Spencer came to my home when it was convenient for me and wrote up a contract that afternoon. It inspired me to say yes and sign. The job timeline was basically met. The workers were smart, respectful, and listened to what I wanted. The finished product is wonderful. We did all new flooring, brand new kitchen, painting, lighting, a built-in unit - my house is totally elevated and I love it. The result makes all the pain and discomfort of construction worth it. However, the good part is that we have now been enjoying our remodel for years and I can confidently say that we love the job that Anthony did! We hired Anthony to construct an addition, remodel our bathroom, remove our fireplace and replace it with a built-in entertainment center and electric fireplace, and to give our kitchen a "face lift," which included a new island, new countertops, new sink and backsplash. Anthony completed the work on-time (as we walked in from the hospital after having our first child, Anthony was walking out after completing the job) and on budget. What impressed me most was his honesty and technical expertise. Regarding our stucco issues, he wisely recommended repairing only the necessary sections to save costs, rather than a full overhaul. He also provided a meticulous breakdown of how to bring our unpermitted windows and kitchen work up to city code, explaining every detail from weatherproofing to screw placement. Joey has a great eye for detail; he identified issues with garage plumbing, door fittings, and even misinstalled rain gutters that others missed. He is also refreshingly budget-conscious—he actually talked me out of expensive garage epoxy, advising me to prioritize structural needs instead. While other contractors rushed out vague, "competitive" quotes, Joey took a few days to put together a comprehensive and fair bid. In the expensive Bay Area market, Joey stands out as a genuine, transparent professional. Although I went with another contractor due to prior obligations, I would highly recommend Joey for any home project."See more
