I originally requested help with the wedding design aspects only, as our venue provided a "day of". LV was the first coordinator I met through Thumbtack and I knew then that I wanted to hire her. She was able to vividly capture my vision. After thoroughly going through everything needed for planning and the big day with LV, I decided to hire LV for the months leading up to the big day as well as a Day Of Coordinator. The site coordinator was more of a "venue manager" whereas LV was beside me the whole day. I recommend her services.
Andrea was a joy to work with for our wedding. We wanted to keep it intimate and decided to do it on the fly, so we needed help at the very last minute and she was up for the challenge! She came up with all the special touches that I didn't even know I wanted (until I saw them) and I was blown away by how thorough she was. She made me feel like a really special bride even though my wedding was non-traditional! I also attended a large-scale charity event organized by Events by Abel last summer. I'd recommend her for both small, intimate weddings and bigger celebrations -- she's attentive, thoughtful, easy to work with, and all around fun! Diamant does amazing work. She can make any wedding come to life with her amazing arrangements. She is very talented and I have had the pleasure of working with her on several weddings with my brides. Diamant can do anything from Hawaiian floral to extravagant garland and floral displays. Her rates are very fair and she is very detailed and maticulous with her floral creations. Diamant is very easy to work with and has some of the best arrangements I have seen in the wedding industry. She is definitely one of my go to florists as a wedding coordinator. Brides absolutely love her work. Thank you for all that you do.
Amazing!!!! I hired LaToya Creations to help with my holiday decor and Christmas scheme and more than thrilled with the outcome. She was attentive to what I wanted but also gave some much needed guidance on what direction to go to take things over the top (I love over the top lol). Any event, holiday, birthday or occassion you have I would highly recommend her over and over again. She is fantastic!
Her food is delicious of gourmet selections and creativity of accents in decor are on point for any occassion.

From the moment I met her, I knew she is someone who strives to perfection. I am myself very detailed oriented and I recognized alike-souls :). She went above and beyond to make sure everything would go smooth, she is very detailed oriented, very fast, and on top of everything. She is also very easy to get along with, flexible, kind, great personality. Being new in town, and not having a huge support system here, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed about the whole wedding planning, and having her onboard was magical, she was an angel! My experience with Moments Remembered Events was nothing short of phenomenal. With top event planner Lykai's expertise, creative eye, and experience my events were made special to say the least. Lykai was at my every call to put my mind at ease when planning not only my wedding but bridal and baby shower! Three very special once in a lifetime milestones. Her professionalism is unmatchable, Lykai makes herself available even in her own personal time and goes the extra ten miles to ensure not only satisfaction but pure gratification. The events she planned were my firsts so she listened and led me in the right direction to make it my own. With her knowledge of outside vendors she was able to make everything come to life on time and budget. Hey style and creativity bring your dreams to life, whether contemporary or timeless classic. My bestfriend lives in Texas and I live in LA and she needed me to help plan her wedding. When I brought in Alexis, everything went so much smoother and the stress was taken away from me! Well organized, sweet, ON TIME... so many great words come to mind to describe this service. She even brought complementary water to the outside wedding, it was great.
Charlie Walkrich was the DJ at my wedding in August, and he was *excellent*! My husband and I wanted some music that is outside the norm for typical weddings (i.e. hard rock). Charlie was able to blend in our favorites while still pleasing the entire crowd. He really took our musical tastes into account. We had asked for an extremely out-of-the ordinary song to be introduced to, and even though he didn't have it in his musical collection, he was able to get it for the wedding. We also had a few songs on our "don't play" list, and he stood firm on not playing them even with many requests (and even with a proposed $20 bribe from my sister!!). We had many compliments on how great the DJ was, and how well the music fit the tastes and personalities of me and my husband. Thank you, Charlie!!!
Kelsey was one of our wedding coordinators, and she was a hard worker. She responded to all of our phone calls, emails, texts in a timely manner, and swiftly addressed all the issues that arose during the planning process. Kelsey truly does care about her brides and grooms. She will stand by you to make sure that your best interests are protected, especially when communicating with vendors on your behalf. Dealing with vendors is half the battle, and can either make or break your budget. Design details make up the other half, and can consume all your free time. Kelsey and our event planning service made our wedding planning painless. The final outcome, our wedding, was absolutely gorgeous. Our guests were blown away by our venue, ceremony, and reception. Without them, our wedding would have been a disaster because both my husband and I are extremely busy people who barely have time to sleep, let alone plan a wedding!

Vanessa was an absolute pleasure to work with! I hired her to help me coordinator everything leading up to our wedding day. Her attention to detail was phenomenal and served as a wonderful second pair of eyes in reading over all the contracts from vendors! I couldn't believe how many details and questions there was but she was there to answer and ask all of them. It was really great that once the wedding date was approaching she started answering emails from my vendors because she already had the answers which saved us a great time of time! She really knew her way about event planning and it was so comfortable for me to talk to her about changes or thoughts and she is very flexible with direction if you change your mind. Vanessa responds when she sees your email and will let you know if she saw your email but didn't have time to answer. I loved how well she communicated with me. She texts right away and she is very thorough with her email responses. She is adaptable in learning how to efficiently use technology to her advantage. I opted to use GoogleDrive to share documents back and forth. Until she met me, she didn't know how to use and now she is an expert! I cannot imagine not having this wedding without all of Vanessa's hard work! She deserves all the credit.
Kylee planned a party for my boyfriends birthday and it turned out very well. Throughout the entire process she was very helpful. She listened to all of my needs and made sure they were met. I plan on using her for my wedding next year. She's wonderful!
Melinda did a wonderful job with my wedding. I am a pretty laid back bride who wasn't sure what I wanted. Melinda was an excellent advocate and thought of things that I wouldn't have in a million years. She is thorough, professional, and organized. My wedding went off without a hitch. In the busy wedding planning craziness, it is easy to get caught up in the cost of everything and to try to do it all yourself. Trust me, it's not worth it. Hiring Melinda was the best choice I made with my wedding.
I have to start off by saying that Patricia is a very nice and sweet lady. That's one of things I really loved about her. She takes her job very serious and gets the job done! I called her last minute and she still made sure my event (Baby Shower) was very nice and BEAUTIFUL!! I got my moneys worth and everyone loved the designs which made me feel even better. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with decorating any event.
