Angie S. says, "Outstanding experience from start to finish. He arrived on time, communicated well, and completed every project exactly as requested. I had several items that required careful placement and attention to detail, including artwork and hardware installation, and everything was completed perfectly. He took the time to verify placement before drilling, worked efficiently, kept the workspace clean, and clearly takes pride in doing quality work. The finished results exceeded my expectations. Reliable, professional, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. Working with G's Masonry has been an excellent experience. My bathroom renovation was completed earlier than expected with great quality and attention to detail. They did a great job leveling my bathroom floor, installing wall and floor tiles, replacing old block windows, running new electrical outlets and lights, and installing all new fixtures. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Valentyn did a great job! We hired him to replace all of our interior doors and bifold doors, re-caulk the bathrooms, and install a new light fixture. He worked quickly, and efficiently. Throughout the project, he was polite and communicative, regularly checking in to ensure everything met our expectations. Any adjustments we requested were handled promptly and without hesitation. We’re very happy with the results!

DZHAMBULAT
DZHAMBULAT
Dzhambulat was exceptional. He showed up (on time) on less than 24 hours’ notice and worked for 13 hours straight to complete an extensive list of projects for us (including everything from installing bathroom fixtures, to spackling/painting, hanging art, and assembling furniture, among other projects). He was extremely professional, polite, and diligent - checking in with us on every project and exercising great judgment throughout the day. His work quality was excellent - he didn’t cut corners or half do anything. He was very diligent. He was a huge help in getting so much done in a single day. We will 100% be using him again and highly highly recommend his services!

He came to my house for several projects and every time he came to the house a project he came to do it was something wrong needed this needed that this wasn’t gonna work. This wasn’t gonna do this wasn’t gonna do that so I found other jobs for him to do because I had to pay him for his time so he put in light fixtures in the bathroom which are two sockets and one light switch and he charged me a two hour fee the next time he came for the closet he didn’t do that so I told him to do the sockets in the kitchen 4 sockets 2 light switch and that job also wasn’t completed. He said I needed a different part ask him to come and paint the bathroom he came. He told me something wrong with the walls in this job he couldn’t paint the bathroom so I asked him to install the toilet again. I had to pay him for his service for coming out toilet it was brand new in the box. He takes the toilet out he put the toilet in and he tell me he can’t complete the toilet because it’s missing a kit again every time he came to my house I paid him for his services and he never completed not one job. Something was always left for the next time. I’ll do that when I come back I’ll do that when I come back and nothing was ever completed waste money and time

Reading from so many five-star reviews made me wonder perhaps my experience was just an outlier. First, let me list all the good. He was punctual, courteous, gentle with the fixtures which was great for old plumbing. Also, he was well trained as a plumber (his skills were reliable). The reason for the three stars was due to the following. While he was very prompt to reply and answer all my questions before he got the job, all my emails went unanswered afterwards. He did not bother to provide an invoice after repeated requests. I suppose there was no such thing as customer support once someone has been paid. In addition, he did not email me the photo of the cartridge he took even though that was taken during those paid hours. It would made things easier since I can just showed the photo to a store to order the cartridge. He came to change cartridges for two shower faucets and replace a bathroom sink faucet. One of the shower faucet cartridge was easily replaced, but the other was unique, so he took the photo and put it back. He changed the bathroom sink shut off valves because he said they were old, but he did not have the time to install the pop up assembly, so I had to place a piece of glue to cover the tiny hole on the faucet. The biggest issue I had was his $75 service fee. Because one of the faucet could not locate a replacement cartridge, he said he would complete it the next time. But when I asked him if I would be charged $75 again for the 2nd visit, he said YES because it was my issue (faucet choice) that he could not purchase a replacement during the same visit. He said $75 covered his traveling cost, but seriously I did not think it took $75 worth of gas to travel to downtown Chicago. Anyway, I decided to find someone else to finish the cartridge replacement. For his visit, he charged $200, which was not exorbitant. However, I was expecting someone with higher standards given his impeccable reputation. I was somewhat disappointed.
