I was very nervous for my first Spanish lesson but Pablo was very welcoming at our first meeting. We began very slowly to assess my level but he was quit to adjust to my ability. I am already at my third lesson with Pablo and look forward to continuing until I reach my goals!

Awesome teacher😀. We started out with lessons for my small children Elsa made learning so much fun for them with games and post-it's throughout the house. My children learned quickly and we fluent before they took Spanish in school. So impressed with Elsa I later hired Elsa to teach my husband and I Spanish. Elsa's approach helped us also learn quickly. We love her she is kind, patient and so much fun. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Spanish. Wally P

Miss Marguerite is a great piano teacher. She approaches her music lessons through a variety of techniques and methods that always keeps our daughter engaged. She teaches her music theory, music appreciation, rhythm, play by ear and the ability to read music. She differentiates the needs of each of her students and taps into their styles and preferences. Our daughter has learned a lot under her tutelage.

After searching for the perfect local spanish teacher, I found Dalila Miranda through! Dalila helped me improve my spanish in an effective, private, fun, and customized manner. I felt more at ease, confident, and motivated with each session. After living in Buenos Aires for a few years I was speaking “fossilized spanish”, basically meaning that I was self taught by speaking with the common people, and I had the incorrect spanish already ingrained in my memory. I was able to communicate with people, but I needed help with my grammar. Dalila helped me to understand proper sentence structuring, as well as tenses. I wanted to continue to learn spanish as they speak it in Argentina, and Dalila was able to accommodate this request! Recently I went back to Argentina to visit friends and my husbands family, and everyone noticed a huge improvement in my spanish! I am very happy with my experience at LA Spanish, and I highly recommend contacting Dalila to help you with your spanish! She is very timely, honest, caring, thorough, and customizes her lesson plans to fit your needs!

Hi, my name is Sasha Leal. I am a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in the business mountain city of Monterrey, Mexico. I have been outstanding in public speaking and creative writing since I was little. I studied at Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. My poems have been featured in the Architecture faculty's 60th anniversary edition (UANL) and also exhibited at art events, and currently, I still write for pleasure. I have experience teaching ESL, Spanish, and K-12 subjects. (I can provide my resume and references). Something really special about my teaching is that I like to keep every lesson energetic. I like to keep it fast-paced by targeting the interests of the students. Let's say, if you like cooking, I know I will get your attention by talking about ingredients and recipes rather than talking about cars or celebrities. I like to customize my tutoring based on what is needed (age, personality, and number of students is taken into account), so that people grow their passion for Spanish and stay motivated to work hard. Keep in mind: If you have a good sense of humor, expect smiling and laughing while you learn. You will overcome the pain of learning something for the first time and be capable of knocking the fear of failure out of your mind. I am very expressive; I use a lot of gestures and body language in general, helping students connect with the meaning of concepts and Latin culture, instead of depending on word-for-word translations. Students generally feel invited to communicate freely. I love what I do, and I know you will love learning Spanish, too. I can offer the first hour lesson as a courtesy. I would like to know about your study goals and expectations and see if we can work out a schedule, or see if sporadic study support is what you are looking for. I am flexible; I work with all ages, one-on-one, or with groups. I am very excited to know you; let's start working! Descubre que puedes lograrlo, - Sasha Material information: I follow "Ultimate Spanish" by Living Language (beginner to intermediate level) study plan of 40 lessons. I also own a copy of "Easy Spanish" by McGrawHill. I will work with your preferred study plan or your current material.
