Rich is an excellent trainer! Although I initially trained with him one-on-one for a few sessions at a fitness club, the majority of my training stemmed from participation in his 6 week boot camps. I didn't think he'd be able to work with me because of all the physical limitations I had, but he adjusted the tensity of the training to suit my individual needs. He never once made me feel like it was a chore to work with me - which was very important and impressive to a person like me who think she's "untrainable" - nor did he make me feel like I was less of a participant because I couldn't keep up with the rest of the class. He was extremely patient, very sincere, hardworking and always exhibited a positive and encouraging demeanor - all of the characteristics you'd look for and want in a true and serious personal trainer. Prentis Stokes is awesome with Children. Organize play ground teams to play sports. Job: pick a playground where children are playing and organize them into teams for different sports games. once he got to the playground, he called on two children and started tag, once the other children so this the joined in, before you know it he had all the children playing together, once the neighborhood children so this, they came from their homes to the playground to play also.

Nick clearly communicated my strengths and weaknesses with me, and then appropriately tailored my programming go improve my lifts. For instance my knees naturally bow in and during heavy squats, my right knee rotates internally. He had me perform accessory work to activate those muscles and improve my squats. I couldn't back squat my body weight before and now I can back squat 20lbs. over my body weight. I've improved my snatch by 20lbs, my clean by 15lbs, and my jerk by 15lbs thanks to his programming from January to April this year. In addition, he is an incredibly friendly person and is easy to talk to.
Rick is a great trainer. He's quiet at first but once he gets to know you he is pretty talkative. He is passionate and knowledgeable about his work and is really concerned about the progress of his client. He set up a meal plan with me and checked in with me almost daily at first to make sure I was adherent to the plan. Also, if I had any questions, I could always text him. He pushed me a lot and I needed it. Overall I worked with him about 6 months and had great results!
The knowledgable trainers are what make the difference. Effective and safe (often lacking with other facilities) workouts. Enough variety to keep things interesting. They have what it takes, the rest is up to you!

Two things: The education I provide my clients. Any trainer can have their clients do a squat or a push-up and correct form. But I try to go a little deeper and really help clients learn how to do exercises properly AND effectively, to prevent injury and get the most out of their workout. The training and nutrition plans provided are specific to each individual. While I like to utilize some of the same moves for clients, no one training plan or daily workout is the same. It's all based on your goals and level of fitness.
