Doc was great. I came in with a list of goals and we worked diligently to achieve them. The fitness complex is excellent, clean and updated. I had 2 months and we set a 4x a week schedule. Doc was responsive to texts if I was going to miss an appointment or arrive late due to traffic. He is very knowledgeable about diet and form. I was surprised to get gains with very little soreness. I was so impressed I had my mother (79) take lessons with he and his wife Daria. She uses a walker and wheelchair and I'm excited and hopeful about her progress. You can beat the value and the experience.
It is very convenient to have lessons online.
She is very nice and easy to talk to. She believes in what she teaches. She is very optimistic and helps me with my confidence. She worked with me at my home. My lessons are 30 minutes but a good thirty minutes. Her quality of work is good.
Asjah is an excellent teacher who understands and is able to create individualized lessons to meet the needs of students. In thoroughly enjoyed my lesson with her!
I am enjoying my language lessons, and already looking forward to the next one!
Good first lessons. Takes time to explain fundamentals and good technique.
Mrs. Justice teaches my 7 year old daughter piano. My daughter loves going to practice and learning. Mrs.Justice is very patient and her lessons are very detailed and kid friendly. All her lessons have started and ended on time. I think it's great that I as a parent have the option to sit in on the lesson and observe. My daughter and I both think Mrs. Justice is awesome!!!!!!
Eric has been my 11 year old daughter's guitar teacher for several years. We can't imagine taking guitar from anyone else. He is laid back, kind, and easy to work with. He's funny and relates both to kids and adults. Eric always tries to find music my daughter enjoys and mixes her lessons up so it never gets mundane. If we need a make up, he's more than accommodating. I cannot sing his praises enough!
Corey has a passion for his work which shows in how he runs his class. He has a knowledge and understanding that goes beyond just knowing the book answers he understands the why behind the questions and explains that to the class with interesting stories. Those stories help the learners to remember the important lessons. Overall, a wonderful experience and I will consider Corey again when I go back for my ACLS.
James has been an amazing piano teacher for my two children, ages 5 and 8. He is very patient and my kids are always excited to see him for their lessons each week.
It's very important to learn to play correctly from the beginning, otherwise you have to spend a lot of time to relearn it!!! Mrs. Olga suggests European school of Music and correct methods of teaching, since today students after a couple years of lessons can't read notes or don't have any school of Music and correct techniques.( Unfortunately, we have had the bad experience before my daughter started to study with Mrs. Olga.) Now we're absolutely pleased with the result. BTW my daughter loves Mrs. Olga and her classes!
I had my first trial lesson and it was great. I’ll be continuing my lessons with them.
I haven't had any singing experience before this but Michael made a soft landing for me to learn how to sing at a nice pace. I've only had two lessons and he has already taught me a handful of techniques that has helped me find my voice.
Ryan is truly the Sherpa that guides you on the journey of inspired learning and appreciation for the guitar, no matter what your starting point. Yes, he most definitely has been to the summit himself as demonstrated by a mastery of many genres, styles, techniques, and a natural improvisation voice, not to mention his gigs and the musician company he keeps. Regardless, he knows the path and is personally and genuinely invested in helping you get where you want to go. I began lessons with him in the summer of 2013 to learn Jazz and musical theory for improvisation. Ryan has demystified the modes and helped me feel comfortable with the notes and patterns up and down the neck. He has a knack for laying out a logical step-wise approach for building a foundation that makes successive concepts more understandable. Lessons are very relaxed and often include an exchange of ideas that run from guitar care, to latest rock or jazz artists, to dumb questions you were always embarrassed to ask about music theory, to how do you see the patterns on the neck, to asking his suggestions on how to improve on an original song, to a variety of ways to practice or think about lesson material, to ..well you get it. Ryan has a depth of knowledge on so many aspects of playing music. He also has an uncanny ability to know where you are in the learning process and laser-like vision and ears as you play. Most often he understands your challenged moments intuitively and can offer a fix on the spot, or a practice suggestion, or a supplemental concept that puts things into perspective. Finally, I admire Ryan for his natural ability to balance the rigors of technique with inspired musical ideas. In short, you will discover that Ryan is the real deal, both personally and as your Sherpa instructor!
Nancy is an excellent piano teacher! Here are a few things I appreciate about her. 1. Nancy gives you space to be creative with your music. At the time, I was trying to learn how to play off lead sheets. She not only encouraged me but also gave many pointers on how to improvise. Her ideas are endless when it comes to creating new patterns and sounds. 2. While I was taking lessons from Nancy I was also in school. There were many weeks when I would not have time to practice, but Nancy was always understanding. When lesson day would arrive and I hadn't practiced, I still felt comfortable going to my lesson. 3. Nancy also has a Christian background which was important to me because I was trying to learn how to play Christian songs off lead sheets. Because she is familiar with all the traditional hymns and praise songs, Nancy was able to give me detailed directions in creating my own patterns and sounds. In all, Nancy is a great, down to earth person and I loved taking lessons from her. Check her out!
My daughters simply loves to sing and she wanted voice lessons for the longest. One day I saw sign and I called the number and I met with Miss Andria the voice coach, she took her time with my daughter she was always professional always on time, and every time my daughter came home from a session she would be super excited about the new technique that she had learned. And she will be dedicated to practicing that technique for the week I absolutely love Riverside voice and piano studio!!! Proud Mom!!! J Marie
I enjoyed the ACT tutoring course because I was given the same about of effort from my tutor, Mrs. Hypolite that I put into the lessons. She helped me increase my composite score 4 points. We set a goal, and focuced on each subject and where I needed to improve it. Our lessons were never rushed and I met each of my sub score goals successfully.
I have been taking lessons from Brock for about a year. One of my students and I actually started together. She is 4 and I'm 34. I was nervous about employing someone to teach an adult and a child. I feel like usually people are good at one or the other. However, Brock does not teach music, he teaches people. He does a wonderful job of making his students feel comfortable and learning them. He adjusts to each individual and teaches the individual, however, they learn. -Britton Pierce
I had one trial tennis lesson with 86 Athletic and it was great. The coach is knowledgeable and i would recommend him to anyone looking for tennis lessons.
If you are serious about speaking Spanish, hire Timothy. He makes learning Spanish fun and gives cultural context to help understand deeper. Our lessons are a blend of disciplined text learning, fun listening and talking in Spanish about life happenings, reading out loud news stories about current and past events. We are only three months in and I’ve aready seen so much progress as evidenced by visiting a Spanish speaking country with my wife last week and being so much more comfortable talking. Timothy has pushed me to hear and think in Spanish rather than to be translating all the time.
