Eleven Courses catered my wedding on 10/24/15, and Melissa Benson and the entire Eleven Courses staff was fantastic from the very beginning of our wedding planning through to the big day. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was, and Eleven Courses did a fabulous job accomodating our vegan guests as well. Melissa was our day-of coordinator, and our wedding was seamless and beautifully organized under her supervision. She and her team also went above and beyond as my family dealt with an unexpected and very serious medical emergency just weeks before the wedding -- the staff of Eleven Courses could not have been more patient, generous and compassionate. I can't recommend them highly enough; they do amazing work, and they're wonderful people.

I hired Michele Palmer to be my day-off wedding coordinator for my 220-person wedding, and I could not be more pleased with the services that Michele and her colleague, Debby, provided! FANTASTIC!!! The wedding day-off coordination service is more that just the "day-off" - Michele came out to the venue and went over details with me a month prior to the wedding, her and Debby attended the rehearsal dinner (and patiently waited for our tardy wedding party), and Michele was quick to answer any questions I had and give me advice in the months leading up to our wedding. During the actual wedding day, Michele and Debby made sure everything went smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Michele was also instrumental in providing me with great advice regarding asking my rental company for an early tent delivery - since it was expected to rain all week prior to our wedding. This ensured that the grass under the tent was relatively dry for our wedding day. I would 100% recommend Michele and her company to any future bride. Trust me, you need the help!!!

I am a bride on a tight budget, so I intended to do all of my wedding planning, but in January I realized I needed someone to help me coordinate on the day of the wedding (May 21, 2017). When I finally found Michelle, she stepped in and helped me get organized. Michelle was right there each step of the way making sure I was on schedule for a worry free wedding day.
We hired Lisa to be our on-site wedding coordinator a month before the big day, and she jumped right in and helped everything run smoothly and efficiently. She worked with the on-site staff to decorate and prepare the venue and she did a great job. Would recommend Lisa to others.

When my now wife and I set out to plan our wedding, we were one of those couples who thought hiring a planner was unnecessary. We had roughly 6 months to pull it off. We fancy ourselves as reasonably intelligent and financially responsible people and we thought that was plenty of time. Fast forward 4 months. The stress began to mount and panic had set in. Our budget is dwindling. We broke down and decided to hire a day-of coordinator. Better late than never, but who do we call? Every one we spoke to was either way too expensive or not the right fit personality wise. Thanks to Thumbtack, we found Vanessa. We are incredibly happy we did and we couldn't have pulled off our awesome wedding without her. Here's just a few of the reasons why: 1) Attitude - She has the PERFECT demeanor for event planning. She kept us on track, but was never pushy. Very personable and easy to talk to. Every time we spoke to her we felt both at ease and motivated to check more off of our list. 2) Creativity - Simply put she has great ideas. Whether it was decor, logistics, floor planning, etc., she listened to our inputs (which weren't always in lockstep - welcome to married life) but put here own spin on things. Our wedding was weeks ago and we still are getting comments on how beautiful everything was. 3) Contacts - Vanessa made great recommendations for vendors, and didn't do so based on any kickbacks or financial gain to herself. In fact, we had one vendor who was somewhat flaky that we had already booked. She was able to line up a "just in case" vendor for us. 4) Organization - Nothing fell through the cracks and she thought of small details we didn't have the capacity to (because we were too busy being crazy pants). 5) Value - She is worth every penny and I would argue she is a bargain for the service she provides. This is especially in comparison to other planners out there. If you need help planning an event, not just a wedding, we highly suggest you reach out to Vanessa @ Little Black Book. Erin planned and cooridnated my bridal shower, engagement dinner, reception, and wedding and everything was flawless! I was a hands off bride as I just had a baby a few months ago so I needed someone who would take the reigns and do everything for me. Erin was the right person for the job and she did not disappoint. I was extremely nervous the day of my wedding and Erin went beyond by having champagne and cupcakes (two of my favorites) delivered to my room and my bridesmaids rooms. She didn't have to do that but she could feel my nervousness. After a while, it was like I was working with my best friend instead of just another party planner. I would highly recommend her to anyone who asks.

Sara was so much more than a typical day of planner! She made sure she was well informed every step of the way! Sara was very quick at answering ALL my questions! Sara helped keep the wedding process as fun and stress free as possible. My husband and I were able to enjoy every minute of our day ( and our days leading up to the wedding) because we knew Sara had everything under control we trusted her completely ! K.Chic Events did our family reunion which was incredible and in the making for a year! KISHA kept all family members abreast to what was going on since a lot of the family lived out of town! Kisha even went out of her way to handle lounging for some of the family. That was a major plus.The food,decorations,DJ was absolutely fabulous!! Kisha even had a few surprises for us (the family) with shirts with every member name on it,celebrating my mothers' birthday, plus my 40th wedding anniversary! Kisha professionalism was incredible! Michelle Farmer helped me plan and coordinate my wedding rehearsal dinner at my home in September 2015. I did not want a typical sit down dinner more like a casual buffet. Michele helped me research costs for food and decorations to stay within my budget. The day of the party she was on site to set everything up and run the party for me.
