Marylyn was a delight to work with. From the get-go, she listened and really worked with me to create the right menus for my son's Bar Mitzvah (between the apps, the adults' fare and the kids' fare)...and then she delivered absolutely delicious food, even though she wound up having to work under very adverse circumstances -- the location wouldn't allow her to use the kitchen because the kitchen is glatt kosher, so she had to set up on a 7' x 8' stairwell landing, plus the electricity kept shorting out on her ovens. Nonetheless the food was absolutely delicious -- our guests loved it all and are still remarking on it to me...and then being extra-impressed when I explained what Marylyn and her crew had to deal with. When I first discussed the lack of a kitchen, she told me she could pull it off in a tiny space...and then she really delivered. She also went out of her way to be helpful to me in too many small but meaningful ways to list here. I highly recommend her and her catering company.

I can not describe the quality and service of Sunflowers Catering and Event Planning. Chef Laura and her staff are very organized and personable. From the very first phone call to the last hour of my parents 70th wedding anniversary party the service was beyond our expectations. Sunflowers works with your budget and provides the 5 star service and quality at 3 star prices that they claim to provide. We will use them again no questions asked. I hired Gordon for a dinner party for my wife's birthday. Everything he made for us was delicious. He worked with me to create a menu with some of my wife's favorite foods, suggested some excellent dishes, and even brought extra dishes on the day of the event. Gordon himself is delightful and easy to work with. All of our guests had a great time. We definitely got a great value for the amount of money we spent. Gordon even left our kitchen cleaner than when he arrived. I strongly recommend hiring White Wolf Chef.

The cooking class we asked Mitchell Goran to conduct was a birthday gift to our 10-year old granddaughter, Katherine. "Mitch"is clearly an experienced and competent chef. He knows what he is doing and does it well, answering any questions asked along the way. Ahead of time he asked the right questions about the planned cooking class, checked to verify the supplies that we already had and carefully purchased the others he needed. As the class progressed it became evident that Mitch is not only a fine chef; he is a very good teacher. He was patient and careful teaching Katherine basic skills: how to handle a knife and how to separate the white from the yolk of an egg. He used words to describe the cooking process that she could easily understand. He helped Katherine write down each step in the preparation so that she had a record in her own words. He gave Katherine ample time to practice her newly found skills, even to the point of extending his time with her beyond the contracted time. The smiles, the occasional laughter, and the good meal at the end were clear testimony of a class well conceived and well executed.

We hired Chef Stef to cater our office holiday party (around 9 people). His prices were reasonable. He was prompt and very responsive to any communication. He arrived early to set-up and was very friendly. The food was great! We got chicken marsala, salmon, salads, rice, vegetables and sandwiches. All the food was fresh and delicious. I would recommend his services and will use him again in the future.

We used Adrianne for a party this past weekend and she went over and beyond! From the planning all the way to clean up Adrianne was helpful and very professional. The guest loved her and her cocktails were delicious. She was flexible, arrived early, made sure everyone had a drink at all times, customized as needed, and interacted with guests! We were so happy to have chosen Chef Anne to cater our Mom's 90th Birthday Party. From my first conversation with her to follow up email she was helpful professional and provided first rate service. Chef Anne made recommendations as well as guided me thru selecting Glueten Free etc type dietary concerns. My name is Ms. Lola Nathan, a recently retired Public School Administrator. It gives me great pleasure to write this review for Gwen Robinson. I've known Gwen for over 30 years and our best times have been spent singing and cooking. She specializes in vegetarian, vegan, cooked, and raw foods. We have spent many hours preparing dishes like vegan potato salad, whole wheat dinner rolls, vegetarian meat loaf, roasted veggies, vegan eggplant parmigiana, raw seasoned kale, baked sweet potatoes, vegan burgers, all types of potatoes, every kind of vegetable, fruit, cake, apple crisp and so much more. Our latest collaboration was vegan lentil loaf in which we added organic shredded carrots, organic chopped celery, organic chopped onions, ground flax seed, nutritional yeast, liquid smoke and some seasonings to our organic lentils. It was so delicious that the guests I invited for dinner wanted to take slices of the lentil loaf home for the next day. Juicing is an integral part of our health practices. One of our most healthful combinations is kale, spinach, celery, carrots, and a touch of ginger, all organic! We know it's best to juice our vegetables and eat our fruit. Juiced veggies go straight to our cells giving strength and vitality to our whole body. Fruit we eat raw because this way cleanse our digestive system. Gwen prepares excellent fruit platters! Gwen is busy but she makes time for people like me who care about their health and want great tasting food. It doesn't take us long to do anything. I get all the ingredients, she does the preparing with me. Sometimes I just have her prepare meals for me for special occasions! She gets rave reviews, is easy to work with and is patient with all whom she is instructing. Gwen has taught many of my associates and friends how to make different tasty entrées and treats. She has no problem sharing recipes and keeps some with her. Young and old alike love whatever she prepares. She makes her own dough, from scratch, for fried dough & pizzas! Wonderful!!
