Jonathan got me into incredible shape. I was out of shape and chubby prior to seeing Jonathan. Now I'm lean, stronger, and at a healthy weight. Also, he is a great martial arts and Krav Maga coach. I've been training Krav classes elsewhere but not getting the results I wanted. Now my punches, kicks, maneuvers, and techniques are on point.
I have been working with OJ for one month and have attained amazing results. I am 10 pounds down and feel much stronger. Our family has a friendly competition going called, "Who Worked Out The Hardest With Paul?" Typical boasts include: "I did more lunges than you," "I worked so hard I almost puked," and "I bench-pressed more weight than you." Essentially, we are all proud of what Paul pushes each of us to do and are very happy with the results. In fact, we are now approaching the four-year mark of our training with him for several times each week. What makes this friendly competition a bit more unusual, however, is that it crosses three generations. Our sons started training with Paul when they were 15 and 17. Now college students, they continue to train on campus, successfully utilizing the techniques that he taught them. Our eldest son was even invited to join the UCLA Powerlifting Team. My husband and I are equally enthusiastic about Paul's training approach and do everything possible to avoid missing a workout. We both feel stronger and healthier than we did a decade ago. My in-laws, who are both in their 70s, have also thrived under Paul's instruction. My mother-in-law quickly lost over 28 pounds and has maintained her weight, in addition to making excellent gains in muscle tone over the years. Not only can Paul skillfully train clients of different ages, but he also adapts to different needs and personalities, as well. He is excellent at working around assorted aches and pains, as well as speeding recovery from various medical procedures. He always keeps a fast pace and presents us with a challenging variety of exercises. All of us have accepted the fact that it is far easier to simply do whatever Paul asks than to try to argue that we cannot, even if it initially seems impossible! The amazing thing is that Paul instinctively knows each individual's potential and doesn't let anyone underestimate what he or she can do. He has a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of fitness, health and training and we have yet to stump him with any of our questions. Paul has instilled his passion for fitness in three generations of our family and we are forever grateful.
Hmmm... I'm not really sure how to write a review for this guy without sounding like a cheesy advertisement, but really, that's just how wonderful he was. I've been a long distance runner since I was 12 (I'm 26 now) and cardio has always been my preferred exercise. I've been plagued with injuries off and on for the last couple years so I decided I would give personal training a shot, learn how to sculpt and work out my body in a different way. I am so glad Manuk was up to the task. He sat me down and asked me exactly what I wanted to accomplish during our time together and what my long term goals were. He gave me an overview of what he thought the best plan was to meet these goals and always answered my persistent (and annoying) questions. One of my biggest problems with being in the gym and trying to convert to a healthier life style is accountability. I can work hard in the gym with Manuk three days a week, but it's the times that I wasn't with Manuk that made it hard because it was easy to "cheat". Manuk makes himself accessible to his clients. He encourages you to share apps such as my fitbit and my fitness pal to help with your nutrition, he encourages you to text him when you have questions... and I do mean any question. This guy even gave me tips on what booze would be least damaging to meeting my goals when it came time to go on vacation with my friends. The most helpful thing about Manuk, however, is how much he cares. There were times were I had personal things going on in my life that really affected my performance when I would meet with him, but he would be right there in that moment with me telling me he understands and encouraging me to use that in our work outs. And it worked. I, unfortunately, had to move 400 miles away for work and family, but I have yet to really click with any fitness instructor or trainer the way I did with Manuk. He's just that genuine (something I'm finding out is pretty hard to come by in this industry) and just that great.
It has been wonderful working with Corey this summer. I've worked with several trainers over the years, and frankly, Corey has been the best. Our first meeting was an assessment of my basic fitness and abilities. From there, Corey tailored our workouts to my needs as I became stronger and more capable. I definitely want to continue working with Corey in the future!
Mark is an awesome trainer. He listens to your goals and finds a way to help you reach them in a realistic plan. His knowledge of the anatomy will help you get the most out of your workout. No workout is ever the same. He gives you the tools to succeed- Meal plans, check ins, and workouts for days you aren't training with him. It's a fool proof plan IF you follow and listen to him. He also offers meal preps and they are tasty!
Vinny is probably the most positive person I have ever met. Vinny is a great coach and has taught me a lot about how to really train hard. Vinny maximizes your workouts in ways i thought weren't possible. He shows great dedication in his work and has helped me with with my fitness training and getting my meal plans together. His work changes you for a lifetime, that's for sure.
I have been working with Sandy for about two months. She has been fantastic to deal with. She is knowledgeable, motivating, and her work-outs kick butt!! Sandy has been very flexible in scheduling appointments and she is always on time. The sessions she has created for me have been an excellent mix of cardio, strength training, and AB work. None of the sessions have been boring! I highly recommend her services!!
The personal training with Chris was very effective and good fun. He developed a specialized training routine for strength and coordination for me. Besides that he was friendly and professional. I will definitely book more sessions with him and would recommend him to everybody for personal trainings.

After realizing my 48-month old baby weight wasn't going to melt away on its own, I decided to give Allen Russel and SKILZ Fitness & Sports a call. Allen did not disappoint. He customized a work-out plan for the target areas that I wanted to tone and a meal plan to help me lose the weight. He was very accessible and accommodating with my rigorous work and mom schedules and results were visible. Allen has not only been an ear, but a motivator, drill sergeant and now friend. Guarantee he won't disappoint!
Corey is such an amazing trainer!! He customizes the training to fit your needs and what you like so that you can enjoy working out. He's very friendly and always cracking jokes, yet very serious when it comes to the safety and how to get it done right. His priority is his clients, so you won't be seeing him on his phone while training, and that's very nice to know. If you're reading this comment, I assume you're looking for a trainer. Do it!! I got stronger, leaner, and feel great about myself!
I've tried starting a gym routine half a dozen times in my life, and this is the first time it's ever stuck. Chris was patient, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He took his time to demonstrate every exercise he wanted me to do, and kept me motivated through each of the 20 sessions I signed up for. Now, for the first time in my life, I feel confident enough to go to the gym on my own, and motivated enough from the results of my training to keep a consistent workout schedule. I actually look forward to going to the gym now! I'll be signing up for more training in the future, and recommending Chris to family and friends.
Danny is the most knowledgable trainer I have ever hired. Not only is he skilled in basic muscle-fitness training exercises, he also is incredibly knowledgeable in nutrition and how it correlates to the human metabolic system. He’s a true professional who has your best interest at heart. He is very sensitive to the needs you may have and will work with any limitations you might have. EG's Training is very personal and professional, knowledgeable and encouraging, I went in not wanting to waist my money on a trainer, I found he wanted to help me to meet my goals and to exceed my expection of a trainer. And he did. I went in at 240 my goal was to get down to 170. I got down to 160 size 20 to size 10. I've never been a 10 ever.
