I've been taking lessons with Jon for over a month now, and have seen my skill grow considerably. He is a wildly talented musician, and equally talented teacher. He has a deep passion for music, and seeing his students grow. Jon marries theory with practice - so if you're a nerd (like me) you'll enjoy the depths of his musical knowledge. I treasure my lessons, and look forward to many more.
Absolutely amazing in just one session learned more than I have from anyone. Awesome guy and helpful. I can't wait for my next lessons.
Rodrigo is extremely well organized, very knowledgeable, patient, and really wants to help me achieve my goals.
My daughter really enjoys taking her piano and vocal lessons there. The teacher warmed up to her right away and she felt very comfortable and at ease.
I searched Craigslist for instructors in Orange County who teach "Moeller", a specialized method to maximize energy efficiency while drumming. David O and I spoke briefly on the phone about my expectations. I have taken just 5 lessons in total, and so far, my goals have been met or exceeded, including a huge breakthrough on my speed and technique (I'm a technical metal drummer). I can't express how to the point and precise David is. He has learned from some of the best drummers in the business and I feel honored to have the opportunity to work with him and improve my craft. Thank you David!!
He got back to my emails right away and was easy to arrange a time with for lessons
I've been with Davide at guitar Chicago for just over 2 years now. I have absolutely loved my experience thus far. Prior to my first lesson I never knew how to play or even pick up a guitar! Now I'm playing over 2 dozen songs. Davide is always flexible with my scheduling and is always in a great mood.
Matt is an excellent and patient teacher. He is well versed in numerous styles and instruments. Both my children as well as myself take lessons from him. Finding an instructor as knowledgable, versatile, and affordable as Matt would be difficult. I have reservations giving him top marks.
Our 8-year old has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Rum for a little more than two months, and she's learned so much already. Phil and Rum are lovely people. And we really appreciate the affordable rates they offer. Highly recommended!
Yuen has been really great to work with. She is flexible in her scheduling, very patient with my limited abilities in the piano and my occasionally spotty practice regimen, always friendly and cheerful, and, as far as I can tell with my still-limited knowledge base, really knows her stuff. I am definitely improving under her tutelage, and look forward to having my daughter start taking lessons with her when she turns four.
I've been taking lessons with Paul for 2 years now. I started as a beginner and now i feel like an intermediate. I always learn something new every lesson!
Very helpful and a good teacher! I have been studying at home and lack the practice to start speaking. The first lesson was a perfect mix of topics that I knew and Adan was able to push me in areas where I was weak in understanding. Looking forward to future lessons!
Joanna is teaching my 6 year old to play the Violin, she makes the lessons very fun and my daughter is really enjoying her time with Joanna.
I took guitar lessons with Shane for about 3 or so years and it was such a great experience. After trying many other places that gave lessons, the experience that I had with Shane really made it easy, fun, and enjoyable. I learned A TON while still getting to pick the style of music I like. I was able to explore different types of music and different artists that Shane introduced to me, some of which are among my favorites today. Choosing Shane at TriTone music was a great decision that made for a fantastic learning experience for me.
Mr.Al is a wonderful piano teacher. He is patient, accommodating and meets each child where they are at. He brings enthusiasm to the lessons and finds out what "drives" each child to take their knowledge to the next level. Our boys really enjoy working with him and have made amazing progress along the way. We feel so blessed to have the opportunity to work with him for the past 5 years and look forward to many more!
This year, our daughter won first place in the Chicago Chapter National Association of Teachers of Singing (CCNATS)’ High School Division 1 Vocal Competition! At Elizabeth’s suggestion, she also auditioned for the Anima Chorus of Glen Ellyn, and sang a solo with them on WFMT’s Saturday Broadcast of Introductions. Elizabeth is truly an amazing teacher! She explains everything very well and never leaves a question unanswered. Our daughter, Brianna Dulock, has received nothing but compliments from other experienced professionals […] It is impressive how much information Elizabeth can fit into one lesson. Thank you, Elizabeth, for the high quality of your voice lessons, and for giving our daughter this amazing voice.” — Rose Figuero Dulock, Stone Park, IL
Very welcoming fun little spot. Best part of playing music is playing with others so you can't go wrong having both the options of unlimited lessons along with a group to play with and jam.
I really enjoyed taking guitar lessons with Ryan! He took time to really listen to and understand what my goals were and helped me work towards them, which is no small feat for a complete beginner. He explained new concepts in ways I could understand and I felt comfortable asking for clarification. He also gave me a variety of different exercises (chords, scales, picking, strumming, full songs) to keep things interesting and to keep me engaged. I also liked that he added in a little music theory (at my request) so that I knew why I was doing what I was doing. In all Ryan is kind, chill, accommodating, talented, and thoughtful, so I would definitely recommend him as a teacher.
My kids are taking her lessons. She is patient and thoughtful. After all, she is a gifted pianist. We are very happy to work with her.
My 13-year old daughter Anna has been going to Ms Patti's lessons for about 5 years. She was with somebody else and was spinning her wheels. Within about 6 months she was actually progressing nicely. She is a solid intermediate pianist, and has been able to acquit herself pretty well. At her last recital she played "River Flows in You" by Yaruma and that was pretty tough. Ms Patti challenges her and most of the time she meets the challenge and progresses forward. Ms Patti is not easy, but seems to know that each child has different motivations.
Working on my guitar skills with Manny has inspired me so much. I haven been taking lessons for a year and am now even thinking about going to music school!
