Latest Review: I sought out personal training because I was overweight, out of shape, & when I went to the gym I had no idea what I was doing. I was worried I wouldn't be able to afford it & also worried that personal training was more suited to athletes or bodybuilders. I posted on this site, & got some responses very quickly. Johnny was one of the first to contact me, & we worked out a plan I could afford which he felt would help me achieve my objectives. In two and a half months I lost nearly thirty pounds with a meal plan Johnny devised, meeting with him once a week, & doing workouts he designs & monitors on my own. I am in better health overall & feel more confident at the gym. I am still working with Johnny & feel my decision to do personal training with him was a wise decision. Johnny has a studio he shares with other trainers, & it's clean & never crowded. He has a lot of knowledge about fitness, health, & exercise. He varies my routines so I'm always learning new things. He works with bodybuilders as well as couch potatoes like myself, & I highly recommend him as a trainer.

Latest Review: Danielle has been especially good at creating a program tailored to my specific needs. I have osteoporosis and previous shoulder injuries and she is well educated in these conditions. Both I and my doctors feel confident training under her supervision and have seen great improvements in my strength and overall health. I find that she is more knowledgeable than gym trainers I've used in the past and I highly recommend her.

Latest Review: I have trained with Ryan for over two years. He is an amazing trainer, very knowledgeable, caring and tough!! In addition Ryan has Doctorate in PT which makes him a very unique trainer who helped me with imbalances in my body. He also helped me stabilize and develope a strong core and overall amazing physique. I always loved to workout but Ryan took my fitness challenge to an entirely new level. His workouts are customized and very unique to my needs and requests. He never does cookie-cutter one fits all type of job. I am challenged every week with new drills and workout plan. I have never been in better shape and it all thanks to Ryan! I would higly recommend Sustained Fitness to anyone who wants to transform their body, get in a great shape and make fitness as part of their lives!

Latest Review: I started training with Billy in Jan 2017 after losing 50 pounds on Weight Watchers. I interviewed other trainers at the time but never found a good fit. Upon meeting Billy for the first time, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and experience about nutrition, strength training, anatomy, and overall fitness. He is an excellent listener and employs routines and strategies that support his client's goals / needs. Little did I know that I would reach my goal weight (lose another 30 lbs for total 80 lb loss), succeed in strength training taking me to new personal records that I never dreamed of (deadlifts, etc...), firm up body and run my very first 5K within 6-7 months of starting to work with Billy. I have had a few injuries (shoulder, back) from extracurricular sports that have required physical therapy. Billy understands PT's approach, is happy to communicate & build plans with them, and then modifies our routine to support PT objectives while continuing to stay on a path supporting strength training and overall fitness. I plan to continue working with New School Fitness / Billy on a regular basis (training for "Tough Mudder" or possibly "Spartan" - can't believe it - so amazing). After such a successful, and fun, first year training with Billy, I am happy to highly recommend "New School Fitness".

Latest Review: Annie / The Strong Girl Guide is empowering, down to earth, and helps me keep on track with my goals. I started the Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle with her in addition to working out and I've seen progress in just a couple of weeks. She has vast expertise on nutrition as well as fitness and is completely science-based, which I appreciate - no fad diets or workout plans here. I've learned so much so far about how food and fitness affects my individual body, metabolism and more.

Latest Review: Nick and I began working together through professional fitness in Woburn. If it weren't for him, I would have likely given up on personal training a long time ago. He is knowledgeable, motivating and has a strong sense of where each individuals limits are. I will happily endorse and train with Nick anytime, and I strongly encourage others to check him out.

Latest Review: If convenience, motivation and progress is what you need (rather than a fancy gym membership you never use), then Slava is your guy. I couldn't recommend him more highly. My wife and I have been training with Slava for about 8 months. As a personal trainer who works out at our house he's the perfect motivator for us. We are busy professional parents who have been active in the past but who lack time and self-motivation -- Slava has got me in better shape than I've been since my twenties. As a parent of young kids himself he understands how busy life can be -- but that doesn't mean he lets you slack off. The workouts are tough, but never too tough. He knows just how much to push you. He also mixes up the routines so they never get boring. I'm just stunned by how much my fitness has improved -- I've dropped a pant size, run a half marathon in my best time in 10 years, massively improved my functional fitness, and feel excited to exercise. He's also very supportive and works with a wide range of clients helping them improve their fitness. He always shows up on time (even at 5.30am), goes above and beyond in being responsive, and works around my schedule when I'm traveling. In summary: an outstanding experience.
