Let me tell everyone that our wedding isn't till May of 2015. I wanted to give an early first review based on Carlos' consultation . We met with Carlos and he was able to clearly articulate his services and level of expertise about the DJ industry . Not only that, but we are trying to plan a wedding , he made us feel confident that with his services , our ceremony/reception will run smoothly . He's very detailed, passionate , organized and we know with 100 percent confidence that we made the right decision in hiring him. So for those who are trying to make the important decision of who to hire for your wedding or event , stop here and hire DJ Charlie aka Carlos Gutierrez. I look fwd to our wedding .

This review is long overdue, but I'm so glad that we had Radish & Rose cater our wedding! I got married at The Hudson Loft, and Ariana and her team provided amazing food, super attentive service, and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. We were so glad to have them as a part of our big day! We'd met with a few caterers when we were first planning our wedding, but Radish & Rose was the obvious choice for us. Their staff was friendly and open to our ideas/input from day one, plus they had the best food and planning options. They took care of every detail, which is so important when you're booking a raw space and need to rent tables/chairs, place settings, and just about everything else. Ariana thought of everything and was able to answer all of our little questions and gave us advice on the things that we were clueless about. She made our day stress-free so we were able to focus on having a great time!

I found 3 Little Birds on Thumbtack and instantly fell in love with the way Jessica and Dustin communicated and worked with me and my fiancé! We hired them as day of wedding planners and got an initial meet &a greet, timeline meeting, wedding rehearsal and the day of. Here's what makes them 5 stars. Dustin is an absolute gem and has the creative view to help pull the wedding day together. He used bridesmaid bouquets as extra decor, reused ceremony flowers for the reception and helped with every detail including me asking him to move some things around when they didn't look exactly how I pictured them. He checked in throughout the night and was amazing! Jessica is everything you could ever want in a wedding planner and she is absolutely wonderful. Organized. Thorough. Great communication. But honestly the entire wedding day and night she kept asking me and my husband if needed anything. She bustled my dress for me, brought us appetizers and drinks and honestly made me feel like a princess. I had no worries the entire night! I highly recommend you have them stay to help clean up, it was a god send. Thank you Jessica and Dustin!!

Wendy was INCREDIBLE to work with! I had my wedding on 11/12/16 and I reached out to Wendy in June. Planning a socal wedding from SF, I had to take a leap of faith, and I feel like I really lucked out with Wendy. In fact, she was the first vendor I signed a contract with because she made me feel so well taken care of before and during our first hour-long phone call. She asked me for my vision, and asked if I had a pinterest board of my ideas that she could look at. She even offered ideas on how to repurpose flowers to save on costs. During the months leading up to the wedding, Wendy was generous enough to make a drive to Irvine to meet me at my venue during the only weekend I was in town, and was also incredibly flexible as I had to make changes to the floral arrangements I wanted (adding a bridesmaid bouquet and a floral crown, etc). When I finally got to see her floral arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, and flower crown on the day of, I was blown away. Everything complemented one another perfectly and made our venue really come to life, and made our pictures look better than I ever imagined. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Wendy, for helping me have the wedding of my dreams!! You are the best and I hope that I'll have the opportunity to work with you again.

I hired Sierra Madre to cater a come-and-go brunch for close friends and out-of-town guests the morning after my daughter’s wedding. Initially I was concerned about travel time from Monrovia to my home in the Larchmont area of Los Angeles, but Tonya (owner-chef) assured me she would allow for all eventualities and be there with plenty of time to set up and be ready before the guests arrived. The menu was mimosas, orange juice, lox, bagel & cream cheese (with the usual trimmings), vegetarian omelets, pancakes, cut fruit, and sour cream coffee cake, coffee and tea. Everything turned out perfect! Tonya and her assistant, Chris, were at my house early, got set up and were ready to go before the guests started arriving. The food was wonderful. The on-the-spot food, pancakes and omelets, were outstanding; and Tonya’s sour cream coffee cake was a BIG hit. The guests loved everything. The only glitch was an under estimation of how much lox, bagels and cream cheese the guests would consume. Fortunately, I had anticipated that could happen and had an extra 60 ounces of lox on hand and an extra pint of cream cheese, and we have two bagel shops within walking distance. Tonya was great to work with and having her cater made my life so much easier. It was a beautiful brunch, within my budget, and I am thankful that I took the chance on hiring her company as I had relied solely on the Thumbtack reviews when I made the choice. I’ll definitely use Sierra Catering again. The only suggestion I might make is that more attention be paid to the serving dishes used. Mixing bowls really aren’t attractive bowls to put on the buffet table.

I planned my wedding myself so I had been the point person for everything but she took the reins seamlessly on the day of so I could step back and enjoy the day. BEST EVENT PLANNER, HANDS DOWN!!!! I hired Ingrid and her team last minute for decorations and event planning for a work party. By far, the best decision I've ever made. My wedding is in August, and I've went along and hired her for that event as well. She's proficient, efficient, and a visionary!! Her ideas are so thoughtful and personally organized! I am so impressed with her work and her expertise. She never ceased to amaze me. I got so many compliments on her flower arrangements and decorations that for so perfectly with the theme. I can't wait to see what she's got up her sleeve for my wedding in August. Also, this wasn't the first time I've hired Ingrid for an event. I hired her back in November 2015 for my MIL 50th birthday party. Her husband and herself, arrived much earlier for setup and made sure everything was the way we wanted it to look, before hey left the scene. They are so professional and such hard workers. I got a ton of compliments on their work that our family friend also hired her for her services for their wedding too! I will always refer Ingrid, without a doubt! She's my go-to person since Nov 2015.

Crystal was our event coordinator for our wedding this past May. From the moment my husband and I met her, we knew that she was a perfect fit for us. She is so sweet, and always on top of things. She did an amazing job helping us with developing wedding time line, decor, vendors, and so much more! We were both really impressed by how easy it was to get a hold of her for any questions we had, and how prompt she would reply to calls/emails :) The day of the wedding, she tackled a few bumps on the road such as my seating chart mix up (oops)!, missing cupcakes, wedding dress bustle in such a quick professional manner. I can't thank her enough for the piece of mind that I had on my wedding day knowing she was there. I will definitely be giving Crystal a call for all my future events!!

It was a great pleasure planning our wedding with Rolanda. She kept us on track and helped us look like expert wedding planners to our family and friends. There are not enough words to thank Ricki! She came in and saved our day. We knew we needed a local wedding planner because we live out of state and arrived in California just two days before our wedding. Ricki had everything all planned and ready to go down to the last detail. She has a way of working with people as the neutral third party to make everything go smoothly so all venders are working together in a most congenial way. She worked with us, giving us the fairy tale wedding we imagined. On the day-of, she assisted with making sure everything was set up as we envisioned for this most special venue. I would highly recommend Ricki for the most accurate and attentive service. There is no way we could have done it without her!

Omg the wedding planner and decorator sent from the Gods!! A bit dramatic for me to say, i know, but Nicole saved me! I tried to plan my own wedding, even got my mom involved and that took a turn for the worse. Nicole met with us, spoiled us with cold champagne, we talked about every detail and it she hit the ground running. It was amazing to see her level of expertise and decisiveness. So happy she could plan and decorate my wedding so magnificently ! You are an angel and I recommend Nicole and her fun team to anyone who is looking for a planner or designer. Nikki’s a great bartender. She was able to turn around cocktails fast to guests. She’s quick at responding to you via email and she made it easy to pay her (by providing PayPal as an option for the deposit). The guests loved how we had someone shake them up drinks, and it was a relief we didn’t have to make them ourselves. I’m happy Nikki was available and provided us with excellent and friendly service!

When my daughter and I went searching online for someone to help with decorating her wedding reception we found Thumbtack. I typed in exactly what we were looking for and Jennifer with Peachy Keen weddings and event designs responded right away. We setup an appointment to speak with her about our ideas. Again Jennifer promptly confirmed our appointment and was right on time the morning of. She was sensitive to my daughters wants and needs, she contributed in areas we weren't quite sure of what we wanted and exceeded our expectations were we did. She was very attentive the night of the event and and was right there all night to do her best to try and keep us on schedule. Of course in all events some things don't go exactly as planned but Jennifer never complained. I was very appreciative of all her efforts to help make my daughters wedding as less stressful as possible. I would definitely recommend her and use her again in a heartbeat.

Karen is true to her company's name- a DREAM! It was such a joy to work with her, and having her calming presence around one of the most potentially stressful situations was a Godsend! We had a very unconventional ceremony and reception location, and she had incredible ideas that really saved the day- She organized and wrangled a complicated venue, all the while being so positive and calm. She is patient, structured, thorough, and just such a joy to be around! You can tell that she's seen it all, because nothing rattled her, and she had inventive solutions for every single hurdle we had: event flow, ceremony planning, venue snafus! We are so grateful and blessed to have this attentive, experienced planner coordinate our wedding, and you will be, too!!

We hired Kristina as a day-of coordinator for our wedding - and WOW are we so glad that we did. She is awesome, very detail oriented, and bent over backwards to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch!! She contacted us ahead of time in order to ensure she knew exactly what we wanted on our wedding day and how she could best help us out. She did everything from picking up wine, event set-up/take-down, and vendor coordination to ensure that our day went extremely smoothly and as planned. She knew our plan so well that she never even came up to us during the event to ask a question - she just worked behind the scenes to enable us to enjoy every minute of our big day. It was amazing, she's the best and makes wedding day stress-free. Would highly recommend her to anyone as a wedding coordinator/planner and would hire her again in a second! You don't need to look anywhere else!

Natalie provided us with an unforgettable experience for our farm wedding last fall. Jessell and her assistant are the absolute DREAM TEAM! If you want a worry-free event, I would highly recommend their services without any hesitation. I recently had and an out-of-state wedding that Perfectly Event Planning coordinated for me. They took care of every detail beyond my expectations and thought of things to pre-plan or organize that I never ever would have thought of that made even the smallest detail of my big day come off without a hitch! Not only are they organized and extremely detailed oriented, they are very gracious in taking requests I hoped for and they made great suggestions based on their experiences.
