I recently started taking guitar lessons with Josh and it's been a great experience. He is flexible with both your learning style and schedule. In the past I have had difficulty finding a good teacher, but I would recommend Josh to anyone, and he's inspired me to start piano as well. Thanks!
I loved the musical teacher she was such a sweetheart it was amazing. Although I would say that it's kinda pricey for singing lessons but oh well that's what happens when you decide to take them.
Scott has been teaching guitar to my 7 years old boy for 5 months. His way of teaching is fun and technical at the same time. After a few weeks my son could already play simple songs and that was a great motivation for him to keep on practicing. Scott is reliable and he really enjoys his work.
We gave my Dad Jazz guitar lessons for Christmas. He is an experienced amateur guitar player who is 51 yr old and wants to take his playing to the next level. He is an engineer that needs to feed his creative side. He said it was the best gift ever! Thanks for all of your help!
Singing lessons, very pleased
I recently signed up for guitar lessons with Robert Gallagher. My goal is to read music and to play my favorite songs. After 3 weeks, I have already learned one of them! He is very encouraging, passionate, and cares about his students. I highly recommend Robert to anyone looking for guitar lessons. He is a wonderful teacher and a great guitarist. Hands down, the best guitar instructor in Michigan. Worth every penny!
My daughter loved her trial lesson for voice. She felt very engaged with Ms. Rebecca. Place is very warm and child friendly.
I've been playing guitar for 40+ years, and my 13 year old daughter now reads music (I don't) and finger picks (I don't) after a couple months with Scott. He's a great teacher.
Mark is teaching my son to play guitar. He is patient with him and very open and flexible when scheduling issues arise. I would recommend him to anyone who asked.
My 12-year-old daughter had been wanting a guitar for a while, so I got her one for her birthday. After a couple days of watching online videos about how to play, she seemed to lose interest. I guess it was too complicated, or boring, for her. I decided to try to find her a teacher, which is how Brian became my daughters guitar teacher. This has turned out to be the best decision. Brians teaching techniques are excellent. He knew right away how to keep my daughter interested in playing, without her getting bored. From the very beginning he started teaching her to play her favorite song. That made a big difference in my daughters motivation to practice. To my great surprise, she started to practice on her own at least one hour every day. Brian integrates guitar playing techniques (which can get boring) with playing songs, both at the same time. I think this is an excellent approach, especially for kids. My daughter now looks forward to every lesson. Communication with Brian is wonderful: he is never late, and if something does come up, he always notifies me well in advance. Lessons normally last 30 minutes, but if Brian sees that my daughter needs a little more time, he always stays longer to make sure that she understood everything in the lesson for that day. Margarita

Firstly, I am incredibly good at sight reading - it is a stereotype that guitarist are poor readers of music! I am also deeply interested and knowledgeable in many kinds of music. I like exploring the connections between genres - like jazz, rock, and classical - in my playing and in my compositions. I offer that openness to all my students, and often burn CDs for them to expose them to new kinds of music.
I offer guitar lessons and basic maintenance (cleaning/polishing, restringing, and minor adjustments) at a reasonable price, on a flexible schedule. I work with beginner to intermediate students only, in their homes or mine!
