Words cannot even begin to explain how happy we are with DJ Joe Stephen and Standing Ovation DJs. He provided the music, lightening, and special effects for both our cocktail hour and wedding reception on July 14th, 2018. He definitely lives up to all the positive reviews we found on him while doing our research. First, he was willing to meet with us at a day, time, and location that was the most convenient for us, he was both personal and professional from the very first time meeting him, and we felt very comfortable talking about music and ambiance ideas about our wedding with him. He was very familiar with our venue, the InterContinental, and his set up was perfect with lighting that beautifully matched our theme and colors. We didn’t go big on floral arrangements/decorations, and we’re very happy we didn’t, because we feel like Joe provided everything we needed with the lightening. His special effects wowed our guests and made our night very magical without going over the top. His music selection was spot on with what we wanted and described to him. He was also flexible with the last-minute changes we made leading up to the reception. He knows his music, definitely knows how to get a party going, and was attentive and took requests at a drop of a hat throughout the entire event. Our guests had nothing but positive feedback about Joe and felt very entertained all the way to the end of the evening. Finally, his prices were very reasonable, fit perfectly with our budget, and can be tailored to any budget depending on what specific services you’re looking for in your reception. Perfect is the word that keeps coming to mind each time I think about the night, and he was a huge part of making our night very special. I definitely recommend Joe and Standing Ovations; we’re so happy we found him!

Holly is a must hire for all of your decorating needs!! I threw a Murder Mystery Party at our local golf club, and she did an amazing job decorating this venue. Her attention to detail was outstanding, the guests commented on this as well! She communicated with me every step of the way and stayed on budget. Lili Marie Parties was courteous and helpful in providing a face painter for my event. The face painter herself was a huge hit- she painted many faces with a smile on her face the whole time. My wedding took place on August 31, 2018 and it wasn’t until 4 to 5 weeks before my wedding that I decided I needed a day of coordinator. When I read the reviews for Blanchard Spevial Events, they really impressed me. From the first time I spoke with Heidi, she put me at ease. She really took the time to talk to me about what I envisioned for my wedding day and was just so willing to help in any way possible. I had no idea how important that would be until I realized that I hadn’t purchased the flowers and some of the decor that I needed for the wedding venue. This was two days before the wedding and without Heidi‘s help, things just would not have come together the way they did. She worked with the venue decorator to pull together the look that I wanted with items that she had access to. She also managed to keep me calm from the day of the walk-through right through the wedding. I greatly appreciate her patience, knowledge of how the wedding should flow, and outstanding ability to work with people. Choosing to work with her was one the best decisions I made and I am so grateful to Heidi for everything she did to help make my wedding a beautiful success.

Calling All Brides!! - Diana did an amazing job with the floral arrangements, alter design and bridal bouquet for our wedding. She was very responsive to our requests and did an excellent job making style ideas and color concepts come to life. Absolutely stunning work - she is very talented at what she does!! I had a 6 month project where we went from a 2 bedroom one bath bungalow to a 5 bed room 2 bath bungalow. I had someone on site working everyday. Luci kept me updated on all of the issues as well as guided me on decorating the place. Larry and the crew were a joy to work with. We had the normal amount of “surprises” and cost overruns for a project of this size, but Luci and Larry overcame everything that was thrown at them. I can not say enough good things about them.

Lora is seriously a miracle worker! She listened very closely to my wants and needs and then exceeded my expectation. The flowers were beautiful, fresh and perfectly arranged . The blossoms and color were spot on and the pricing was reasonable.She gave me a lot of advices and we ended up with simply elegant flowers which can stay fresh till the end of the evening. From the boutonnières, the bridesmaids bouquets to my beautiful bouquet and the flowers for my centerpieces everything was perfect. Lora is very nice person to work with and so knowledgeable about how to make your vision a reality (and within your budget which is really important)! I came in with some ideas and a price point in mind, and we were able to come up with the perfect combination of flowers and accents to really bring everything together. I highly recommend her! Lora is very professional florist who is passionate about her job and attentive to every small detail!

I had a new condo and no furniture. James was recommended to me by a friend. After a short conversation with him and a visit to the condo the recommendations he came back with were just what I had wanted. He listens carefully, has a creative eye, is easy to work with and honest about his opinions. He understands the temperament of the room and the mood I want to create and finds away to achieve both. When I bought my tiny place in London, I knew he had worked in London before, I asked him if he would go to London to decorate my place from top to bottom. We agreed a budget and he went over for a two week period and did a terrific job. I really love it.

Since she worked at Salvage One, she knew the venue well and knew what would work and what wouldn't. She helped me fine tune the details for the day-of activities and helped set up all my DIY decor. I cannot tell you enough good things about Joan Suzio. I interview several decorators to help me transform my house into a guy's place after having been divorced. Joan really listened and took A LOT of notes. She had a really good method which help me think about things in steps instead of getting overwhelmed. Joan is very considerate about the budget and has given me plenty of options. We worked on the Family Room/Kitchen, Living Room, Master Bedroom, and touched on Office, Hall Bathroom.
