Cannot say enough nice things about this team! Robert and Greg were incredibly helpful in repairing both a damaged interior door and a noisy sliding porch door. Robert went above and beyond our expectations, making several trips to our home to check the type of door we needed repaired, go back and get proper materials, and reinstall the door. After seeing the damaged door that we had and shopping around for comparable replacement doors, Robert offered to have our existing door repaired rather than replacing it (which would be about half the cost). He saved us money AND the door looked brand new! All done within a couple of hours. We had a terrible whistling sound coming from one of our exterior sliding doors. Robert and Greg looked at the doors and found some weather stripping that needs replacement...it is a difficult type of weather stripping to find, and Robert has not stopped looking for it for the last week. In the meantime, he and Greg repaired a different part of the door that has completely eliminated the whistling that has been bothering us for months. They were incredibly pleasant and efficient - they worked around my work schedule without problems and were in and out for this visit in less than half an hour. I will certainly be calling Robert and Greg should we need any other repairs in the future. I highly recommend their services!

Michael responded to my post for sliding door repair within 1 hr. After receiving photos of the door, I received a ballpark estimate which was reasonable. We agreed on an appointment, and he arrived on time prepared to do the work and give me a price after assessing the job. He assessed all components of the sliding door (original - 1986) and replaced only what was necessary. The door is now fulling operational and secure. He is an excellent communicator, very experienced and knowledgeable about his craft. I highly recommend him for sliding door repair. I understand he also does screen enclosure repair.

Unfortunately I have to change my review. One day after installation the front door did not close properly, on top of that it was damaged during installation, also when B was working he did not consider wind and my front door light was broken when the door was open. Also we agreed that he will do finishing touches but eventually I had to hire someone else to patch and fix trim around the door. I texted hime few times he told me he will come back on Monday to fix everything and since that last conversation(2 weeks ago) I haven't heard back from him. Seemed like a nice guy but quality level is poor and obviously not very responsible person.

I finally have a fully functional front door thanks to Sidd at Honey Dew Home Improvement! Funds have been extremely tight for me and I cannot afford to replace the entire door and jamb right now or even this month. All the other handymen that I contacted wanted to replace the entire door and charge me hundreds of dollars and would not even offer to make the repairs that I knew could be made. Sidd understood my situation and came out the same day and fixed my door for $150! He even fixed my gate latch as he was leaving and didn’t charge me a dime. Sidd does excellent, quality work, is honest and won’t overcharge you. I have lots of projects that I’m going to hire him for in the future. I highly recommend Sidd.

I hired Rufus & Sons (Antwan & his dad Rufus) to replace a front door. It was a lot of work as it required removing the old glass door with sidelights and making the opening larger to accommodate a larger double French door. Their initial quote on thumbtack was very low so I had Antwan come take a look at the actual job and work required. We discussed everything in detail and he came up with a more accurate and fair price. It was double what was quoted on thumbtack but more in line what it should be. This was not a simple removal of old door and putting the new one in. I would always suggest having the pro come and look at the job even if they send a quote directly from thumbtack. Antwan & Rufus were very nice and overall I am happy with the install. After the old door was removed Antwan informed me that there was more work required than he had quoted for and the price would be more. Again the complete job did also require some stucco and tile repair. However I would have hoped all of this was taken into consideration before quoting the job as the final price was more than I expected. Again the price was fair and probably what most professionals would have charged. I would hire them again but would make sure there are no extra charges from what was quoted.
