Emo is an awesome artist he is patient and understand and knows when to push you to your very limit. I shopped around for voice coaches for weeks before I settled with Emo anyone reading this don’t look at anyone else. Go see Emo he’s laidback patient and he his lessons are fun.
I highly recommend GreenTree and Sidney!! Coordinating piano lessons and other artistic endeavors with Sidney was an effortlesss and pleasant task. He made it happen and initiated some remarkable lessons. GreenTree is on speed dial for our next visit to OC.
My daughter piano lessons. It just 2 classes and really so good and she is able to read notes. Just waiting for next more lessons. The instructor John is very knowledgeable and nice in teaching her.
My son Max has been taking drum lessons from Blake for almost a year. He hit the ground running from day one, teaching the basics including reading music which I believe every musician should know. Blake's methods and personality have made drum lessons enjoyable and Max looks forwarded to his weekly sessions. I would absolutely recommend Blake to anyone interested in learning to play the drums.
Damien has been a great teacher. I've taken guitar lessons from him for about 6 years. It's nice to know that i have a teacher who is passionate about what he's doing and will always explain everything in an understanding way. He's encouraged me in my song writing and has developed and produce one of my own songs. I highly recommend him for your teacher!
I've been taking guitar lessons with Kimberly since the beginning of 2011. At the time I'd had several years of lessons using a traditional method on acoustic guitar and was looking for a teacher who could help me focus on electric blues rock and move me beyond my intermediate skill level. Kimberly has a real focus on and talent for teaching. My lessons are tailored to meet my interests. A large part of the lesson is devoted to learning her method for blues soloing--at least 5 approaches to improvisation and comping. After several years, I've come to see how these approaches interweave, complement each other and have become an intuitive part of my musical vocabulary. Also, because I expressed an interest, part of the lesson involves sight reading, learning blues and jazz theory, developing rhythmic playing sense, and learning a few favorite solos. Kimberly has an amazing ability to tab out and teach any song you give her. Which leads to the best part--after 6 months I was invited to play with one of her ensemble classes. While I was absolutely petrified with fear at the beginning, this has turned into one of the highlights of my week every week. It is just downright fun! It's a safe and forgiving environment where you can make mistakes and learn, or try things out that might flop, or turn into something cool. Every teacher and guitar magazine article all point to the need to play with other musicians to develop your skills and this is where Kimberly Allison really delivers. I feel that I could now sit in with other musicians and contribute. I give my highest recommendation for taking lessons with Kimberly.
Stefano is an amazing drum teacher. He teaches in a manner that is not threatening or condescending, but instead is uplifting and positive. He is patient, yet understands that the student wants to just hammer away and make lots of noise so he mixes the basics with permission to let loose. He is also very individualistic in his teaching, meaning he really focuses on what you are asking and where you need help. For instance, I sometimes learn best by watching, so if I ask him to show me something he readily does. Or, if I am thinking way ahead, such as how I may use a flam in a song, he doesn’t get impatient and say, “we’ll get to that,” but instead, answers the question and talks about how it will be worked into our lessons. My experiences with Stefano have been nothing short of perhaps the best music lessons I've ever had. I highly recommend Stefano to anyone who wants to learn drums the right way.
I started taking drum lessons later in life as I've always wanted to learn. After a great birthday present from a friend I started lessons with Mike. He is great at listening to what I wanted to learn and was very, very patient with me. I've always had trouble reading music but he taught me in no time and made the lessons very fun and interesting. He let me pick the songs I wanted to learn and he would even play along to help me get it right! Mike is a very talented drummer, musician and teacher. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning the drums, he'll have you playing in no time!!
I was, no, am so impressed with every aspect of Mr. Snydman's lessons. Need I say more? Yes! In addition to his musical knowledge, he is a genuinely kind caring person.
My children are both working with Mr. Frank weekly. He tailors the lessons to their skill level and age. What I like most is his professionalism and his amazing studio set up. He has made many custom tracks for my son and audio files of rehearsals that he uses at home to practice.
My son loves his drum lessons with Chris. We find that Chris is very patient and inspires our son a lot to practice. Our son took piano lessons for years, but he never loved it or practiced that much. Now we don't have to say anything and our son is practicing so much. We highly recommend taking drum lessons from Chris at the Dynamic Drum School.
I wanted a teacher that could work with an older adult who not had piano lessons since childhood. After many years, I wanted to challenge myself by getting back into piano and I wanted to bring music back into my life. I was a bit nervous about making the commitment and about the time investment that would be required. I also didnt know a good teacher so I asked around. Howards name came up. He was recommended as a patient and knowledgeable teacher that would do wonders with students. Howards approach is not the conventional one that I experienced as a child. He presents many types of approaches and uses lots of tools and techniques to build your skills and understanding of the structure of music. Now, Im stretching myself to learn, remember and apply these skills and it feels really good! I actually enjoy practicing my piano. Now thats a testimony to Howards influence! If you are looking for a teacher that can accommodate your needs, encourage and inspire you, meet Howard and try him out. Im confident that you will be very pleased with him as a professional and as a teacher.
Nolan is a consummate professional, both with his drumming skills and his demeanor. He is able to be firm enough with my 10 year old son (who thinks life revolves around video games), yet never overbearing. This is perfect for a kid with a short attention span! I appreciate the way he challenges my son and encourages him at the same time. I have been a life long musicians playing guitar and singing for over 25 years, and with all the drummers I know, if I was going to take drum lessons I would want to take them from Nolan!
My son has been taking piano lessons here for about two months now and he loves it so much! These people are so enthusiastic about music and sharing it with these little souls.
Geo is a very good drummer with a great attitude!!! I took lessons with him for over two years and thoroughly enjoyed my time. He has a cool approach to the drum kit that makes you look comfortable and relaxed when playing. He is experienced and knows how to quickly help you where you lack. He is patient and nice! Highly recommended for both experienced players and beginners!
Viewed multiple events and had a blast. Friends have taken lessons and done shows here and was taken care of really well. Always a great time
Michael has a very straight forward approach to teaching. Whether it was answering a technique question or developing new ways to manuever around the set, each lesson consisted of my thoroughly learning new information in a practical and very efficient manner. Being a percussionist myself, we naturally have good rapport with the language we communicate with. Michael's way of personal interaction alongside his instrument is certainly one of the best forays into any practice and study of music, for those just starting or already proficient.
My grandson took lessons on the drums from Dave which were really great. He became a very good drummer but James also became interested in the keyboard and guitar, so along with his drum lessons Dave would give him beginner lessons on the other instruments which gave James an even greater love for music. Dave has a great way with his students and is available to the parents that may have questions or concerns. Many times Dave went above and beyond what was required of him. James has had a very positive experience with Dave and I would highly recommend him to any body that wants to learn drums.
Delightful young man. Accommodating schedule and a thoughtful teacher! Our son is enjoying his lessons and practicing them after. Thank you Efrain!
We love having Brian Griffin as a drum/percussion teacher. My son began lessons as a young elementary student, and Brian was able to engage him immediately by creating lessons around the music he was drawn to. Over the years Brian's teaching continually evolved with my son's interests and focus. There has always been an excellent rapport between them, while maintaining the dynamic of student/teacher relationship. Brian has always shown a high level of professionalism, he's always engaged and enthusiastic, and my son has developed not only in the mechanics of percussion but also what it means to be part of an ensemble and just an overall well-rounded musician. We are grateful for his years of instruction and support.
Ulises is an enthusiastic and honest person who also happens to play killer drums, he follows a great method so his classes are well structured and thought out. You will do no wrong in hiring him.
