I have been seeing Kenny for adult guitar lessons. He really is an amazing teacher. Having no musical experience in the past I was pretty apprehensive about taking lessons, but after meeting with Kenny and listening to his instruction I felt much more confident and look forward to working with him in the future.

Denis is an excellent Guitar teacher. The best quality of his , which stands out is his patience . It's of utmost importance for a teacher to have patience when teaching a beginner like me. I've just had 3 sessions until now and I've been really impressed by him.

I have three kids all taking music lessons at the school. Its great to be able to bring them to the school and have them take lessons at the same time. The teachers are very inspiring and professional. We will be here for years!

About

I have always followed both paths in Classical guitar and Electric guitar. My passion for music has lead me to explore most styles with the same excitement. I was also very lucky to have the best teachers when I started to learn guitar, as well into classical or in electric guitar. To meet some of the best guitar players can change your mind and change the way you teach. Since, I am dedicated to bring to my students what I had the chance to learn and I do it with passion.

I have recorded 20+ songs with Devan and have enjoyed Devan's professionalism and attention to detail with my songs. I have recorded in 5-10 studios in the past and find that Devan's technical and communication skills set him apart from the rest. The recording environment sets a warm, welcoming and creative environment which is necessary for every artist's success.

About

Hi! I'm Evan. I've been playing guitar for 14 years and have been teaching guitar for the past four years. I'm currently on staff at First Presbyterian Church in South Salinas as a worship assistant and guitarist and guitar instructor. I've taught guitar to well over 40 students over my years of teaching. I teach a variety of subjects including music theory, chord shapes, scales, modes, rhythm and even subjects including amplifier tone, proper usage of various effects pedals, band dynamics, the Nashville Number System, and developing your "ear." I've taught students ranging from 4 to 75 years old. Our lessons will be fun, relaxing, interesting and productive. Feel free to get in touch with me any time! I'm always sensitive and flexible with my rates and strive to be as reasonable as possible. I'm also willing to create custom packages to accommodate your budget.

About

Hi everyone, I am a multi-instrumentalist offering beginner/intermediate guitar, bass and drum lessons for students of all ages in the South Bay area. Many studies show that learning a musical instrument helps improve performance on cognitive tasks, increases the capacity of your memory, fosters your self-expression, boosts your self-confidence, relieves stress and above all else is fun! I am 27 years old and have been involved with various bands and session gigs throughout the Bay Area. I have been playing drums for over 16 years and have approximately 11 years of experience with guitar and bass. I have had many great experiences over the years in teaching music to friends and family. I recently began offering my music instruction services professionally and have had a lot of success with students as young as 7 and as old as 56. My lessons are structured based on your level of experience and musical tastes. I find that it is more fun and effective to integrate music lessons with a student's favorite music. You will not only be learning how to play an instrument but will also learn how to play some of your favorite songs along the way! After a few of my beginner guitar/bass lessons, you will be able to learn the following: • Identify and play basic chords • Use different beginner guitar/bass techniques such as bends, hammer-ons and tremolo picking • Perform basic maintenance of your instrument such as tuning by ear and restringing your guitar/bass • Read and interpret guitar/bass tablature Ultimately, my goal with every student is to help make music a lifetime hobby for them. I understand that learning a new instrument can be very intimidating for some people; instead of focusing on more complex topics like scales and music theory, my aim for beginners is to help build up their confidence by teaching fun songs, iconic riffs, fun beats and cool techniques that show immediate results. I offer one-hour instruction of the instrument of your choice (guitar, bass or drums) for $35. This is a flat rate, and I will not charge extra if you have friends or family who would like to learn alongside you during our lessons! Guitar/bass lessons can be taught either at your home, my apartment or a place of your choosing (i.e. coffee shop, park, etc). Drum lessons can only be taught at your home. I have extra guitars that you can use for the duration of our lessons if needed. Please shoot me an e-mail if you are interested, so we can discuss your availability, level of experience and music tastes. Thanks!

Brian teaches piano, music theory, and composition to our son. Our son starting working with Brian about ten years ago at age seven and worked with him for several years until Brian went away to go to graduate school. He began working with Brian again this year. Brian has been instrumental in helping our son become a fine musician and is helping him to find his voice as a composer. Brian has a wealth of knowledge music history and music theory. He suggests pieces to listen to and has interesting stories about the composers. It has been inspiring to our son to see Brian in performance playing his own compositions. Most importantly, Brian has shared his love of music with Jimmy and it's contagious.
