2019: We had them cater our Christmas party again this year and it was great again! We had over 65 guests and everyone was happy and well fed. We had to make several changes to our menu before the event and it was all done with an easy call to Evan. We would happily work with them again! 2018: They arrived on time, waited until our warmers arrived to unpack the hot food. He put it out and labeled what everything was. We hired Mimi to cater out daughter's Bat Mitzvah. But what Mimi did was so above and beyond just catering. Mimi's food and presentation of food was delicious and beautiful. But in addition, she turned the party space into a gorgeously decorated space beyond the dreams of our daughter. I cannot rave enough about our experience with Pete. He catered our wedding about two weeks ago and we were blown away. He managed to help organize the entire day, along with our coordinator, including the bar setup and of course the food. And let me say, the food was outstanding. We did a tasting with him before we hired Pete and he made a comment that really resonated, he said that anyone can make a good wedding tasting because you only cook for two people, but you have to talk with those who have worked with the chef to have a better idea of how they would cater to 120 people. We had very high expectations for the food and he exceeded them all, most of our guests made an effort to say how tasty everything was. We particularly loved his risotto and his polenta. Overall we can't thank Pete enough, the night was perfect and much of that is owed to him.

David and his family served up an elegant, tasty family-style dinner for the 120 guests who attended my brother's wedding in late-December. We had tri-tip, chicken, green beans, potatoes, salad and rolls -- everything was delicious and the Cowabunga crew made sure that everyone had plenty to eat. They served the food quickly and right on time. Everyone was gushing about how delicious the dinner was. David was incredibly responsive during the planning process and showed great flexibility with all of the last minute obstacles that came our way (including a last-minute change in venue just 1 month before the wedding, last-minute vegetarian meal requests, etc.) I would recommend Cowabunga catering in a heartbeat, they are a wonderful, kind, hardworking crew and the food was simply fantastic.

My company hired Kitchenina to cater lunch for a film shoot. We wanted delicious and healthy food that would keep us energized throughout the day, and Kitchenina did not disappoint! We ordered: salad with seeds and apples, cilantro lime chicken thighs, green beans, quinoa with roasted mushrooms, zucchini and carrots. I would definitely recommend them to people seeking healthy food that accommodates food allergens and restrictions (everything we ordered was gluten free!). I contacted them 4 days before our event, I was worried that perhaps there wasn’t enough time between the order placement and the day of the order but they assured me that they’re accustomed to these kind of orders.
