This instructor is great, lots of experience and very knowledgeable. Was also really patient with the fact I'm a beginner and ask a lot of questions.
My eleven year old son, who is new to violin, started lessons with Timothy on the first of January. We drive over an hour for lessons, aND it is worth every minute!!! My son loves classical music theory and history, and Timothy has personalized his lessons to teach this and provide a well rounded experience. He is very current, plays multiple string instruments, and is engaged within the music community. He is the perfect fit for our team!

My name is Zachary Starkiller and I will happily instruct you on how to play guitar and bass guitar. I do trade, barter and cash. My lessons are affordable and I take an easy approach so beginners can develop and understand music and guitar. I can teach any genre and style aside from classical. So, grab, ax and let's get ready to learn how to shred!
I provide guitar training, assisting my students along the path of musical knowledge. I'm more akin to a personal trainer than a traditional "instructor," because I take every case on an individual basis. I let my students determine the direction they want to go. I've been playing guitar for over 10 years and have been in both rock bands and a collegiate jazz ensemble. I can teach most styles, but my specialty is improvisation.
I teach guitar lessons of any kind (electric, acoustic and classical) as well as vocal percussion or beatboxing lessons. I can also give general lessons to anyone wanting to learn the unique language that is music. I am easy to get along with and very patient with clients who may be struggling. I am also in the process of becoming a nationally certified tutor specializing in music theory.
I have been playing guitar for more than 30 years. I have played many types of genre and styles. I enjoy teaching as well as playing. If you want to learn to play guitar, you are talking my language. I teach major and minor chords, key charts, finger-style picking, Nashville number system, tab, strumming, any style and type of music you want to play.
I give beginner to advanced guitar, bass and drum lessons. I travel, and my rates are competitive. I have 20 years of experience.
I take an odd approach to teaching. Instead of learning traditional chords i like to teach bar chords and soloing/scales first. I feel like it creates better dexterity with the fingers. By doing this you can learb songs faster and make it a simplified more enjoyable approach. Trying to teach the traditional way of learning major, minor, diminished chords etc can be frustrating for beginners and not as excoting because they arent learning a song but just practing chords. Lets be honest you picked a guitar up to play songs not atrum the same chord....
I have a Bachelor's in Music (currently working on my Master's in Muncie). I have experienced giving lessons in guitar, piano (beginner's), saxophone, clarinet, and general music theory. I have been playing, writing, and performing music since I was 4 years old so I have plenty of experience to tackle the difficulties with learning music. I also work as a substitute teacher so I have teaching experience with kids of all ages.
My work stands out because I focus on fundamentals instead of style. I want to help my students use their creativity, not stifle it with rigid stylistic limitations.
I have been playing guitar for nearly 10 years now, and I love to teach guitar. I am mainly well versed in metal and blues, but I have a diverse style and can teach anything you want to learn.
I'm looking to book some lessons. I have a band and a decent amount of musical connections to help someone who is learning or just starting out with music.
I have been studying guitar for the last 10 years. I studied guitar through high school and college and one of the reasons I love guitar so much is due to the fact that I have had many great music teachers. These teachers were very passionate and encouraging, and I would do nothing more than to share the joy of music with my students.
