My personal experience has been great so far. I am well on my way to achieving my fitness and post-retirement lifestyle goals with the help of my trainer. He pushes me forward in my workouts and offers positive encouragement during our periodic progress reviews. He is always on time and provides a full 60-minute workout, after which I am both physically exhausted and mentally refreshed. If something such as heavy traffic results in him being delayed, he sends text messages so that I can keep my other commitments moving forward. Very reliable, professional and knowledgeable trainer, and an important part of my weekly routine!

Simply fantastic. I cannot say enough great things about Chitown Trainer. I hired Konrad Koczwara of Chitown Trainer to be my personal trainer to help me get back into peak shape via strength training. I wanted to train in the mornings during the week at my gym and without hesitation, he's made it happen. I wanted a meal plan customized for me. He made that happen. I wanted to incorporate my girlfriend into workouts when she's available. He made that happen. Training prices are lower than the average and everything is completely customized to YOUR lifestyle. AWESOMENESS. If I could give 10 stars I would. I've been trying to lose weight for more then a year, but I was not having any success. So I decided to get a personal trainer, and I'm so glad I did. Shawn Smith is an awesome trainer and after each session I feel like I've accomplished something. He's great at motivating and keeping me accountable outside of our training sessions. He has been great to work with, providing good direction and ensuring I understand the correct way to perform exercises so I do not injure myself, while working me hard, without having significant pain the following day. Dan has been training me for the past 8 weeks and since we started working together, I've seen an incredible improvement in my strength, and my figure--this week I was able to fit back into my favorite pair of work pants that I haven't been able to fit in, in a year! When I first met with Dan I hadn't worked out in literally 2 years and was really nervous about all of it; however, Dan devoted an entire session to simply understanding me, the current state of my health, my habits, and helped me define where I wanted to be in my ideal future state. Dan then put together a customized program to ensure we could get there. As a woman, my one of my biggest concern was around "bulking up" from weight training as my body type lends itself to this if I'm not careful. I shared this with Dan and despite what I was sure would happen after the weight training, he's somehow made plan that made me smaller and noticeably toned up, and definitely not bulkier! In parallel, Dan has also really helped me with my poor eating habits--I'm a busy executive with little time to care or prepare food that is consistently healthy--and I sure do love Chicago cuisine. But every visit Dan would casually ask me what I planned to eat for the week and then give me directives on best options, grocery store lists, crackpot recipes, how to store my food, when to prepare it, and even where I can stop on the way home to get what I need for the next day :). . Dan has been a God send and reinvigorated my belief that I can take care of my health, actually meet my fitness goals, and truly enjoy it. I've absolutely loved, enjoyed, and seen results from every single session with Dan. I started training with Dan at HiFi Fitness for straightforward reasons. After 2 sedentary winters in Chicago, I had gained nearly 30 pounds while taking "time off the gym" to start my business. I was the heaviest I'd ever been and, even though I was an athlete by nature, I'd only dropped 10 pounds on my own and knew I needed help reaching my goals. That's when I started working with Dan. From the start, Dan emphasized that we were a team working toward my goals together and that the changes I wanted to see in my body required my commitment beyond the three hours we spent every week together. I like that he leverages technology to regularly measure daily progress. Every exercise is keyed in, and detailed notes for each movement goes into his iPad - and I can see my results behind a secure login website. We're only a few weeks into our regimen, but I already feel stronger, and my pants are starting to feel loose. Working with Dan is not just about making changes to your body though. It's also about learning the discipline of movement and having the mental focus to push past the limits you think you have. Dan is a meticulous technician when it comes to form. He isn't a trainer who will just show up and stand over you counting reps. Every movement is intentional and he'll make sure your form is right. He explains how those small tweaks make all the difference. He understands when to get in your face and when to take a softer approach, and he is as committed as I am in helping me reach my goals.

Andrew got me through some nagging weight loss plateaus and walls when we first started, I had lost over 35 pounds on my own and I was getting frustrated at the constant walls. I signed up for a consultation with him after, and than I quickly signed up for a set of sessions. I'm reasonably sure I've been signed with him for over a year and a half now, and I am very pleased with the progress I get. I had a lot of difficulty even approaching the free-weight section of the gym before him due to insecurities and lack of knowledge of how best to use the weights - having a personal trainer to show me what to do in that area honestly opened a new world for me there. Since then, I feel ten times more comfortable in the gym and knowledgeable about how to use the machines and the free weights to my advantage. He's very personable and while he's obviously not doing this for free, I do feel like he cares enough about what he does to value me as person moreso than just a dollar sign. He asks questions about my diet and routine and how my progress is going, and just does seem to care that you're getting the results you want versus just locking you in a contract and counting the minutes 'till the next session. He keeps everything fresh each routine - we rarely do the same thing twice. Better yet, I find myself incorporating the things we do outside of sessions during my own gym time. He pushes me and I've been able to do things during our sessions (3 sets of 30 second push-ups in a super set for example) that I never thought I'd be able to do before. He knows that I want to be pushed and kicks my ass (although I'm certain that this cannot be the same mindset for his other clients - I've made it clear that I want to get stronger and progress and he has paid attention). If anything could've been better, it was that when I first signed up, he essentially had me at square one when I had made progress on my own pretty well. It was a bit frustrating to begin with, doing lighter things, but once he got a firm grasp on what I was capable of doing, he kept the progression natural and now has and is continuing to up the intensity of workouts. There were also a couple times early on when I felt he may have been making this up as he went along, but I chalk those up to still getting a feel for my strength and fitness level. I won't sign up with anyone else. If a cheaper alternative comes by, I won't sign up with them. He's affordable and knows my strength level and where I'm at, and I feel like anyone that's seriously committed to losing weight and getting fit could benefit from signing with him.

I was never sure that a personal trainer would be right for me. They can be intimidating and I wasn't crazy about intimidating gym equipment and costly gym memberships. But 360 Fit and Andrew have been a life changer for me!! Very very reasonably priced. And He knows the right dose of challenge based on individual fitness level and keeps it so I want to come back!! I look forward to my workouts!!! As a mom of an almost 3 year old and a 4 year old it had been years since I'd worked out and I wanted my health back but I just couldn't get motivated. After one workout with Andrew I felt super challenged but not defeated. And I had felt amazing results in just the first month. I am 3 months in now and have never felt stronger in my life even with past workout plans. After discussing my fitness goals, Elijah explained the general outlines of his plans and expectations. His style is simple and easy. I think most personal trainers are very knowledgable and very good at what they do. Elijah stood apart, however, from other trainers I have worked with in the past. He is particularly commendable because he is personable, genuine and fun. He also made it clear that I had to do my part as recommended by him, such as eating habits. He is also not afraid to talk about finances. I would recommend anybody to at least try a few sessions with him. You will know what I am talking about.

I enjoyed working with Chaun P. He was my personal trainer for about 3-4 months, with the goal of weight loss. The sessions included various creative exercises, thus did not get boring and not much equipment was required. He provided gentle motivation and guidance, which was perfect for me. He also offered tips on nutrition and supplements. Meeting at my condo's gym was very convenient and he gladly worked with my hectic and ever-changing schedule. Mike has been an amazing trainer. I had a 4 level spinal fusion which left me in more pain than before surgery. I haven't had a life for 3 years since because of the pain. I found Mike who not only has a bazillion fitness certifications but also has a medical degree. Within the first couple months I lost over 10 pounds and reduced the amount of pain medication by half! And the weight loss is without cardio yet because we have to fix my back issues first (he won't sacrifice safety for results which was the one big thing I was looking for) I am amazed. My quality of life has increased significantly and continues to every week. I literally had no hope but Mike really listened to my issues and put together a plan that works. He gave me an assesment with goals and where he believes he can get me with weight loss and pain management and how long it will take. He truly cares about his clients and stresses the fact that he just wants to help. He makes you feel comfortable. No intimidation like with some trainers. He is honestly saving my life. I've tried absolutely everything from physical therapy to chiropractors to a medical device inserted into my spine. His simplistic approach and high motivation is all I ever needed. I only wish I would've found him before I had surgery so I could have avoided the 3 years of my life spent in my house in excruciating pain. But, I've got him now and I look forward to the continued progress I am confident I will have with him as my trainer. I'm finally excited about something and have hope and it's all due to Mike Rundell. I highly recommend him and wish you all great success.

Mike is fantastic. He's an excellent trainer—motivational, knowledgeable, and low key. I'm so happy I found him. I was ready to get fit but knew I was far too lazy to do it on my own. He pushes me, but never to the point of possible injury, which does happen with less experienced trainers. More importantly, he's a doctor. He knows how to get you in shape due not only to his fitness expertise, but to his medical training. He won't toss you into some gorilla workout in the first session. Instead, he assesses you physically in terms of posture, body fat percentage, and overall fitness and ability. And then you start from there. I've already lost some weight, (in a pretty short time) and my muscle tone has improved. In addition, as people always say (usually when you don't want to hear it!) exercise is great for you psychologically as well. I always feel good physically and mentally after a session with Mike. The very next day, over the consultation, we went over the scheduling details, payment and my goals. John was very nice as he answered all of my questions and told me what he could bring to the table as my trainer. We decided on a 3 month trial period since it was a good amount of time to see if this was a good fit for me. Aside from the reasonable pricing, the best part of MOR Athletic is that John comes to me for my sessions. After a long day at work, it's extremely convenient to be trained at home! I would recommend MOR Athletic to those who would like to be healthier at their own pace and for a good cost!

Destination Fitness is the best! This is by far the best money I have ever spent! I wasted so much money on health clubs that I never went to. I tried tapes and classes at various clubs and park districts. I never stuck to any plan until I tried Destination Fitness and Jill's team. Jill was so caring and listened to my story. She helped put together a plan and introduced me to her trainer Marty and her Registered Dietitian Melissa. For the first time everything clicked! They did not make me feel like I had to drop and give them 20 push ups. They created fun exercises for me to follow that I actually enjoyed! Melissa the RD was amazing. She listened to me as well and helped me create a menu plan that I could follow on my busy schedule. I have been running for the last 2 years for stress relief and when I finished my Ph.D I decided to look for a personal trainer to teach me new workouts. I met with Tim, and told him that I can't afford a lot of sessions and he did not make it any less difficult. In 5 30 min sessions with Tim I learned a ton of new, fun, and very difficult work outs! He made sure to ask me each time where I was sore, and adjusted my work out accordingly. He made sure I learned proper form for each new technique so that I would not hurt myself. Best of all he answered all my questions no matter how small and always made me feel comfortable to learn something new, even when I looked funny doing it. I have also seen major results in just a few sessions because he works you to your limit! Best decision I could make before moving away. Tim not only is an excellent personal trainer he has a wealth of knowledge about exercise, food and health in general. I am so glad I found Sergio. I have changed so many trainers because I wasn't seeing progress and I wasn't satisfied with them. I have seen great progress in such a small amount of time. Sergio is an amazing trainer and I love the fact that his gym is private. Sergio and his girlfriend Jackie are the nicest people I've met. No matter what they will always greet you with a smile. Often times I get lazy and don't feel like going to the gym but because of these two, I go religiously. I am so very happy with Sergio and Jackie and how amazing they are. I have recommended them to my friends and family. I love coming here and I will continue to come here for years to come. They have gone above and beyond to make sure their clients are comfortable and they have gone above and beyond to make sure they accommodate me keeping my schedule in mind. Whenever I change my schedule, which is often, Sergio is happy to do it without complaining.

I have been going to Surge for about a month now, and I am seeing some serious results! I feel healthier, stronger, and in great shape. Jackie is an amazing personal trainer, listens, and knows when to push. I honestly knew nothing about how to work out properly, and I was a bit intimidated before I went in for my first session. But Sergio and Jackie were so kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming that I felt comfortable right away! I look forward to my workouts, and the rates are really affordable! I cannot recommend this place enough.

The difference between Lindsay and other trainers is that Lindsay does not see you as a dollar sign. She views each of her clients as individuals that want to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, and she knows that she is the key to their success. She will go above and beyond any means to help you understand your body. However the guidance does not just stop at the gym. For example, Lindsay will go with you to the grocery store and show you what foods you should be buying to incorporate into your diet. She will personally check up on you throughout the day to make sure you are staying on track with your eating. With Lindsay you do not only get a trainer, you develop a friend. The best decision you can make for yourself is to hire Lindsay as your personal trainer. I know it was mine.

Lindsay is the best trainer around! She tailors workouts and routines based around your personal goals as well as where she thinks you need improvement. Dakota is a very dedicated and hardworking trainer/coach. In the past month of being his client, he has helped me to refine proper form in my lifts, which has helped me to improve and grow immensely as a powerlifting athlete. Dakota is very personable and caring as well. He accommodates to your schedule and responds in a very timely manner.
