I hired 3R's Catering to plan and cater my 5th wedding anniversary. Regina and her staff were more than amazing. She made sure all of my needs and concerns were addressed from beginning to finish. The one thing that really stood out was her famous strawberry lemonade and lemon pepper wings. My god!!!!! They were amazing. The crew was professional and helpful. I cannot say enough great things about Ani! She was the glue that held the morning of my wedding together and my only regret was not having her throughout the duration of my wedding day. Our venue provided a coordinator, but she didn't touch Ani's level. Ani is prompt, professional, organized and so sweet! She is everything you could ask for in wedding planner/coordinator. She made me feel so comfortable and confident everything was going to plan. I, myself am very type A and she could tell I was very concerned about the timeline. She was there every step of the way telling me how much time we had left or that we were "doing good on time". Exactly what I needed to hear. In addition, she kept my now husband and his groomsmen in the loop at a separate location and kept us all fed and hydrated. She was the best friend I'd met twice, but couldn't have done without on my big day. Thank you Ani!

Gray is beyond AMAZING!!!!!!!!! She made my dream come true babyshower come to life. She is very professional and meets all your needs along with her creative ideas. Everything was more than expected at my babyshower, I felt like it was my wedding on how great she decorated the venue. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about the set up. I also loved that she stayed within my budget on what I wanted to spend for that day. Novaoriginal Events was the event designer for my wedding last year. I had seen pictures of her work and decided to trust her with the most important day of my life. From the décor to the flowers to the lighting to the cake, even the dinner menus, it was more than I could have even imagined. She planned every detail which took alot of stress off me! She took my vision and turned it into such a flawless luxury event my family is still raving about it. She was very warm and professional and responsive to what I wanted. So of course I turned to her again to design my baby shower this past July. Again it was a gorgeous 5 star event beyond my expectations. I would recommend her for any event. See my pics below! Whenever it comes to everything that’s my color events. Their work speaks for them . There is a different between event planner/ designer and CEWP( certified event and wedding planner ) which I was not aware until I had the opportunity to see my color event’s work. I realized that being a wedding planner is not just about getting a venue booked and guests fed as there are so many other things and tiny details to think about that do make a huge difference in this special occasion. Gilda has got what it takes to come up with lots of new ideas and her creativity and attention to details is amazing and impressive. Gilda helped us through the whole process from start to end and she was always on top of things. It is so important to know that you are in good hands and your wedding planner has everything under control, as this could be quite overwhelming and nerve wrecking time. Gilda helped us pick the venue, worked out all the contract logistics, helped us pick the invitations, place cards, thank you cards, put together and printed the program and menu, helped us pick the music and songs, connected us with vendors for flower arrangements, photography, video, hair, makeup and did so much more. There is no way I could have done this on my own. Gilda was at the venue from early morning on the wedding day to decorate the place inside and out. She was there for me not only helping with the dress/hair/shoes, but also emotionally to keep me calm and happy. Gilda made the whole experience very pleasant and it was so much fun! My wedding day ran so smoothly, everything was on schedule, and it was absolutely perfect! Thanks to Gilda, my husband and I were able to fully enjoy our wedding day without a worry in the world! From start to finish my experience with More Than a Favor was fantastic! I had personalised welcome boxes made for my wedding welcome party. They were really well received, our guests loved them. The great thing about More Than a Favor is that they work with you to come up with exactly what you want. There's no standard templates, it's all personalised and flexible to the look and feel you want to achieve. I even had children boxes created so they didn't feel left out. I would 100% recommend them and will most certainly be back for more!

Every Season Events were responsible for our day planning and centerpieces for our wedding on July 26, 2014. Our experience with Cathy, Jen, Cassandra and Tanya was AMAZING. I truly believe that we had the best planners in the world. While planning our wedding, my husband and I tried our best to make everything affordable and truly reflect us. We realized about 2 months before the wedding, that we needed help. Calling Cathy and Jen was the BEST decision we made. They literally made sure everything was taken care of, worked with us every step of the way and just made us feel so comfortable. Cathy is so efficient with everything! She called all of our vendors and even made sure that the day of, she was there way before needed! Even when we had a little bit of a rain damper, she, Jen and Cassandra made sure nothing ruined our moment. I truly believe that they stopped the rain haha (that's how good they are) Our centerpieces, made by Tanya were so beautiful. She literally made sure I was comfortable with every detail and used her creativity to the max! I loved working with her. Our guests LOVED THEM! A wedding planner can be contracted at any stage in the wedding planning process to help to any degree the couple is willing to pay for. Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner. When looking for a wedding planner, be sure to read reviews, and make smart hiring decisions by asking about licenses and insurance.

How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. If the ceremony and reception are in two different locations, expect to pay more than if they’re in the same place. What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

  • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
  • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
  • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
  • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

  • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
  • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
  • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
