Suzanne is an excellent instructor who has been very inspiring to me in helping me to develop musically. She motivated my enthusiasm to study and work hard at the piano through my college years. She helped me in finding my creative potential for composing my own pieces. I made the biggest strides in my proficiency at the piano during the years I studied with her. I was especially inspired by her ability to make music accessible and easy to understand. She has skills in music including classical repertoire and technique as well as improvisational skills in jazz and other styles, arranging and composition. I took weekly lessons with Suzanne and she was always dependable and on time. She is the best music instructor I've studied with. She helped cultivate my lifelong love and understanding of music.

I offer piano lessons that fit you! Piano lessons need to fit you, the student. Unfortunately, the vast majority of piano lessons start out with a one-size-fits-all method that sometimes works and sometimes not -- for adult learners, usually not. Instead, I start out with interviewing you to see what your goals are, what you want to learn, and how you learn best. Then I teach with a variety of methods, some traditional, and some are based on several years of teaching in an elementary classroom.

I offer experienced piano lessons. I am holding a doctoral degree, and I am an active performer and educator. I teach from beginners to adults.

Each individual's experience of music is uniquely different. Some prefer to read notes, while others like to 'play by ear'. Along with a solid basic knowledge & skill development, I hope to unleash the creative spirit within and instill a lifetime of love and joy playing the piano.
