We love Ms. Linda. All three of my kids are enjoying their lessons and they are learning a lot!
Marla is an absolute wonderful teacher. She is patient, incredibly talented, and she tailors her teaching style to each individual student. Her teaching style promoted a great learning environment where I felt comfortable, listened to, and greatly encouraged. I have always wanted to learn to play the piano, and I could not have chosen a better teacher to help me achieve this goal! I am beyond happy with the results I’ve seen in just a couple of sessions and I highly recommend Marla’s Music.
I have to have my violin reconditioned, thus we are only getting acquainted.
Ms. Leah is amazing with my 9 year old daughter. She has learned so much in just a few short months of lessons. Ms. Leah makes it very fun and my child looks forward to going every week!
Nicole is great very friendly and always on time. My 7yo daughter really enjoys her lessons with her!
My teaching stands out because I am able to present the basics to a beginner in very easy, understandable language. As a public school teacher, I work with children of various ages, teaching a full range of subjects. In addition, I have the capacity to work with and enrich the more advanced student in the classical genre, particularly with regard to technique and theory. The student will benefit from my vast experience as an accompanist, choir director, performer and public school general music teacher.
I am a very experienced teacher offering piano, violin and cello lessons for students of all ages and backgrounds.
I offer beginning through intermediate piano lessons in my home in Frankfort, Indiana. I have played the piano for 55 years, and I currently play for my church.
Most voice teachers, or vocal coaches do not specialize in genres other than classical, or traditional training. Because of my experience as a professional recording artist, and feature artist , as a singer, and a keyboard player, I specialize in microphone techniques, for both live performance, as well a studio singing. Because I have a vast amount of experience as a session singer, I can prepare any singer for the studio environment. Unless the voice teacher you find has this experience themselves, if you are wanting this sort of training, you will not achieve it in regular traditional, acoustical lessons. Also, my hourly rate is slightly cheaper because I believe I can accomplish more for the client because I can get them singing quicker. I don't waste a lot of time with traditional technique having clients learn songs, but rather I have them learn the same techniques by doing. We learn through imitation, exactly the same way we learn to speak. My clients notice a huge difference in as little as four or five sessions.

I have actively been a part of the Lafayette community -- that is, in the musical department. I participated in Honors Choir and band at Faith Christian School, accompanied soloists for ISSMA as well as for the Bach Chorale Children's summer camp, and have studied privately for over 12 years. I was accepted into the music program at the private University of Indianapolis for music education and enjoyed my time there but am now working towards a management degree at the School of Krannert at Purdue University. Playing piano and singing have always been passions and hobbies of mine, so I would love to try teaching privately again.
I'm teaching guitar, bass and keyboard lessons. I have many years of teaching and professional experience in live performance and studio.
I teach private piano lessons at my studio. I have classically oriented teaching style. I incorporate the students' own interests into the lesson plan I charge 30$ per hour or 15$ per half hour.
For over thirty-five years have taught children, teens and adults PIANO LESSONS. My emphasis has always been to incorporate an understanding of music theory, so that the student understands everything on the written page, and how all aspects of their music fit together. I also give heavy emphasis to their correct grasp of rhythm, note-reading, and harmony.
