Stephen incredibly knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality, and will push you beyond your mental (which I need most) and physical limits to get most out of the training without screaming at me. He is fully focussed on you while training and whenevwer time permits he quickly jots down my progress and motivates me with all the Instagram recordings :) he is either working out with me to demonstrate or couting my reps or recording the video for my reference. there is decent progress within a month and i am hopeful that I will achieve my target soon with help and motivation from him. I strongly recommend him to anyone for best body and mind :)
It would not be an overstatement to say that Baron has changed my life. Physically, I am in better shape than I have ever been, even going back to my days playing high school football. The impact that Baron has had on my life, however goes far beyond what he has helped me achieve through strength training, CrossFit and nutrition guidance, rather the greatest gift that I've received from Baron is my confidence back. He is wise beyond his years and I deeply enjoy every minute that we spend training together. I truly appreciate his science-minded approach to exercise as well as his ability to let his clients' interest guide the work-out. I foresee great things for Baron as a trainer, and for all of those who make the smart decision to work with him.
Anthony is awesome. He has great communication, designs tough yet effective workouts, always has a positive, upbeat attitude (even when under the weather!), and he is incredibly supportive! The gym is unique in that it doesn't feel like one of those massive 24 Hour Fitness behemoths that lack in the community department. God's Gym is very community oriented. Everyone supports one another, and it is really nice to see familiar faces every time I'm in the gym. The trainers want you to succeed and are not just in it to collect money. They legitimately want you to reach your goals, and that gets me through the grueling workouts 3 times/week. The equipment might seem obsolete at first glance. However, this is the kind of gym I imagine hardcore, loyal bodybuilding athletes go to train. Rocky Balboa would train at this gym whereas the scary Russian dude would be at Equinox (Rocky wins the fight in the end!). If you are looking for a no-frills, authentic gym experience, God's Gym is definitely a great place to go. I have only been training at this gym, but I look forward to sticking with it in the long run. Plus, they offer multiple training packages for all types, and it's very affordable. I'll see you at God's Gym!
I just started training with one of Evan's trainers, Omar. He and his staff are friendly, professional, and very skilled. I'm excited to work out here! Also, his studio is really nice!
I have been training with Gerard Pommier for the last 3 weeks and love that he always keeps the work outs fresh with a variety of workouts that keep me engaged and looking forward to the next training. It's never the same boring routine. I have enjoyed his workouts so much in NorCal that he also is traveling to train me in SoCal in preparation for my wedding day. Highly recommend. He's a great person and trainer.
I worked with Aaron for seven months while training for the SF marathon. My primary goals were to stay strong while putting my body through grueling marathon training runs - which Aaron totally helped me with and on top of that I got the added bonus of increasing my upper body strength at the same time! Got lots of compliments on my arms and shoulders over the course of training with Aaron, which is a testament to how much just once a week can do - I can only imagine what would've happened if I had been seeing him twice a week.
At age 53, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and osteoporosis of the spine and hips. Following a successful surgery to remove my thyroid, my endocrinologist recommended that I pursue weight and resistance training in conjunction with a year-long course of daily injections to treat my osteoporosis. Since that time, I have felt so incredibly fortunate to have met Jackie Sizemore. Training with Jackie, with her expert knowledge of physiology and hands-on guidance, and experiencing the results of the comprehensive Youniquelyfit method, the T-Score for my spine went from -3.0 (osteoporosis) to 1.0 (normal bone density). I owe this dramatic improvement to my health to my bi-weekly training sessions with Jackie Sizemore in conjunction with my endocrinologist’s care. Working with Jackie is always challenging and never dreary; her positive, encouraging, and creative training sessions really make you feel good (with muscles tingling after intensive matt work!) Now, at age 58, and with thanks to Youniquelyfit, my flexibility, agility, and muscle tone has improved noticeably and my once constant back pain (attributed to spinal bone loss) has disappeared. I highly recommend Jackie Sizemore’s Youniquelyfit training sessions for anyone contemplating getting into the best physical condition of their lives.
John is doing a great job training my 12 year old son who competes in travel baseball. My son really enjoys his sessions and his fitness is improving everyday.
I have worked with John for almost a year now. Over the course of the year I’ve been more than pleased with the service, not only was the system very structured punctual and professional, but I’ve had more results than ever before. John/fast pace PT is the third personal training service I have used, after having two other personal trainers. Structured system compared to traditional personal training is much more effective and I have appreciated all of John’s, and his team is hard work . I look forward to more training and even more results to come. Eli
Kip is seriously a top notch personal trainer who knows how to TRANSFORM bodies. Not only does he push you to your best potential, he knows how to advise nutrition for the best results. PLUS this is real private training. You get the whole gym to yourself - there's no fighting over machines. I lost over 5 lbs in 1 week and I am PUMPED!!!!!
Xavier is one of the most hardworking and dedicated trainers I know. I needed help with my Army Physical Fitness Test training, particularly with my two-mile because I had a huge mental block and never broke that barrier or dropped my time no matter what I did. I found out that Xavier had done extensive research prior, and there were many days we went over one hour but he did not charge extra. He is someone I would describe as not after your money but truly cares about helping you reach your goals, no matter the cost and extra burden on him. The special thing about Xavier is really what you are getting in his packages-- it's not just physical training, but a package that addresses all three things: physical, emotional, and mental. With my mental block, he took me to speak to his wife, who was professionally certified. All at no extra cost to me-- it was all on his dime. Why? Because like I said, he cares about the person and his/her goal rather than just making money. When I was injured or on the brink of getting injured, he was able to help me with physical therapy as well (he's a massage therapist) so I didn't even have to go to a doctor for that. (He really knows what he's doing with physical therapy and massage; I actually feel that it's his specialty). It obviously worked because I was somehow able to avoid all those close calls, recover from a strained shoulder and strained hip, and prevent further injury ALL while intensely training at the same time nonstop for the twenty days I had left. We definitely went over just one hour everyday but Xavier never said anything. I know what I was able to achieve earlier, and I had reached my wits' end with making any improvement. Today, saying I reached my goal is an understatement. I completely smashed my goal and broke a mental and physical barrier forever along the way-- by almost 2 minutes. Something I couldn't break by even a minute for NINETEEN years by myself. But only twenty days with Xavier and suddenly I broke it by not just one but TWO minutes in an already short two-mile run? AND somehow got over my greatest fear at the same time? That's what I call a miracle. Got above and beyond for everything else. At times I know I gave Xavier a hard time because sometimes I wouldn't listen to him or argued with him about what was right. But it doesn't matter who was right or wrong at that time because all that matters to me is the end result-- and I succeeded. Thank you Xavier!
Kenny has played a vital role in me sustaining a healthy lifestyle. He takes the time to assess the individualized needs of each client and gives in the moment feedback to achieve optimal results. One of the things I like the most is the workout routines are never the same. I have been client for 2 months and plan to continue my training sessions as part of my lifestyle changes.
Gretchen is very pleasant and encourages you through out the training session.
I've been training with David for about 5 weeks now. I decided to train with David initially because I felt like he listened to my goals and he sounded like he had a lot of experience. He was the first person I interviewed but I remembered that he was the most humble and down to earth, and I had a feeling I'd be comfortable training with him. All the men trainers I interviewed talked to me like I had two brain cells, and I found David to be the most up front and honest. My goal is to lose weight, tone up and to strengthen my left shoulder for outrigger canoeing. So far, I am noticing a huge difference with my left shoulder. Its stronger and it no longer bothers me when I go paddling or perform certain exercises. Its still not 100% in strength but has gotten a lot stronger through training. All our sessions are pretty different and varied. I never know what to expect from David, which is good. I get bored at the gym because I love the outdoors, but David keeps it interesting. David pushes me when he thinks I'm slacking off, which often times, he is mostly right about.... I need someone to push me or I will slack off, which is probably a good reason to hire a trainer. David goes out of his way to make it work for his clients. He genuinely cares about his clients and loves what he does. I can tell by the excellent service he provides for his clients. My personal belief is that its important to practice what you preach, and David is a trainer that is in great physical condition, and knows what he is doing. I personally did not want to hire a personal trainer at the local gym that looked like they needed training themselves... I highly recommend David as a personal trainer. Due to his diverse background, I believe he would be a great fit for many.
I trained and took High Intensity Interval Training with Cassie for over three years and she is, simply put, amazing. She motivates you to push yourself but is careful not to let you overdo anything so that you put yourself at risk for injury. She provides excellent training and nutritional advice as well. Cassie is the best!!
I hired Marcos Hurtado for strength training. He is just great. Comes to my home; punctual; always checking in and works with me at exactly the level I had hoped for. I have 3 sessions of experience with him. I'm recommending him to my neighbors.
Before I began attending Vince's martial arts classes I was extremely shy and ashamed to go in because I was so over-weight. I would walk by his class and watch him and his experienced students and I so badly wanted to be there too. I finally decided to go in one day, despite of my hesitation, and that was the best decision I ever made. Since day one Vince has been extremely welcoming and tremendously patient and helpful. This last year I finally decided to take private training sessions with Vince and they are worth every penny. He's helped increased my cardiovascular and muscle fitness. The side effect of which has been weight loss. When I first started training in martial arts with Vince I was a complete newbie. I had no prior experience. After 2.5 years of training and an increase in private sessions I finally competed in my first fight. He has helped me every step of they way and has supported my growth as a fighter. Today we continue to train and are looking forward to new opportunities to compete. If you are looking for a trainer, Coach Vince will definitely help you reach higher levels of performance, speed, and strength.
I've been training with Jason for just about a year. Since we started, I've lost 11 pounds. More importantly, I've been about to reduce my diabetes meds by 75%. It's been a life changing experience. Jason has a deep understand of the body, and how various training programs impact different people. I am a 48 year old who has never been about to maintain a training program of any significant length of time. Jason keeps me motivated, coming back, and looking forward to my next session. If you're on the fence, give Jason a call. You won't be disappointed.
I love my workouts with Cindy. She is keen with my abilities. I'm an advance exerciser, Cindy's workouts were intense and challenges me. I love the fact that Cindy incorporates kickboxing into my training. I felt every single muscle in my body. 2 days of strength training and 2 days of kickboxing. I look forward to my sessions every day. I'm starting to feel a difference in my body.
I’ve been training with Herman for almost 3 years now, and believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around. I started training 4-5 times a week and really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the personal one-on-one session. Herman are fun to work with and he pushed you to the limit to achieve your goal.
I had Sanchez as a trainer for about two years before I moved out of town. I still make sure to see him when I travel back to town. Dude knows his stuff, is light-hearted but unrelenting, and actually gets results. Recommended for those focusing on strength training, though he might Zumba like a motherfucker; I don't know.
