I initially signed up for a personal training package of 7 sessions that went pass very quickly. Mr. Gardner was very patient and willing to work within my physical limitations. With that been said, I signed on for additional training sessions. Checkout his website to see my results and you be the judge of his level of knowledge as a trainer and nutritional coach.

JT is fantastic trainer, I am on my 3rd week of training with him and I am already noticing results. He has designed a completely tailored monthly workout and meal plan. A small background on myself, I am a 23 year old male, with years of physical training from playing hockey. Despite all the prior training, I was amazed at how many exercises, even a simple exercise of benching, that I was not using proper form. JT is extremely detailed oriented and gives you several tips and tricks to isolate specific muscles to maximize each exercise. In addition, he is very friendly and excited to work with you each session, which has really helped keep me motivated while working towards my goals. It has been an great three weeks and I look forward to working with JT for a long time to come.

I started training with Chad in August of 2016 until July of 2017, and let’s just say that it made a difference. A little background about why I decided to get a trainer: I got engaged in July of 2016 and my fiancée and I decided to have our wedding the following year (in July). I noticed that I wasn’t making the best choices for a healthy life (I.e. not exercising enough, bad food choices, not doing strength training, etc). I wanted to look good for my wedding. So I made the decision to change my lifestyle to being a little bit more active and making better choices when it came to food. From the beginning, Chad asked me what my goals were and made sure I was successful in achieving them. His prices are not that bad either and are pretty affordable. After a a couple of months of training with him, my family, friends, fiancé, and including myself noticed how I have lost weight and was a bit more toned. I was happy for the first time in years with my body. Before having a trainer, I would only do cardio. However, after I began training with Chad, he taught me that cardio wasn’t the only thing I should be doing. He taught me strength training with the weights and with my body. I definitely learned a lot a with him. In the beginning it was hard and there were a couple of times I wanted to quit because I wasn’t seeing results right away. However, I kept on going because I knew it would take time. I’m glad I did because I noticed changes in myself. I noticed I had more energy and stregnth. I was sad that I had to stop having Chad as my trainer (I moved down to Florida in August). I have to say that after moving down here, I still incorporate many of the things Chad taught me about stregnth training and cardio into my workouts. If you are looking for a trainer, I would definitely hire Chad!

I was doing high intensity interval training, which caused serious injuries to my knee and shoulder, so I wanted to get back into full body resistance training and cardio. After reading reviews, I chose Dan. It has been a wonderful ride ever since. He's very smart, thoughtful, and incredibly enthusiastic. He spends a great deal of time tracking your numbers so that there is genuine accountability as to the extent of your progress. After I saw the orthopedist about my shoulder and went to physical therapy, Dan took the recommended physical therapy exercises and integrated them directly into my workouts. Very creative; very cool. He's easy to communicate by text or email, and incredibly responsive. He's also very knowledgeable about the Chicago performing arts scene, which I enjoy discussing with him. Bottom line: I'm getting stronger; feeling more fit and confident; and not getting injured. Dan's been great.

I have been working with Shawn for only a few weeks and am already extremely pleased with his training. In a very short period of time, I already feel stronger, leaner, and energized. Shawn's workouts are very specific to each client. It doesn't matter how old you are, your individual athletic background, or what your personal goals are; Shawn will find a workout routine that is effective, personalized, and fun. Shawn is very knowledgeable about nutrition and healthy eating habits. His guidance and expertise have enlightened me to make better dietary choices. He will push you to stay competitive with yourself while simultaneously making sure you are being safe and mindful of what will help your body versus what could be harmful. If you are looking for someone who is going to get you in shape and feeling confident about your body, look no further. With almost 3 decades of experience as a personal trainer he has a lot of knowledge to share with his clients to help them not only look better but adopt a much healthier life style. His coaching has helped me get the gains I wanted and enhance my athletic performance. His workouts are ones he designs himself and are really fun and engaging that promote the functionality of the body. Which basically means his workouts prepare you for movements your body will actually use in real life. Since training with Raven I've learned how to train smarter and eat the right foods for me based on my goals. We have been training with Elijah - Physical Peak – for a little over a year now. My husband and I both have had great results. We love the ease and convince of having him train us in our home, without that we wouldn’t be making the life style changes we both have needed. He has helped coach us on nutrition changes also. About half way through our year we got pregnant and I have been able to continue working with him through my whole pregnancy, my doctor has said I am doing great and my health, blood test, blood pressure etc. has been right on track through my whole pregnancy. We highly recommend Elijah and his services if you’re looking to make a long term lifestyle change and need some help and direction to make those changes! You will see great results following his advice and exercise plans!

I love training with Tricia! She has been training me for about 4 months now and I'm VERY happy with the results. I've lost inches and weight, and I even have toned muscles that I never had before! I've lost weight in the past doing Weight Watchers, but I never did any strength training like this! I can do "REAL" push-ups now instead of having to be on my knees! I feel great and know I would not have pushed myself to get here without Tricia. I would recommend her to anyone!

I never had a personal trainer before, but knew I needed help and motivation to get healthier. Through Thumbtack, I received a quote from John at MOR Athletic. The very next day, over the consultation, we went over the scheduling details, payment and my goals. John was very nice as he answered all of my questions and told me what he could bring to the table as my trainer. We decided on a 3 month trial period since it was a good amount of time to see if this was a good fit for me. Aside from the reasonable pricing, the best part of MOR Athletic is that John comes to me for my sessions. After a long day at work, it's extremely convenient to be trained at home! I would recommend MOR Athletic to those who would like to be healthier at their own pace and for a good cost!

I contacted Jill about hiring an in home personal trainer for my 75 year old mother after she had achilles surgery and was done with physical therapy but still unable to function comfortably in everyday life. My mom has been training with Nicki for a few months (she told me in the beginning she was just going to do "a few sessions") and has improved wonderfully. My mother likes to say she "gave up a cruise" to train with Nicki, but she insists it is totally worth it! My mother is not an easy one to please, and was a hard sell for training in the first place. Kudos to Nicki for winning her over and making a difference!

I started training with Juan about a month ago. He took a consultative approach like a doctor's visit. He asked about my goals, diet plan and workout experience. He also asked about prior injuries to avoid re-injury. The first workout, he identified the course of action to implement. Perhaps his biggest strength is his focus on proper technique. I tend to power through the workout and hold my breathe. Juan takes note of these corrections and identifies them during future workouts. That's impressive! I like how he focuses on weight training, cardio and core.
