I've met with a number of personal trainers, and it's exceedingly difficult to find someone that's friendly, knowledgeable, and organized. George is all of those things. I meet with him twice a week. He pushes me hard every single time. I highly recommend working with George.

Anthony is awesome. He has great communication, designs tough yet effective workouts, always has a positive, upbeat attitude (even when under the weather!), and he is incredibly supportive! The gym is unique in that it doesn't feel like one of those massive 24 Hour Fitness behemoths that lack in the community department. God's Gym is very community oriented. Everyone supports one another, and it is really nice to see familiar faces every time I'm in the gym. The trainers want you to succeed and are not just in it to collect money. They legitimately want you to reach your goals, and that gets me through the grueling workouts 3 times/week. The equipment might seem obsolete at first glance. However, this is the kind of gym I imagine hardcore, loyal bodybuilding athletes go to train. Rocky Balboa would train at this gym whereas the scary Russian dude would be at Equinox (Rocky wins the fight in the end!). If you are looking for a no-frills, authentic gym experience, God's Gym is definitely a great place to go. I have only been training at this gym, but I look forward to sticking with it in the long run. Plus, they offer multiple training packages for all types, and it's very affordable. I'll see you at God's Gym!
I've been working with Evan and his team for quite some time now and would definitely recommend them to anyone. I've worked with several trainers in the past at other gyms or studios but have to say this has been the best experience. It's obvious all of the trainers here know fitness and teh facility is top notch. It's a very welcome and low key environment. I've seen several people in their 80s train here which has been great to see! It's never too crowded and only personal training. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing instruction on weight training or looking to get into shape.
Gerard is the trainer of trainers, he has stamina, strength, and balance in training me. I am older, and I need to be watched for my strengths and weaknesses. He knows nutrition as well, and combines the training with that skill, which makes him exceptional. He's tough and clear about body building.

This is the perfect place to come to get fit. My usual MO is sign up for fitness classes or trainers, get pushed really hard and give up in a week or two. Youniquely has a different style from other trainers, bootcamps and fitness classes I have taken. The training is truly uniquely fitted to your needs and accelerated or decelerated based on how you are doing and whether you want to or not. This is the difference between buying a dress that is mass-produced vs getting a custom fitted gown!!
I've worked with other personal trainers in the past. But my experience with John exceeded my expectations for several reasons. Upon meeting him I felt quickly at ease. He was able to quickly assess my physical ability and pushed me just enough past my comfort level. I had an amazing workout! He was very encouraging and positive towards me. It was very obvious he was extremely knowledgeable not only in training but he also came up with a detailed strategy to help me reach my fat loss goals especially with my nutrition. I feel very confidant in his ability to help me. I also know he will keep me free from injury. He exceeded my expectations. It was the best experience I've had with any personal trainer.

Xavier is one of the most hardworking and dedicated trainers I know. I needed help with my Army Physical Fitness Test training, particularly with my two-mile because I had a huge mental block and never broke that barrier or dropped my time no matter what I did. I found out that Xavier had done extensive research prior, and there were many days we went over one hour but he did not charge extra. He is someone I would describe as not after your money but truly cares about helping you reach your goals, no matter the cost and extra burden on him. The special thing about Xavier is really what you are getting in his packages-- it's not just physical training, but a package that addresses all three things: physical, emotional, and mental. With my mental block, he took me to speak to his wife, who was professionally certified. All at no extra cost to me-- it was all on his dime. Why? Because like I said, he cares about the person and his/her goal rather than just making money. When I was injured or on the brink of getting injured, he was able to help me with physical therapy as well (he's a massage therapist) so I didn't even have to go to a doctor for that. (He really knows what he's doing with physical therapy and massage; I actually feel that it's his specialty). It obviously worked because I was somehow able to avoid all those close calls, recover from a strained shoulder and strained hip, and prevent further injury ALL while intensely training at the same time nonstop for the twenty days I had left. We definitely went over just one hour everyday but Xavier never said anything. I know what I was able to achieve earlier, and I had reached my wits' end with making any improvement. Today, saying I reached my goal is an understatement. I completely smashed my goal and broke a mental and physical barrier forever along the way-- by almost 2 minutes. Something I couldn't break by even a minute for NINETEEN years by myself. But only twenty days with Xavier and suddenly I broke it by not just one but TWO minutes in an already short two-mile run? AND somehow got over my greatest fear at the same time? That's what I call a miracle. Got above and beyond for everything else. At times I know I gave Xavier a hard time because sometimes I wouldn't listen to him or argued with him about what was right. But it doesn't matter who was right or wrong at that time because all that matters to me is the end result-- and I succeeded. Thank you Xavier!
Finding a personal trainer is easy, but finding one that you get along with is difficult. I have had hired different personal trainers in the past, but I never clicked with them. My past personal trainers were dry and not present. As for Harold, he gives his full attention on your form and execution. He even informs you which muscles you're suppose to be using, so you are aware that you're using the right muscles. He's very knowledgeable of nutrition and body mechanics. I definitely enjoy working with him!
Let me first start off saying that Grace is the best thing that has happened for me and my weight loss journey thus far, she is not just a trainer that tells you what to do she does it with you and pushes you to keep going, she isn't only concerned with training me but she is also concerned with my health and well being and my overall lifestyle change
Kenny is an excellent trainer. He takes the time to show you exactly what to do and ensures that your form is correct. He is patient and tailors the workout to accommodate my physical challenges to still get the desired results. He's a motivator and encourages you to push through......."You can do it; let's beast it out". He'll even get down and do it with you. I leave feeling great each time, even after what initially, seemed like a difficult workout.
Gretchen is kind, knowledgeable, and understanding. She knows how to motivate her clients in a positive and warm way. I have truly enjoyed working with her. She took my needs and abilities into consideration and plans workouts based on those factors. I would recommend her highly and without reservation to anyone looking for a trainer.
I've been training with David for about 5 weeks now. I decided to train with David initially because I felt like he listened to my goals and he sounded like he had a lot of experience. He was the first person I interviewed but I remembered that he was the most humble and down to earth, and I had a feeling I'd be comfortable training with him. All the men trainers I interviewed talked to me like I had two brain cells, and I found David to be the most up front and honest. My goal is to lose weight, tone up and to strengthen my left shoulder for outrigger canoeing. So far, I am noticing a huge difference with my left shoulder. Its stronger and it no longer bothers me when I go paddling or perform certain exercises. Its still not 100% in strength but has gotten a lot stronger through training. All our sessions are pretty different and varied. I never know what to expect from David, which is good. I get bored at the gym because I love the outdoors, but David keeps it interesting. David pushes me when he thinks I'm slacking off, which often times, he is mostly right about.... I need someone to push me or I will slack off, which is probably a good reason to hire a trainer. David goes out of his way to make it work for his clients. He genuinely cares about his clients and loves what he does. I can tell by the excellent service he provides for his clients. My personal belief is that its important to practice what you preach, and David is a trainer that is in great physical condition, and knows what he is doing. I personally did not want to hire a personal trainer at the local gym that looked like they needed training themselves... I highly recommend David as a personal trainer. Due to his diverse background, I believe he would be a great fit for many.
Cassie is an amazing personal trainer - she will help you reach goals that you never thought were possible. She also has a strong focus on nutrition which is always at least 80% of the goal. Cassie helped me lose 25+lbs and I've been able to maintain it. Train with her and listen to her, and follow everything she says down to every detail, and you'll get results - but remember you have to put in the actual work!
Jason has been a god sent! He's very punctual, professional, and cares about your goals. I've hired past personal trainers on thumbtack and have been disappointed after a month. I have been working out with Jason for the past few months and it's been the perfect match!

My trainer gave me the best possible experience personal training could ever offer . Time after time he continued to impress me with his exercises that he helped walk me through. i value the extra time and effort he put into focusing my workouts and helping me as I asked questions and helped me get it right . His personality and inspiring attitude is what something I will never forget . Finally, I loved how he listened to me as I explained what was in my mind , from worries and doubts to questions , and he always took the time to answer them to help me get better. Overall this personal training experience with my trainer Gabe is something that I’ll never forget .

Matt is working with me twice a week on strength training especially for my core. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and very pleasant to work with. He is patient yet on each machine or exercise he frequently asks me if I can go up on weight, stretch further, etc. He creates a varied routine for me & I enjoy the sessions. Matt is always looking out for my safety & guides me as to proper form. He always takes into account my specific weak areas. He is flexible w scheduling. I've worked with three very good trainers however, I feel I've made the most progress toward my goals with Matt. I look forward to my sessions with Matt & my mind/body feel good when I go home. I know I'm in good, professional, experienced hands.
