From the moment she answered my request for a personal trainer, I knew this was my girl. I was really excited to work with her because she just seemed to get me and understand all the changes my body has gone through as a mom. I love the fact that she downloads me with information as to why and how things work the way they do. The studio never has more than a few people at a time training with other trainers and it's super clean. Most times there's no one else but her and I. It's not like a packed sweaty gym with people staring. Becky pushes me to my extremes and I've never worked so hard in my life...but I want it that bad! She's motivating, she checks in on me every few days to keep me accountable, she's informative...and she allows children. I bring my 5 month old daughter with me to training sessions and she watches and cheers me on. I've already lost 5 lbs just following her meal plans and working out 5 days a week. And I've only been seeing her for 2 weeks. I train with her 2 days a week and go to the gym 3-4 times a week. If you're ready to change your lifestyle and need some real help doing so, this is your girl. This is my first time hiring a personal trainer and I just got sooooo lucky. Thanks Becky! Maddison is an excellent trainer. I've participated in small classes and one on one training with her. She takes the time to understand your personal fitness goals and tailor workouts to help you get there. Not only did I lose weight and gain muscle; I also gained confidence. She is incredibly motivating, while also relaying how she cares about your success.
Bennett does a great job organizing 1:1 training or group training. I have participated in his group training sessions several times. He incorporates strength training with weights. He takes a personal interest in each individual's success and strives to tailor the workout for the good of the whole. I recommend his workouts. He provides an effective and encouraging workout.
Lorenzo helped me get started on a plan to get back in shape after my 3rd child. At the time I was feeling defeated, had a lot of weight to lose and needed help knowing where to begin, but he was so encouraging and gave me both hope & structured, simple plan. I followed his plan that emphasized both strength & circuit training for the next 4 months, becoming the strongest I have ever been. I have medical issues with my neck which limit certain exercises. Nic's knowledge and personal training allowed me to continue training because he was able to adapt various exercises to accommodate any medical issues I encountered. Nic will help you workout hard but safely and will not intimidate you but definitely motivate you!
Mauricio trains me 3 times a week. In about 1 month of training I have seen my strength and stamina improve significantly. I have also lost about 4 pounds out of my targeted 20 pounds. Mauricio challenges me without making me feel intimidated. He shows great commitment by himself waking up at 4:30 or so to start my training at 5:50am. He is also looking to get variations in my training and is thinking ahead each time. I will highly recommend hiring him. My wife just hired him for 2 sessions per week. Greg has been a great trainer. I am a 65y/o recovering 'couch potato' for several years after bilateral knee joint replacements. I needed basic strength training , exercise for balance and stability. Greg has worked with me to establish an individualized training sequence that is producing results! He is positive, encouraging, always on time , flexible and clear in his training cues. I'm a 47yo obese housewife. In my younger years I was fit and strong without even trying. As the years passed I got so big and out of shape I lost hope. I began working with Lance almost three months ago, and although I have a long way to go, in just the past couple of months I have gained so much strength and endurance, I actually feel hopeful and good about my efforts. I especially appreciate the texts for motivation and reminders about our appointments. He is encouraging without being a drill sergeant, but still pushes me to do a little more or work just a little harder. He's respectful without condescension, and I really like (did I say "I like" referencing exercise?) the core workouts opposed to just doing reps on the gym machines.

He also measure their client's strengths and weaknesses with fitness assessments. These fitness assessments may also be performed before and after an exercise program to measure their client's improvements in physical fitness. He may also educate his clients in many other aspects of wellness besides exercise including general health and nutrition guidelines.
I started with Sam earlier this year and am thrilled with my progress! He is very encouraging and challeges you appropriately. I like the way he can break down obstacles so I can work on smaller goals in order to overcome the obstacle. When I started with Sam I had not had any prior obstacle training. In just 7 weeks he taught me to climb the rope, get across the monkey bars, aim for the spear throw and conquer the 8' wall on my own. We're currently working on the multi-rig and Z wall. At least once a week we also work with a mace to work on grip strength as well as upper and lower body fitness. He absolutely loves being an SGX coach and that excitement is contagious. I'm confident that whatever your fitness level and whatever your goals Sam can help you acheive them (as he will continue to help me achieve mine!)
Vincent has been my trainer for a year and a half. He is committed and reliable! Under Vincent's training, I have lost weight, gain strength, and become more confident in my body. In addition, Vincent holds me accountable for counting calories and eating healthy. All of our sessions are tracked, individualized, and built on from the previous work out. He has brought out the best in me!
Sherwin provides the necessary encouragement for me to workout each week and improve my strength and endurance. We had EKG Fitness (Ed) work with our 13-year old son Mason. Mason is very active and has been playing football and baseball since third grade. About one year before we found Ed, Mason had developed a bad habit of bobbling his head when he was running. This clearly slowed down his running. Mason was very becoming very frustrated with this lack of speed but direction from us (his parents) and his coaches was not helping. When I asked Ed if he could work with Mason, I was specific that this one area I would like them to work. However, more importantly, I asked Ed to speak to Mason about Masons goals. What did Mason want to improve for himself. Ed created such a great rapport with Mason, they really worked well together. Ed focused on some strength training and running drills. He taught Mason that running isnt all about the act of running. He taught him about building up his muscles and increasing his endurance. Mason would explain to me after a number of their workouts that running fast is a combination of having strong legs, and strong core and being able to pace yourself. While this may seem like knowledge everyone has, up until now only his parents were giving him this information. Now he was getting it from an expert and it sunk in. It made sense to him. It was awesome! More than knowledge and increasing his running skills & speed Ed gave our son confidence. He broke his bad running habits and became faster. His coaches noticed a difference and complimented him on his drive to improve himself. He tried out for different positions in football that he never would have, and learned he loved playing those positions. Would I recommend EKG Fitness to work with one on one, and with youth? Absolutely! He takes the time to listen to your goals. He gives you the tools (knowledge) you need to achieve those goals without making you feel like should know these things already. He makes working out fun and something to look forward to.
I was looking for a trainer after a ruptured rotator cuff and a course of treatment for that. Michael worked on my shoulder wit his muscle reactivation training. The first few weeks were amazing I went from constant pain to occasional pain when I jerked my shoulder around. Now we're starting on getting back in shape. I highly recommend him.
I had the pleasure of working with Cade and Becky for about a year and I had a wonderful experience. Cade worked at my pace and brought a great deal of excitement and positive energy. I have worked out with Corey Rendon for 2 years. He is extremely knowledgeable on strength training and conditioning, creative in keeping the workouts interesting, and motivating so I want to do my best. He knows nutrition and can help develop healthy eating habits. I started working out because I wanted to scuba dive. Within 4 months I became certified while on vacation. I love being strong and in shape. In March, I sold my cruiser bike and bought a 21-speed road bike. I rode it in the 2-day CA Classic and finished the 35-mile bike ride and 5K run/walk with ease. I lost one pound a week for a total of 50 pounds and have maintained my weight. Corey takes people from whatever condition people are in and keeps challenging them to get in better shape.
