I've been training with Jessica and am so pleased I can count on her to show up and work my butt off. We workout outside, but she was also able to come up with a good workout to do in my apartment on a rainy day. I'm so happy to have her as a trainer.
Anthony is absolutely awesome and so is the owner Gary. I am very confident that I will reach my weight loss goals here at God's Gym. Anthony took the time to explain every piece of equipment, he demonstrated exactly how I was to do it and what muscle group it was working. He stayed with me with me the whole time and gave me his complete attention. The gym setting is small and intimate and very clean. It has The old school feeling to it. I love that. I recommend God's Gym to anyone who's looking for personal training with an extra special attention.

It has been one month and I am pleased with how it is going. I am a true beginner when it comes to training. I am currently going 3 times per week. I really like that Gerard keeps my interest by changing things up, it never gets boring. I really appreciate how he listens to what I am saying. He remembers if something bothered me with pain or discomfort and adjusts my workouts accordingly. He is also mindful to avoid aggravating old injuries. I know I am a challenging client but we seem to be working it out and finding our way around my many issues. One of the big reasons I chose Gerard was location and my time limitations for my workouts. I have a very odd schedule and Gerard tries his best to accommodate me.
Aaron is awesome personal trainer. His session is not only assist training, but also eating habits, way of stretch and so on. These are very helpful for me. Usually, session with him in a outside park. It is a very excited and fun. If you are finding personal trainer, I will strongly recommend Aaron!
I have hired at least a dozen CPR trainers in my years running preschools, social service agencies, residential programs, etc. and Josh/ CPR Education is the best and immensely well priced. Josh was professional, knowledgeable, warm, funny, clear and made the training reflective of our agency's work. I received great feedback from all staff (which is a rare feat for a mandatory 5 hour training). I have really enjoyed working with Jackie and her team. Their training method is challenging and fun, and an hour session with them flies by. I am used to doing relatively strenuous weight lifting, cardio, and ballet, and I get a great workout on their program. It also works well for pre-natal, still going strong at 36 weeks!
I've worked with other personal trainers in the past. But my experience with John exceeded my expectations for several reasons. Upon meeting him I felt quickly at ease. He was able to quickly assess my physical ability and pushed me just enough past my comfort level. I had an amazing workout! He was very encouraging and positive towards me. It was very obvious he was extremely knowledgeable not only in training but he also came up with a detailed strategy to help me reach my fat loss goals especially with my nutrition. I feel very confidant in his ability to help me. I also know he will keep me free from injury. He exceeded my expectations. It was the best experience I've had with any personal trainer.
I have had 2 sessions so far and I have to say that I am thrilled with Xavier's knowledge, attention to detail, and professionalism. I could tell by talking with him during our consult that he not only knew a great deal about what he does but he also enjoys what he does even more. It can be hard to find someone that truly values the work they do for people. I feel so comfortable working with him and as a woman, especially a self conscious overweight woman, this is a big deal. I have gotten great workouts and homework from Xavier and he really does pay special attention to how your body works and tailors the workouts to challenge you but not leave you pouring sweat and ready to die. I have learned that that is not necessarily the way to go about it, especially for a body that has been out of commission for a while. I am already seeing results in my posture, my mindset, my eating/hydration habits, and of course my weight/inches. Xavier is definitely a solid choice for someone who wants to take their health and fitness seriously without getting scared off in the first session. If anything, your first sessions should be like mine was with Xavier, which is to say that it was challenging but incredibly encouraging! I really look forward to continuing my training with Xavier as I go on this journey to a stronger healthier body.
Aria is an amazing coach. I am an Adult beginner. I’ve been around water , but never learned how to swim and very uncomfortable inside water. Its been now 3 lessons and I am already getting comfortable and don't panic as much as first time. Aria has been a great help. She is very creative and teaching me patiently.She answers all my silly questions and also always on time for the class. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to hire Personal Instructor for the swim lessons.
Harold was my personal trainer and he is awesome to work with. He cares about his clients and very thorough with the training. He cares about my health and it's really easy to work with him on my meal plan, so I can reach my goals. He's one of those trainer that will push you, but will know your limits. From the very beginning, he was so supportive and friendly. Harold is a very knowledgeable coach and made sure I was comfortable throughout the workout and training session, which I really appreciated.
Let me first start off saying that Grace is the best thing that has happened for me and my weight loss journey thus far, she is not just a trainer that tells you what to do she does it with you and pushes you to keep going, she isn't only concerned with training me but she is also concerned with my health and well being and my overall lifestyle change
Kenny has played a vital role in me sustaining a healthy lifestyle. He takes the time to assess the individualized needs of each client and gives in the moment feedback to achieve optimal results. I've been training with David for about 5 weeks now. I decided to train with David initially because I felt like he listened to my goals and he sounded like he had a lot of experience. He was the first person I interviewed but I remembered that he was the most humble and down to earth, and I had a feeling I'd be comfortable training with him. All the men trainers I interviewed talked to me like I had two brain cells, and I found David to be the most up front and honest. My goal is to lose weight, tone up and to strengthen my left shoulder for outrigger canoeing. So far, I am noticing a huge difference with my left shoulder. Its stronger and it no longer bothers me when I go paddling or perform certain exercises. Its still not 100% in strength but has gotten a lot stronger through training. All our sessions are pretty different and varied. I never know what to expect from David, which is good. I get bored at the gym because I love the outdoors, but David keeps it interesting. David pushes me when he thinks I'm slacking off, which often times, he is mostly right about.... I need someone to push me or I will slack off, which is probably a good reason to hire a trainer. David goes out of his way to make it work for his clients. He genuinely cares about his clients and loves what he does. I can tell by the excellent service he provides for his clients. My personal belief is that its important to practice what you preach, and David is a trainer that is in great physical condition, and knows what he is doing. I personally did not want to hire a personal trainer at the local gym that looked like they needed training themselves... I highly recommend David as a personal trainer. Due to his diverse background, I believe he would be a great fit for many.
I trained and took High Intensity Interval Training with Cassie for over three years and she is, simply put, amazing. She motivates you to push yourself but is careful not to let you overdo anything so that you put yourself at risk for injury. She provides excellent training and nutritional advice as well. Cassie is the best!!
I have worked with Jason for several years, he is very professional and personable as well. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding fitness and strives for perfection while improving the overall health of his clients, Jason's down to earth approach is inviting and subtle which allows for a productive environment for physical training, only matched by his aggressiveness at taking on exercises, I thoroughly enjoy working with Jason.
