We were looking for catering services for our small and intimate wedding during December 2015. Food was a big part of the event, but we also had a limited budget, so we shopped around to find someone that would fit our needs. Pete understood our menu concept right away and was able to work with our budget. He didn't fuzz about small details that we wanted to incorporate and went above and beyond to make them happen. He even provided ideas on how to improve the overall experience, not just the food. We interviewed lots of chefs and catering companies and we couldn't be happier about working with Pete. Our foodie friends and family members praised the food, the presentation was extraordinary and the service was very professional. Pete also provided support for the drinks, bringing with him a great mixologist that crafted creative drinks for the crowd. Finally, the next morning Pete prepared brunch for guests that spent the night at the venue (and ourselves) and even tho some things did not go as planned for him (the professional oven broke down!), he was able to have everything ready flawlessly by the time we woke up. Thank you Pete for taking care of such important part of our event! We are looking forward to working with you again.
Chef Sat came to our home and prepared an incredible dinner for our end of the year office party. We thought a private executive chef would be something very fun to try for our thirty guests. Chef Sat worked with me in advance on the personalized menu and delivered on an amazing dinner experience. Chef Sat was great and the food was divine. All of the guests raved how delicious all of the courses were. Sat made the first event hosted in our new home truly memorable. Thank you very much Chef Sat and Chefs Tyler and Ian. You guys are awesome.
Great food and great experience. The two chefs working our holiday party couldn't have been kinder or more patient. Everyone loved the food, and the boss told me after they left that she would like to bring them back again next year. Thank you for a lovely experience!
Debbie was a pleasure to work with. Not only is she very professional but she is an amazing chef. We ordered the BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken and Polenta cakes for the vegetarians. Everyone commented on good the food was. You have to try the baked beans as well. They were soooo good! When we got there the table cloth was set, the food was in warmers, and she was great about the clean-up as well. I would definitely hire her again for the next party.
A-Plus staff (chef/server and bartender) arrived early and went right to work as we had 175 guests. Bartender quickly organized the bar and made pitchers of signature drinks to get ahead of the coming rush of guests. Hot appetizers were prepared and served to hungry arriving guests. Great service by the A-Plus team. We will use again!
I have worked with many chefs in the past and Stephanie stood out as exceptional not only for the wonderful food she made, but also for her easy going nature and ability to accommodate our many additions requests. She truly went above and beyond and our event was a great success due to her hard work. I am looking forward to working with her in the future and I hughkg recommend her.
Steve of DNL did an Outstanding job at our Wedding. From the on-set Chef Steve was very open to talking with us and taking the time to review what we were looking for and the timeline in which we wanted the Hor Dour eve's to be passed, to when dinner and the cake was to be served. The quality and quantity of food was superb! We had a sit down (plated dinner) and the food came out to our guest timely and most importantly the food was not cold..it was perfect! Overall, I would not hesitate to hire or recommend DNL Catering..They are a 5 Star business! Thank you again Chef Steve - from Ron and Coby
Quiche & Carry (Chef Deborah Moss and her assistants) prepared a tasty feast for my guests. The items were extraordinary! I took a bite of a spring roll to be pleasantly surprised with a flavorful curry marinade on the tofu. The salad and dressing were flavored with mint. The miniature quiches and stuffed mushrooms were especially delicious. There were bite sized fruit tarts, pecan pie, and a gorgeous fruit platter. And so much more! Many of my guests told me that the food was, "Amazing!" Thank you Quiche & Carry for making my event one that I and my guests will never forget.
From set up to finish, our meal was not only attractively displayed, everythingwas delicious. The chef's choice meatballs were the main hit of the afternoon. We will definitely use Passionate Plates again and again.
Grace cooked outstanding food (salmon, prosciutto/melon, eggplant, citrus salad) and provided an all-around amazing experience - customizing the menu to fit our tastes! Thank you so much Grace! I will recommend you to everyone looking for a personal chef/catering!

Daniella Bensimons' food is like music that you can eat. Her food is delectable, delicious and is farm-to-table fresh. I've yet to meet someone eating her food at a party that doesn't like it. 5 star cuisine from one of the best Chefs in the East Bay
Arturo and Martha were excellent from start to finish. They were a pleasure to work with, very helpful in every step of the process, and the food was super delicious! They have a lot of experience and know what they are doing. I'd definitely recommend them.
Kitchen 350 did a fabulous job Catering our company mixer we had over 150 people attending, they were able to provide hors d'oeuvres buffet table along with some delicious past items keeping the guest very happy They also provided bartenders and bar supplies including cocktail tables and glassware it was very easy to plan our event and have all the details organized they provided a very competitive price along with several food options to satisfy Everyone Will for sure refer them to all my friends and hire them again
Ania was fantastic! She was super accommodating in coordinating the menu as we had many dietary restrictions. She brought a server with her so the experience felt very first class having a private chef and a server. The food was absolutely delicious! Ania was on time and when she left it looked like no one had even been in the kitchen! I would definitely recommend hiring Ania for any private dinner party function!
On December 23, 2015 approximately 40 Earlimart Seniors participated in its annual Christmas Dinner. Chef Albert and his sous chef prepared a delicious and nutricious meal. The seniors were very pleased with the meal as many "mmm's" and "this is gooood" were heard from the people seated at the tables. Chef Albert prepared a very tender roastbeef, so tender it melted in your mouth.He also introduced our seniors to eating kale. Rounding out the meal was a crisp green salad with cranberries and walnuts, mashed potatoes and dessert. The chefs were very gracious with the seniors - talking and mingling with them and even taking pictures. Everyone left with a smile on their face and a delicious meal in their tummy! We are looking forward to our next meal with Chef Albert- who is innovative and still provides a very satisfying meal. Kudos Chef !
We had a wonderful time with Chef James. He was so professional and made our dinner experience so memorable. We asked Chef James to let his creative juices flow and surprise us with his recipe (all we asked was that the meals were seasonal and refreshing). He came back with a luau themed meal including: ceviche, apple cabbage salad with ginger sauce, tomato and chard salad, AMAZING tamales, and much, much more. He also brought his own cookware! We hired Zachary to teach us how to make pasta. He suggested 3 different kinds of shapes and fillings. He was punctual to our home and came prepared with all the ingredients. The pasta turned out great and it was a fun experience overall. I would recommend anyone to take lessons with Zachary and/or hire him as a personal chef.
I didn’t take pictures to show you guys but Cheri did an excellent job on my fiancé’s and my dinner for two. Not only did the food taste great but the set up was very nice. We had no hesitation hiring her for our upcoming June 2019 wedding! She will give you quality food for an affordable price. Not to mention she also has other vendors if your looking to have her company cater your wedding. She puts time and detail into her creations. I definitely recommend her.
I hired Chef Dan for a corporate team dinner for 28 colleagues at a private venue in San Francisco. Dan is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is friendly, responsive, thoughtful, creative and detail oriented. Each step of the planning process went off without a hitch (menu selection, wine pairing advice) On the day/evening of our event, prep and service was smooth, and our meal was beautifully presented and delicious. Our team had an amazing time! I highly recommend Mise En Place & Dan!
Jacquie is great! She helped me with cooking and hosting an amazing birthday BBQ, with highlights such as grilled corns, bacon wrapped hot dogs and amazing salads.
