Joyce is an excellent teacher and quite skilled. She has great patience and ability to teach the very young and the very old. As a senior, I've come a long way in my piano lesson's due to Joyce's style of teaching which she seems to indivualize. I'm so thankful to be taught by such a professional. I always look forward to my next lesson.

My son has been taking piano lessons with Lenae for the past 5 years and we have been very happy with her. As he is approaching his teenage years, it's been a bit of a struggle to keep him interested but Lenae works hard to keep him engaged. She tries to find music he prefers while keeping him progressing musically. She is very patient and has a gentle manner with my son. Lenae also provides thorough and useful feedback on a regular basis. I would highly recommend Lenae if you are seeking piano lessons for your child or yourself (she has adult students too).

I've only just begun working with Martin, but I think we're off to a great start. I have very little by way of formal instruction, so I have a lot to learn, and I'm glad I've decided to take lessons, even though I'm in my 30s. Martin is very knowledgeable and patient, and his piano is just so lovely.

Jodi has been teaching piano lessons in my home to my three children for over two years and we couldn't be happier. She has an easy way with the children, they have learned a great deal of theory, they play very well and they LOVE to play. I highly recommend Jodi Griffith as a piano teacher.

About

I have been teaching private piano lessons to students for over 25 years, and I am looking to expand my studio as I will be ending my full-time employment in June, 2015. I would like to add more students during school hours, possibly targeting homeschooled children as well as adults. My goal in teaching piano is to instill a love of music of any kind in my students, making the learning experience fun while examining the fundamentals of piano.

About

I have worked with children for 16 years and taught piano privately for about half as long. I teach from a variety of methods, taking elements from the traditional "classical" approach, incorporating the best I know of jazz, soul, blues, country, rock and pop. I teach how to *listen* - and to utilize both aural and reading skills, to be able, with time and practice, to be able to sight-right a piece of music the first time one sees it, and to play "by ear" what music is in one's mind and memory. I teach to understand, and to bring to life one's own music.

As a classically trained soprano, I teach voice lessons to children and young adults who are looking to expand their vocal range and overall strengthen their instrument in a healthy way. In addition to private lessons, I have taught freshman girls’ choir at my local high school, Mini Magic Musical class at the Emilson YMCA, and am currently the drama specialist for the YMCA camp. I also teach acting, beginner's piano, and music theory.

About

I love to see my students getting better but I really love to see them enjoy playing their instrument.

About

I became a piano teacher so that I could help children develop their passion for playing piano. I make the lessons easy and fun, but I also train you that so that you can participate in a recital. I encourage consistent practice so that children learn to do their best and even more than what they expected.

About

I teach piano to beginning and intermediate students. Lessons include ear training, theory and dexterity exercises. Students may also choose to learn jazz or enjoy learning theory from a book. As students progress, they may choose to perform a given piece in a recital setting. The price is actually $35 for 45 minutes. I am a 2010 graduate of MCLA, where I received my bachelor of arts degree, with a concentration in music.
