The piano lessons are fantastic. My daughter (16) had 4 years of private lessons prior to starting with Kyle. She enjoyed the lessons and would kind of practice, but with Kyle she loves the piano lessons and has been practicing more than ever. Her previous teacher just kept giving her songs to learn but Kyle is making sure that she picks songs that she WANTS to learn. He encourages her to find the sheet music for the whatever songs she wants and they go through the music together. Kyle then gives her advice on what she can do differently or shows her how to play difficult sections.

I started the piano lesson with Mr.Harris on May 15th, on week before the lesson started, I sent him $200 which is 5 lessons in advance. After the first lesson, I told Mr. Harris that I’m moving to other city so I might not able to keep the lesson until June 1st. But when I contacted him for the lessons again on June 2nd, he told me that he has time on June 5th, Saturday 4pm. But when I try to text him for the lesson on Saturday morning, I just realized he is already blocked me on his phone. The reason why I think he blocked me on his phone is because, I texted him on both Thumbtack and iPhone, no response, plus the iMessage shows “not delivered”, I also tried to call him, but it automatically transferred me to voicemail but when I try to call him with a hidden number, it became normal. All sign shows he blocked me without complete the lesson. I think this kind of behavior is really unethical, Mr. Harris still owe me 4 piano lessons (worth $160), I wish this website could take care of it ASAP.

I am an adult student that has been learning the piano from Susan for about 4 months now, and I am enjoying every lesson thoroughly. Susan is an extremely patient teacher with great experience. I had about 2-3 years experience with western classical music on the piano before beginning my lessons with her, but still had difficulty in sight reading. Susan immediately identified my problem and suggested a method to correct it, and it is working extremely well! She also is very methodical in teaching and this helps tackle difficult pieces with utmost ease. I love the fact that she is very flexible, and gives importance to mastering a piece more than anything else. Loving every bit of my lessons with her!

I enjoy and look forward to each of my lessons with Jill. A lot of my goals with piano have been quickly achieved and I'm only going on my third month of playing. My favorite thing about her teaching methods is that fundamentals are taught based around what you personally want to learn. This makes learning more fun because it is through my favorite songs. She is very patient, so there is no pressure if I mess up or feel discouraged by my mistakes. I only have positive things to say about Jill and would recommend taking lessons with her to anyone who wants to learn piano in an effective pace and positive environment.

Hector is truly amazing! It's so wonderful to be inspired by a teacher. His love of music without a doubt seeps into his teaching. Even though our session was for 50 min, she gave me over an hour lesson to make sure I got everything right that we practiced so far. She is patient, so friendly and an excellent teacher. She would be a great teacher for every age group. I feel lucky that I found her as a piano teacher.
