Wonderful experience with toilet install and sink repair! Will use again and again!
I had a plumbing issue and I was scared of how much it would cost. My washer was draining into my downstairs toilet. When I found Steve on Thumbtack, it was nice to receive an immediate response via text and on my cell phone. They were on time, professional, and genuine. It made me feel at ease knowing he was there to help me. He fixed my issue and let me know the root of the issue. I will use them in the future!!
Leaking toilet in upstairs in my Lenexa home. He was quick to answer the call for help and arrive on the job. Very pleasant person. Got the job done. Would not hesitate to refer him.
Vern did an awesome job in my kitchen renovation! He installed my faucet, disposal, and dishwasher, hooked up the sink and stove and then handled other issues that came up in my old house...like making the drains run better, fixing a poorly installed water heater pipe from the previous owner, etc. He was professional, knowledgeable and a great guy on top of it. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely use him again! Thanks Vern!
Came out on Sunday to remove and set three new toilets. Did a great and complete job. Good value. Honest price without any extra charges for supplies and parts. Would definitely recommend.
Jim did a great job taking care of my running toilet. He is an honest man who explains everything he needs to do before doing it. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs. It's rare to find such personalized customer service like what Jim gives. Thank you, Jim!
Had Pierpont Plumbing install a toilet. Awesome job. Definitely go for your plumbing needs.
They were prompt in responding to initial inquiry, on time for appt and had our toilet fixed in no time. The price quoted is what was actually charged and am very happy with our experience. Will definitely use them again.
Sean was prompt, and came out within 15 minutes of me placing the bid. Didn't charge me for work that turned out to not be the problem, and got my hot water heater installed within a couple hours.
The complete process was very professional, from the bid to the installation of the new system. The employees wore protective booties to protect our carpet. They cleaned up after themselves and explained everything very thoughtfully. The we not the cheapest bid, they where right in the middle. We selected the company because the first individual that came to our home explained the process and was thorough. The next day he provide a quote not estimate. There were no extra charges. Will recommend.
Kim did everything in is power to get our water heater up and running again from dealing with our warranty to install. Our family would highly recommend his services.
James installed 2 bathroom sink faucets to perfection! Double checked everything ! Same day service and affordable! Thanks James!
We knew going into the purchase, our house would need some work - we just didn't know how much. Solid Ground went above and beyond to make our house a home from cleaning out a sewer pipe, to replacing a plumbing stack, and toilet base to correcting bad DIY plumbing left behind as a "surprise" from the previous owner, Solid Ground has educated us as they guided us through improvement process, with kindness and clarity. I'll work with them again and highly recommend them.
David was able to come remove an old kitchen faucet and install a new one within less than 24 hrs! Only took him about an hour - and he was very competitively and fairly priced. Thanks so much David! Will definitely refer him to other and use him again.
Our heating and cooling system went down over the winter time Bob Hamilton plumbing was kind enough to make a next day installation appointment to come out and replace our entire system because of a senior living in our household and with their sales team experience different options of financing were available ,I would recommend this company to anybody prompt service & excellent personel 👍
He worked with us on our schedule. He worked quickly. And did a professional job with a smile. We really enjoyed working with him. We had him hang 2 TVs and had him come back out to hang tge otger tv and install some trim and microwave. We would defiantly use him again.
Jim put up wainscoting in a tiny little half bath downstairs. The man didn't stop from the time he got here to the time he left! It was like the Tasmanian Devil come to life! He did an amazing job and the bathroom is fabulous! He was on time and finished the whole thing in 4 hours including cleaning up. I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again.
I am extremely impressed with Holderman Construction. I recently hired this company for a project that involved several components, both indoor and exterior components, and I was completely satisifed with the results of every single component. I’ll go into the details in a minute, but among the highlights of working with this company were the excellent communication and feedback, the punctuality, great professionalism, and above all, the incredible attention to detail and high work quality, along with an excellent value - these guys put a lot of labor into my project at more than a fair price. And they were extremely easy to work with. My project lasted 4 days and they were great to interact with every single day, and did quality work every day. They were polite, friendly, and clean. They even removed their shoes, and did an outstanding job with post-project cleanup. The main interior project was bathroom remodeling of cabinets. We had attempted previously to have someone use color stain to re-stain our cabinets and trim, and we just never liked the results. So this project was starting to add up in cost, with a readily we didn’t really like. Ray (the primary/owner) and Aaron (one of his main partners) did an absolutely outstanding job on the bathroom cabinets. They fully sanded all the drawers and doors down so that the previous and original stains/polyurethane were completely removed before applying the color stain again. That was a critical component, because in the end, the color stain ended up looking terrific - even better than I’d hoped it would look. My expectation of how they should look when completed came from the swatches of the particular color I selected (rustic grey) for the color stain I’d purchased. We realized that the previous application of that same stain, we weren’t really seeing the wood come through the stain, but instead the previous (original) stain, becuase it hadn’t been fully removed. In the end, the cabinets and trim looked BETTER than that expectation! Ray and Aaron really hit it out of the park on this one. And when they were done with the sanding and staining, they cleaned up really well from the dust and there was very little lingering chemical smell from the stain. Awesome! I also had them fix some lingering plumbing problems that had frustrated me because a previous contractor was not able to resolve them. Not Holderman Construction - fixed them both for good. The remaining components of my project were wood rot repair and storm door installation. I really loved what they did with both of these tasks. Seems straightforward but there is the materials aspect - which product, wood or vinyl, etc. There was an odd complexity to the back door wood rot that introduced a potential obstacle but Ray and Aaron were able to find a solution and overcome it by finding the right type of wood at the right thickness (original builder apparently chose an unorthodox door and window frame thickness for SOME but not all of my windows and doors). They repaired the wood rot and painted over it and it looks great and is of course no longer rotted. But the real bonus for me was that in the process, Ray managed to correct an incredibly vexing problem with the main back door in front of the storm door - it was not level, and leaking a TON, and I mean a TON of air through the bottom and the sides. I didn’t go into the storm door installation with any expectation of improving the air flow issue for that door, but that’s what I ended up with. An almost complete remediation of that problem. I am absolutely thrilled with the back door now. It closes properly, it’s level, and virtually no air coming in! That’s only been bothering us for 15 years now. On top of that, several other contractors tried, but ultimately failed, to resolve that issue with the door. And come to think of it, at least one if not two previous contractors told me they’d fixed wood rot issues that they really did not fix. Well, they’re fixed now, becuase Holderman Construction fixed them CORRECTLY. Ray is highly attentive to detail, does quality work, at a more than fair price. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. And I can say the same for Aaron, his partner. I really enjoyed working with them, and not only would I hire Holderman Construction again, but I’m sure right now that I WILL hire them again for other projects I have waiting. I highly recommend them.
Engler plumbing installed a new spout and new shower valve and shower head. He performed his work quickly and did a great job. He cleaned up any mess he made and it was like he was never there. I would highly recommend Engler plumbing to do any kind of pluming work that needed done.
Dillard did a great job installing the shower tile in my basement bathroom. He had good communication which is very good quality in contractors.
I was needing a fan motor installed. Allen's Service was able to diagnose the problem and give me option. After going over all the options we had a 22yr old furnace and it didn't make sense to put money into it when it was already past it's life expectancy. I learn the old furnace cost me more to run also. Thank you Allen's Service you were on time, knowledgeable, polite, great service, great price, and you cleaned everything up !!! You guys are great!!! I will definitely use you again.
