When I decided I wanted to start over and learn classical guitar from a professional teacher I went hunting for a great teacher. Before starting lessons with Peter I met with a couple other guitar teachers and gauged them against others I have known. I chose Peter because I found him to be everything I was looking for. Peter is smart. He is both a highly skilled player and a talented teacher. He is dedicated to teaching guitar vs teachers who don’t primarily play guitar or teachers who don’t have any training in guitar pedagogy. I was so nervous about leaving Bat for the first time, but Ian assured me that I had nothing to worry about. He sent me updates and pictures constantly while I was away which was very comforting, and he was consistently professional, trustworthy, and reassuring. He is wonderful with animals and immediately got along well with my kitten. I felt safe leaving her with him and would entrust her into his care again in a heartbeat. In fact, I am visiting family out of state over the holidays and requested that he watch over her again! Look to Ian for your pet-sitting needs, you won't regret it. :)"See more

Working with Gaurav is a ton of fun and he breaks things down so that your playing becomes easier and engaging, not tedious. This is key for anyone just starting out or for a seasoned amateur like myself. I can’t speak for pros but Gaurav certainly is one. If you want to shred on a metal solo or play Nashville-style, Gaurav can show you how. Best teacher I’ve ever had, hands down!!"See more
