anybody else, I pass the audition for the Phoenix Symphony Chorus. I highly recommend Lacy if you want solid and right technique from the get go as well as artistry.
