Cai laoshi (Lillian) is an excellent Chinese tutor! She worked with our kids this summer, ages 12 and 8. Lillian is very patient in teaching them, and is able to customize the teaching curriculum based on each child's learning style. She did a lot of songs with my daughter, which helped her become engaged and interested. For our son, she had him learn poems, along with vocabulary words. Lillian is very on time for all our sessions. She is also amazingly encouraging and uses positive reinforcement. She's responsive to emails and texts. Overall, our family couldn't have found a better Chinese teacher! She's a keeper! :)

Wendy taught my daughter and several other students Chinese for two years on a weekly basis during my daughter's sixth and seventh grade school years. It was a wonderful experience!!! The class was held in our home. The next year, when Wendy moved to California, we transitioned to another teacher and that year went great, too. We are so looking forward to our daughter beginning Chinese for a high school credit this coming fall, her ninth grade year, and our plan is that she continues through her senior year. Wendy helped introduce learning Chinese in a most enjoyable and also challenging manner. Wendy kept the students engaged and kept good order in the class times they spent together. She included art and drama, which was very enjoyable. Wendy has a strong work ethic and is very professional. She truly cares about her students. I highly recommend her as a Chinese teacher!!! -Mrs. Tricia Bailey, Lexington, SC (07.19.19)

In the beginning, I was really afraid of talking to others in English because I know that I can’t speak English well. However, after some lessons, I become more and more confident and fell in love with the lessons. I tried speaking to others and they answered me. This greatly encouraged me.

Clint helped both of our children with their math courses from grade school through high school. Clint is very patient, caring, and able to identify each students learning style. He is flexible, professional, and effective. Clint is familiar with each school's teachers and requirements. Both of my children performed better on exams and were better prepared for the next course level because of his tutoring.

My name is Cameron Anetsky. What sets me aside from other tutors is that my priority is the student, their family, and their needs. I tailor my tutoring to each and every student. My teaching has a basis in the Saxon Method of teaching, but it is more than that. I teach not only the subject matter, but the tips, note taking, organization, and study skills that make each student uniquely successful. I am well versed in teaching most subjects, with special emphasis on Reading and Writing, Social Studies, Foreign Language, Math, and Science. I effectively teach skills that can be used later in their academic and professional careers: reading for retention, note taking, analytical skills, scientific analysis, nursing and patient care, and writing.

    About

Having been fascinated with the inner workings of programs from a young age, I take joy in constructing my own within several platforms. I would be more than happy to teach those with the same passion for computer science. Languages I have worked on include Java, C++, Ruby and HTML. In regard to teaching these subjects, I have experience in the past teaching elementary school kids how to program their own robots. Your school assignments will seem just as easy to you in no time! I can also offer tutoring for Japanese, having been raised in a Japanese household and attended the San Francisco Japanese Language Class for over 10 years. I was also a teacher aide for AP Japanese at my local high school, so I know firsthand what challenges students' face when learning this particular language. With these experiences, I can teach Japanese like no other tutor can. I look forward to further correspondence!
