Valet parking, security, and clean up crew for wedding at private estate in Beverly Hills on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Eddy personally handled my wedding needs with the utmost care and professionalism. He arrived the day before while the other vendors were setting up to inspect the estate, and also was present both during the Saturday wedding as well as Sunday clean up. I greatly appreciate his firm being able to provide/handle all my service needs. The valets promptly and courteously parked all my guests vehicles while serving as the front line in guarding against tourists from entering the estate. All the valets had uniforms on as well as the security guards arrived in a black suits with ties. Every guard did their job while courteously addressing all my guests. Finally, the clean up thoroughly cleaned the estate the next day with no damage. Eddy and his crew did everything they were supposed to do, and did so professionally, courteously, and promptly. Incidentally, one of my wedding guests used Eddy's service for his Malibu wedding in 2014, and was equally satisfied. The host/owner of the estate also enjoyed Eddy's service, and though I have not followed up, indicated he would use Eddy. Lastly, Eddy is a retired policeman. What this potentially means is that he has a way to chat up other police officers in case you need help managing police when you party or event may run a tad long into the evening or is too loud ;-)
Radish and Rose catered our January, 2018 wedding. Our reception venue (The Loft on Pine) only allowed specific catering companies, to which Radish and Rose was one of the six options. We contacted them a bit late in the process because we had heard that they were on the pricier side and were afraid that we would not be able to afford their higher costs. Alley, our Event Designer was great. She listened to our wants and needs, and was able to help us come up with a menu that was perfectly within our budget. We explained that we didn't want the traditional wedding fare (chicken, beef, or fish), instead we wanted something more casual. We opted for a slider and macaroni-and-cheese station with jarred salads. The food was incredible and we received a ton of compliments, especially on the taste of the macaroni and cheese and the quality of cooking for the sliders - they were delicious The serving staff was fabulous. As a bride, I was catered to all night. They had one of the two appetizers ready for us as we walked in the door of the reception venue. When we asked for the second, someone was back within 5 minutes with it. They took our order for our food stations and brought several plates so we could try all of what we ordered. They also brought fresh plates about half-way through the reception without asking since we were drawn away from the table and our food had gotten cold. One of our fabulous servers even brought me a cup of water as I danced on the dance floor. I would definitely book Radish and Rose again they made my planning easy.
Jessica and Dustin are AMAZING, hands down the best wedding planners we could have hired for our wedding and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them. These two truly, truly love what they do, and the fact that they both went through planning their own wedding together speaks millions to their work chemistry. All of my friends, family, and other vendors who interacted with Jessica and Dustin had the same experience - they are wise, quick on their feet, detail oriented, and kind while still keeping everyone in line when needed. By the end of the night, we felt like Jessica was a part of our family. My biggest regret of the wedding was not hiring Jessica and Dustin earlier on in the planning. We hired 3LB as day of coordinators, but it is sooo worth having Jessica and Dustin around to help make decisions throughout the process. They are SO skilled at what they do, will take on any challenge you throw at them, and from the moment I spoke to Jessica, I knew I could trust her with everything. I am so beyond grateful to have found Jessica and Dustin, and am looking forward to the next family member to get married so I can work with them again!
In the past five years my husband and I have attended several fantastic entertainment and charitable fundraisers produce by The Mark Kearney Group. Our memorable highlights include The Jewel's of France in Beverly Hills for Juvenile Arthritis hosted by Teri Hatcher , MKG Emmy suite for breast cancer hosted by Adrienne Malouff, Project Angel Food hosted by Lisa Vanderpump. I hired Chef Mark and his fabulous catering company for our wedding this April in Newport Coast California. We absolutely adore his five star Pacific Rim cuisine. The catering crew was professional, kind and captivating. It truly made our Wedding Day special.
Wendy was INCREDIBLE to work with! I had my wedding on 11/12/16 and I reached out to Wendy in June. Planning a socal wedding from SF, I had to take a leap of faith, and I feel like I really lucked out with Wendy. In fact, she was the first vendor I signed a contract with because she made me feel so well taken care of before and during our first hour-long phone call. She asked me for my vision, and asked if I had a pinterest board of my ideas that she could look at. She even offered ideas on how to repurpose flowers to save on costs. During the months leading up to the wedding, Wendy was generous enough to make a drive to Irvine to meet me at my venue during the only weekend I was in town, and was also incredibly flexible as I had to make changes to the floral arrangements I wanted (adding a bridesmaid bouquet and a floral crown, etc). When I finally got to see her floral arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, and flower crown on the day of, I was blown away. Everything complemented one another perfectly and made our venue really come to life, and made our pictures look better than I ever imagined. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Wendy, for helping me have the wedding of my dreams!! You are the best and I hope that I'll have the opportunity to work with you again.
I hired Sierra Madre to cater a come-and-go brunch for close friends and out-of-town guests the morning after my daughter’s wedding. Initially I was concerned about travel time from Monrovia to my home in the Larchmont area of Los Angeles, but Tonya (owner-chef) assured me she would allow for all eventualities and be there with plenty of time to set up and be ready before the guests arrived. The menu was mimosas, orange juice, lox, bagel & cream cheese (with the usual trimmings), vegetarian omelets, pancakes, cut fruit, and sour cream coffee cake, coffee and tea. Everything turned out perfect! Tonya and her assistant, Chris, were at my house early, got set up and were ready to go before the guests started arriving. The food was wonderful. The on-the-spot food, pancakes and omelets, were outstanding; and Tonya’s sour cream coffee cake was a BIG hit. The guests loved everything. The only glitch was an under estimation of how much lox, bagels and cream cheese the guests would consume. Fortunately, I had anticipated that could happen and had an extra 60 ounces of lox on hand and an extra pint of cream cheese, and we have two bagel shops within walking distance. Tonya was great to work with and having her cater made my life so much easier. It was a beautiful brunch, within my budget, and I am thankful that I took the chance on hiring her company as I had relied solely on the Thumbtack reviews when I made the choice. I’ll definitely use Sierra Catering again. The only suggestion I might make is that more attention be paid to the serving dishes used. Mixing bowls really aren’t attractive bowls to put on the buffet table.
BEST EVENT PLANNER, HANDS DOWN!!!! I hired Ingrid and her team last minute for decorations and event planning for a work party. By far, the best decision I've ever made. My wedding is in August, and I've went along and hired her for that event as well. She's proficient, efficient, and a visionary!! Her ideas are so thoughtful and personally organized! I am so impressed with her work and her expertise. She never ceased to amaze me. I got so many compliments on her flower arrangements and decorations that for so perfectly with the theme. I can't wait to see what she's got up her sleeve for my wedding in August. Also, this wasn't the first time I've hired Ingrid for an event. I hired her back in November 2015 for my MIL 50th birthday party. Her husband and herself, arrived much earlier for setup and made sure everything was the way we wanted it to look, before hey left the scene. They are so professional and such hard workers. I got a ton of compliments on their work that our family friend also hired her for her services for their wedding too! I will always refer Ingrid, without a doubt! She's my go-to person since Nov 2015.
Wedding was yesterday and have to say that hands down, Crystal was one of the biggest blessings of the day! she was so organized and on top of everything and everyone! Michelle and her assistant Angel did an excellent job coordinating my wedding on 03/18/18. They’ve obviously done this many times. I hired Michelle as a “day of” coordinator. I just gave her a list of my vendors and she took care of the rest on the day of my wedding, I didn’t have to do anything at all. They took care of everything from start to finish.My guests were very impressed with their service as well. Would definitely recommend.
We hired Ricki for the “Day-Of Package” since we only had three months left before our wedding date. That didn’t stop Ricki. She put in a lot of time and special attention doing her very best to make our wedding day so very special. She arrived early to make sure all the tables & chairs were set up, directed the caterer, photographer, florist, musicians, bartender and her assistant, Robin. We were impressed at how knowledgeable she is of all the facets that go into a wedding. Ricki certainly knows her stuff! Ricki also assisted our guests. It took a lot of worry off my mind, knowing that she was there taking care of all the details… and just plain being our eyes and ears so we could relax and enjoy our own wedding. Omg the wedding planner and decorator sent from the Gods!! A bit dramatic for me to say, i know, but Nicole saved me! I tried to plan my own wedding, even got my mom involved and that took a turn for the worse. Nicole met with us, spoiled us with cold champagne, we talked about every detail and it she hit the ground running. It was amazing to see her level of expertise and decisiveness. So happy she could plan and decorate my wedding so magnificently ! You are an angel and I recommend Nicole and her fun team to anyone who is looking for a planner or designer. Chic, professional, and responsive!

Jennifer was amazing!!! We hired her as our day of coordinator for our wedding last month. The final month she worked with me to make sure I had all the details together, trouble shot problems, dealt with my vendors, and really got a full understanding of how I wanted my day to go. I could not have been happier with my choice to hire her. Bumps happen in planning and day of that you can’t control and I was so thankful to have her there for whatever I needed or couldn’t possibly do myself. She was punctual, amazing communicator, hard worker, and just plain bad add. I’m so grateful for her part in our best day!
Karen is amazing! Words can't adequately express my appreciation of this wonderful lady. She did so much to make our event a success and to relieve the stress related to hosting a wedding. We hired Karen to be our "coordinator for the day" for our daughter's wedding. Even though the wedding was small (about 60 guests) and in our home, we wanted someone to help so that WE could be guests ourselves and enjoy the wedding. I did quite a bit of research before choosing and I'm so glad that we chose Karen. She has an infectious smile that puts you at ease immediately. She is also extremely professional and knowledgeable. She asked a lot of questions so that she would have a better idea of what we were envisioning. She had great practical ideas that helped with the flow of the event. We felt like we were in really good hands. When Karen arrived on the day of the wedding, she absolutely blew me away! I gave her a quick tour of everything that was happening and she just took it from there. It was like she was family and had been there a million times. She stayed two steps ahead all night and really made the evening stress free. She has a very unique quality in that she can take charge and provide direction in the nicest most nonabrasive way. When she lets guests know that it's time to move out to the patio for cocktails, or that we're ready for a toast, grand entrance, cake cutting etc. everyone listens and no one feels like they are being "bossed around". When guests left, she did so much to help wrap things up that I actually had to tell her to stop. She's so thoughtful. She pays attention to the smallest details and she really listens. I know Karen has done hundreds of events from large and elaborate to small and intimate. No matter what kind of event your planning, Karen will make it better and she will make your life easier! Natalie provided us with an unforgettable experience for our farm wedding last fall. She is organized, professional, FUN, and was life-saving for getting everything together for our special day so we didn't have to worry about a THING. The Perfectly Event Planning Team was wonderful - I'm a highly organized woman, and didn't think I would need any help for the day of my wedding. However, Jessell offered her services and I'm so happy we hired her. I was able to enjoy our wedding and the entire day and just let Jessell worry about the nitty gritty and the payments and the time-line and getting my husband to where he needed to be! We couldn't have done it without her and don't know that we would have wanted to! I highly recommend Perfectly Event Planning to anyone who needs a little order to their event.
We hired Kristina as a day-of coordinator for our wedding - and WOW are we so glad that we did. She is awesome, very detail oriented, and bent over backwards to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch!! She contacted us ahead of time in order to ensure she knew exactly what we wanted on our wedding day and how she could best help us out. She did everything from picking up wine, event set-up/take-down, and vendor coordination to ensure that our day went extremely smoothly and as planned. She knew our plan so well that she never even came up to us during the event to ask a question - she just worked behind the scenes to enable us to enjoy every minute of our big day. It was amazing, she's the best and makes wedding day stress-free. Would highly recommend her to anyone as a wedding coordinator/planner and would hire her again in a second! You don't need to look anywhere else!
