I enjoyed working with Chaun P. He was my personal trainer for about 3-4 months, with the goal of weight loss. The sessions included various creative exercises, thus did not get boring and not much equipment was required. He provided gentle motivation and guidance, which was perfect for me. He also offered tips on nutrition and supplements. Meeting at my condo's gym was very convenient and he gladly worked with my hectic and ever-changing schedule. Lastly, his rates were the best; quite reasonable.
Mike has been an amazing trainer. I had a 4 level spinal fusion which left me in more pain than before surgery. I haven't had a life for 3 years since because of the pain. I found Mike who not only has a bazillion fitness certifications but also has a medical degree. Within the first couple months I lost over 10 pounds and reduced the amount of pain medication by half! And the weight loss is without cardio yet because we have to fix my back issues first (he won't sacrifice safety for results which was the one big thing I was looking for) I am amazed. My quality of life has increased significantly and continues to every week. I literally had no hope but Mike really listened to my issues and put together a plan that works. He gave me an assesment with goals and where he believes he can get me with weight loss and pain management and how long it will take. He truly cares about his clients and stresses the fact that he just wants to help. He makes you feel comfortable. No intimidation like with some trainers. He is honestly saving my life. I've tried absolutely everything from physical therapy to chiropractors to a medical device inserted into my spine. His simplistic approach and high motivation is all I ever needed. I only wish I would've found him before I had surgery so I could have avoided the 3 years of my life spent in my house in excruciating pain. But, I've got him now and I look forward to the continued progress I am confident I will have with him as my trainer. I'm finally excited about something and have hope and it's all due to Mike Rundell. I highly recommend him and wish you all great success.
Tania's Boot Camp class is incredible! She never got tired and is extremely fit and encouraging. It is so much fun to attend her class and lose weight at the same time! I recommend her class to everyone! ???
Allen is a great trainer. I've lost tons of weight since I started working out with him, and I'm in much better shape. He knows a lot about diet and nutrition in addition to exercise. He's very comfortable to work with. He's a sincere, hard-working guy. I can't recommend him enough.
I hired Mary as a personal trainer and was very impressed with her style of instruction. She was personable, had great workout routines and always on time. She was very patient with me with just the right amount of push to help me achieve my strength and weight loss goals. She was my running partner as I trained for my first 15k. And trust me that's saying a lot because I do not like to run, but she made it fun! She has been a great help and inspiration!
Pelzfit is the BEST personal Training you can get in the city. I am an avid runner and I was hesitant to use a trainer at first but figured I would try having Eric Pelz help me improve my performance. Eric is an exceptional trainer that always keeps the sessions fun. I have not gained or lost any weight, but I came to him to improve my running form by strengthening my core. He has been able to get me to hold a Plank (on your elbows and toes) for 3:10 minutes from a dismal 45 seconds. My marathon running times have also improved, finally getting into the Boston Marathon after 10 years. Some reasons why he is the BEST personal trainer in Chicago. 1. He is always willing to work with my schedule 2. He travels to you, but also has a gym if you like to switch it up 3. He is very knowledgable about fitness and core sprecifics 4. Eric knows how far to push you, and then just a little further before you want to give up. I will continue to have Eric train me in the future.
Daniel and I met 2-3 times a week for several months to help me lose weight and gain strength and flexibility. It was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend his work to anyone. Daniel was very knowledgeable about the ways each muscle relates to the others. He is careful to make sure stretching is part of the workout to prevent injury. He is conscientious about giving you the full time of your session and is patient and encouraging. I achieved the goals I set out to meet because I feel Daniel customized my workouts to maximize the benefits. I would definitely work with Daniel again if I were to get out of shape and need a tune-up.
I have been weight training for 14 years, I was a 3 sport athlete in high school, and played college football. Jim is by far the most knowledgeable coach I have ever had. I increased my snatch by 25 kg and my clean and jerk by 30 kg in less than a year. Yeah he's good. I miss that bearded Canadian.
Everything about workout to food and other.. No better place to learn about working out and losing weight. 10/10 would recommend.
I have participated in run club, boot camp, and currently in build a better body. I have lost 20lbs while training with Montsho. She is not just a great instructor but a excellent teacher. She has taught me so much about incorporating training and nutrition in order to get the best results. I have had a great experience and have met wonderful people that have been very supportive on this journey.
AWESOME!!!! Prior to training with Keith I had been working out and losing weight for over 10 years. I decided to train with Keith because I had put on 15 extra lbs and was still working out but only seeing minimal results. He was offering boot camp in the park in my subdivision so I joined. It was the BEST thing I could have done. Every training session was different and never boring. Every time I would whine or complain he would just keep telling me ok but keep going. He never let me quit. Even though I had been working out on my own for many years this was the first time I saw definition and felt challenged. At the end of the first 6 week session (which I missed the first 2 weeks of because I was out of town) I was able to pull a car all on my own. That was one of the best things I have ever done and it felt great that I could. You can't go wrong training with Keith!!!
Simply put, Gabori Partee is a fantastic personal trainer. Gabori's overall sharing of fitness knowledge and ability to keep me motivated are just a few of many ways that he shows his dedication to his clients and to fitness in general. Time spent in his one on one sessions and Boot Camp classes just flies by because of the exercise variety-never just "routine". I highly recommend Gabori to anyone in the Chicagoland area that is interested in getting and staying fit. He is hands down the best around!
My Trainer Tony Wuebker is amazing. I've been training with him since 2008. He has seen me at my all time high (which was 400 lbs) and was a HUGE part of my weight loss. He trained me before I had bariatric surgery helping me lose about 75 lbs pre surgery. Thru it all I have lost over 230 lbs. My body is unique in a few ways and Tony accommodated and modified my workouts to adjust to that and still helped me be successful. He holds you accountable and is very supportive. His workouts at Crosskick are like no other. Intense and exciting. No day is ever the same which I absolutely love. From arm day to legs to boxing and Core. To boot camps and days outside flipping tractor tires and swinging ropes. It's the best workout I've ever had. I honestly credit Tony to a lot of my success. Having someone supportive to help with the physical part and teach you the nutrition part is crucial to success. For those looking to train not even for weight loss HE IS YOUR GUY! Nick started off right away focusing on what I wanted to achieve short term and long term. Customizing workouts for me. My goal was to become stronger and lose body fat %. Ended up at 17% body fat, squatting 145 pounds at 5'0! End result; I reached my goal and he constantly emphasizes a healthy lifestyle to sustain the goals I've reached. I still seem him weekly and recommend nick to anyone who wants the challenge to finally see what you want in yourself!
There are many "personal trainers" who are good at what they do and get paid well.....Then there is Greg Walker Sr. Greg is so much MORE than a weight trainer. He is a personal trainer. I had such a great turn around with my weight loss but at that time I needed to drop more than physical weight. And Greg helped me do that. He cates about your overall health and well being. If you need somebody that will be a trainer...then Greg is not the one. But if you need results and mental make over then he is what you need. He is gifted for this!!!

I have always been slender and decently fit but would fatigue quickly with even the slightest amount of physical activity. Not only has Alex helped me achieve my top physical condition but also the best health. Alex helped develop a nutrition/meal plan for me that was effective and most importantly functional. I absolutely love this program! I did booty boot camp with my friends at the trainer was amazing and so convenient! Love that she came to my home! She was so energetic and really had us working! It was so much fun that we all forgot that we were working out! Next time we'll get pictures so we can share!
