I interviewed 3 personal training studios. No Excuse Fitness was my second interview they have a great facility very private, But what matters more is they are so warm there! I felt so much at home with them. The other place was basically a bootcamp selling them off as personal training nice place not what I wanted. The third place stood me up and never follow up wow not good customer service. If your wanting personal training in a more private setting with great customer service No Excuse fitness is your place by the way their pricing is the best I have seen in Orange County I used to pay double back in Chicago where I used to live.
I have tried several different bootcamps and Bo Francy is the best trainer I have had. Over the last 2 years I have seen my body transform so quickly. He's very motivating and always pushes me to reach my goals. The one thing I love the most is his classes are never repetitive and always keeps it challenging! Highly recommend his bootcamp!
Lauren Allen is a phenomenal fitness coach and such an inspiration to all men and women. I have attended her Saturday bootcamps and not only did I leave with an energetic workout outdoors, but I left feeling wonderful about myself. I loved that she catered her boot camp to meet all levels of athleticism so that we all were able to receive an awesome butt kicking work out at our own pace. I would definitely recommend Lauren Allen!!
I have always worked out, primarily at group classes like Barry's Bootcamp. While I felt in shape, I saw little change in strength and overall fitness. After interviewing with several trainers, I went to Tom looking to see actual results, an improvement in strength and for nutrition advice. I have been working out with Tom since April, and am in the best shape of my life. His workouts are challenging, and personalized to my goals. I have developed more strength, confidence, and overall fitness in 8 months then I had in 3 years in group classes. I think the most valuable part of Tom's training has been the nutrition advice. His meal "plan" (and I hesitate to call it that) is easy to understand and follow, encourages REAL, nourishing food, and most importantly, balance. Unlike my experience with other trainers, I have never felt hungry or restricted, and have never had a better relationship with food. As a bonus, he can also be funny. I highly recommend Tom!
I go to Kate's Mommy and Me Bootcamp at 9 AM and love it!! I have never enjoyed, or stuck with, a workout program long term before finding this class and I've been going consistently for about a year and a half now. I love it!! I lost 17 lbs and 17 inches in one year and once I got pregnant again have managed to only gain 20 lbs thanks to keeping up with her workout program. Highly recommended! Kate is great!!
Bootcamp training 4 week session
I really like having Elle as my trainer. I have been attending her outdoor bootcamp class for the last 5 years, 2 - 3 days per week. She always finds different ways to work out our entire bodies. You'd think after 5 years, it would get boring, but Elle always comes up with something fresh. She is always providing varying levels for those of us that need lower impact or have injuries to look out for. The positive effects that I have found are that I dont get tired as easily, I havent been getting as many headaches, I feel like exercising more often, Im way more flexible, and Im about 20 pounds lighter. I recommend Elle for all levels. She's the best!
Love FitXcursions. Dara is the best PT I have ever trained with. She definitely knows what she is doing, she motivates and she is super fun. She also has the best bootcamps! I highly recommend Dara and FitXcursions.
I can't say enough about how great Nez & Robert are. When I started training with Nez, I considered myself to be pretty fit & very active already. I had already tried different kinds of workouts: bootcamp/circuit training, running, HIIT, boxing, etc. But, not lifting. I was a little intimidated at first because I joined FSU without knowing anyone, but Nez & the rest of the group really made me feel comfortable. My lifting journey began with surprises, of course. I lifted heavier than I thought I could for some lifts (lower body) & was weaker when it came to other ones (upper body), & worked out muscles I never knew existed. Nez pushed me every day for months & took me further than I ever thought I could. A lot of my body's overall transformation came from lifting & Nez's guidance. After completing three programs, I transitioned over to Robert's Olympic weightlifting program. This program continues to challenge me every day because it requires so much patience & technique. Robert is the best coach for this. He's knowledgeable & he has been nothing but supportive and patient throughout this process. My upper body's transformation has been amazing thanks to Robert. Lastly, Nez & Robert are hilarious to workout with. Count on cracking a lot of jokes while you workout (abs)!
I have been working out with JJ about 7 months. When I started, I hadn't worked out in about 10 years and had the gained the weight to prove it. I attended his bootcamp class in North Park and I Loved It! It wasn't easy at first, and man was I sore for the first couple of weeks. BUT JJ was always focused on helping me succeed while keeping it fun and interesting. 7 months later and I have lost over 35 pounds and I have had to go buy some new clothes. I can bound up the stairs now without dying at the top. I still have a way to go to reach my goals, but i am confident that I can get there with JJ's help.

Working out with Len has been a great experience. When I stopped taking bootcamp classes, I was looking for a personal trainer who would still push me both physically and mentally like you might get in a group fitness setting. An added bonus is Len’s knowledge of muscles and joints. Having been in a terrible car accident that left me paralyzed for 6 weeks when I was in my 20s, I still have residual pain and severe arthritis all over. Len notices any misalignment and corrects right away. He is also very knowledgeable about being able to locate where the source of the pain is and work the muscles and joints to help relieve any pain and tension. If you are looking for a personal trainer who can push you to be stronger but also help you heal/recover using an osteopathic method, look no further and schedule a consultation with Len!
Jo’s bootcamps are amazing! I love that you start your day at 7am OUTSIDE getting a work out in. Most bootcamps I go to I leave me feeling like I wish it was more challenging. With Jo’s approach she has me winded after each work out. I love that she throws in sprints and hills to keep our heart rate up between exercises. Plus you can’t beat donation base. I highly recommend anyone looking for some motivation or just wants a effective workout to start there day. Jo’s the best!
Marcia is awesome! I trained with for my first 5k and was great! She pushes me out of my comfort zone, gives me nutrition tips, she knows my body limits and respects that. Now I'm doing her bootcamp classes at the park. It's hard work, high intensity exercises, a big challenge but I love it so much. We lose an average of 800 calories per class. During the class I want to "kill" her but at the end I feel so good and relaxed. Love her and the beautiful job she does :) I highly recommend her!
I worked out with Steven both in LA and OC. He knows in gym and outdoor facilities to keep you refreshed and challenged. Good for cardio and I set my bench press record under him.
