I started working out with OJ towards the beginning of January- I had lead a sedentary lifestyle for a long time and felt kinda lost on where to begin. So far I've lost 14lbs, feel stronger, and feel more confident and capable while working out. I feel like he is a great choice for anyone started from a place of low fitness or obesity. PROS -it's private. I always felt very self-conscious working out in the big commercial gyms with tons of people around. There have never been more than 2 other clients (of his partner) during my sessions and often there is no one else. I can focus 100% on form and effort rather than getting caught up in how ridiculous, red-faced etc I must look -attention & assistance even outside of sessions. He's always quick to reply to texts whether its scheduling, nutritional questions, or asking for a routine to do. He's also been very accommodating when I've had to cancel or reschedule. -Limits! I feel he is so good in this department. I always leave a session feeling like I've been pushed to the very edge of my limits but not past- the only 2 times I went to far was due to stuff on my end that I hadn't mentioned (sick/hadn't eaten). He doesn't let me quit when I have to pause but can keeping going overall and he'll call me on it when he knows I can push harder, go faster etc, but he'll adjust the exercise if he sees I'm truly approaching the edge of my capabilities. And he's never misjudged which is which so far. Similarly, I can't get away with slacking on form due to fatigue or inattention but I'm not pushed to have form that I'm just not capable of yet (ex. pushups) This has probably been the biggest thing that keeps me coming back-I've had trainers who wanted more than I'm physically capable of, or pushed me to the point of failure which is very discouraging. -Each session is different and varied- I don't get bored. Also if I ask for a particular exercise he's always been willing to add it to the next session which is nice. -Sincere praise. When he tells me I'm doing a good job I know I actually have! That's way more encouraging than liberal amounts of undeserved praise CONS -The only con/downside is that I was initially looking to focus on lifting- reviewing moves, making sure my form was good, and developing a routine or 2 I could use at my regular gym. But I was also only planning to do a month of training and I'm at 2.5 now, and more than fulfilling my larger goal of general weightloss/fitness! So obviously it's a very minor complaint.
I’m so thankful for Megan! Her classes are fun but challenging. She will hold you accountable but also has realistic expectations and truly wants to see you succeed! Her classes and home workouts are tough but doable, and she always checks in to see how you are doing/feeling. The personalized nutrition plan is great and leaves room for flexibility while still making healthy choices. I can honestly say I am never hungry. Megan’s help has been worth every (very reasonably priced) penny!
Jake helped me with training advice and nutrition advice when he used to live in the UK, before he moved to LA. His information has really helped me, both in terms of improving health and fitness levels. He is incredibly motivating and inspiring - and he was so keen to help me as an individual and find out what would work best for me. I didn't like 'traditional' exercise, like endless runs or boring gym machines - but Jake could find ways to mix it up, keep it fresh and interesting, and I even managed to have fun along the way! I would definitely recommend Jake as a personal trainer to help you achieve your individual health and fitness goals.
An outstanding trainer! Training with Eric gave me really good results. Made a huge difference physically as well as mentally. Every time we trained I found that he was constantly striving to get me in better shape. He has a lot of knowledge on the workout side as well as the nutritional side. Eric is very professional and deifinately has a passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals!

Michael was not my first personal trainer, it did not take me long to figure out that the others did not take me seriously! If you have a goal in mind, then Michael is the one for you, I went on thumbtack to find a personal trainer, I was desperate, I had to pass a PAT test to secure my job at the State, and i can say WITHOUT Michael I couldn't of passed! I gave him the information to pass with the time limits. This is where i saw what separates the Professional Trainer from the ordinary, Michael knew exactly what to target and he knew approx. how long it would take. I was skeptical at first but he was right-on! If you are willing to work, Michael will be there with you every step of the way, his pricing is reasonable, I had no problem paying because of the results I was seeing!! You might find "Cheaper" but remember "you get what you pay for". I have been with Michael for 7 months, I am doing things I didn't think i could do, he got this 52 year old lady motivated to live a healthier lifestyle. I intend to stay with him, and set new goals for myself. Michael also helped with the Nutritional side, (that was doable)!! I just can't say enough positive thing about my experience. I know this one thing, with my determination and Michael expertise I was able to secure the job at the State!!

My experience with Jacobo has been wonderful! Prior to working with Jacobo I had been working out on my own and was making very little progress. However, in the past several months that I have been working with Jacobo I’ve been able to make a great deal of progress. He was able to develop a training method specific to my needs and has been able to work around my busy schedule. Jeanne Peters was rsferred to me by my sister. I thought enough of whaymt i had heared about her expert evaluations that i traveled fro Arizona to meet wigh her..she did a thorough Nutritional evaluation and i must say no one since including my own physicians gave me the time she afforded me. Jeanne Peters turned on a light to Vitamin D deficiencies and can only blame myself for not placing a Vitamin order once i realized they could be beneficial... I joined in Jeanne Peters Bone Density Camp online for several evening and once again was very impressed.. i have visited CALIF and have stopped in on ocassion but have found her out of the office.Sorry i missed you. Jeanhe Peters evaluated my yearly results on Blood work with her recommendations. Having a Nutritionist as sharp and intelligent as Jeanne Peters is an essentiall need for each of us..Once you are advised in regards to your health listen and take hede. I neglected to take Vit D and became ill it affecting my immune system..after a year of chronic ilness i can say that the Vit D is essential in my well being. Jeanne Peters is available and it is our responsibility to govern our health and call on her for advice visits and ongoing nutritional care and support. I love her videos of her Kale Salad and her soup made from cooking a variety of bones. I learned so much. Jeremy helped me to lose my baby weight and he made something that felt very overwhelming to me actually fun and enjoyable! After 3 weeks on Mr Slotkin's ClearVite detoxification program I had much increased energy even upon awakening caffeine free.
