I purchased a series of refresher lessons from Allured Music Studio and Jess went above and beyond to deliver a nice gift certificate as the lessons were a birthday gift. My wife has not started her lessons yet, but we are hopeful that Jess' initial steps are indicative of her teaching.

I'm an adult beginner student so if you're like me you have a ton of resources online and no idea where to start. Spencer has his own teaching material that tackles different aspects of drumming. It is more interesting than the standard drumming material recommended by everyone and quickly gets to a challenging level. Once you're at the lesson, he observes you keenly from all sides and quickly points out inefficiencies/awkwardness in your technique. I also like his attention to detail - I requested help with learning the drum part for a song. Although it was new music to him in an unfamiliar language he prepared sheet music for the whole song by the next lesson. Of course, it will be a while before I have the ability to actually play what he wrote but I appreciated it nevertheless. :) Thanks for reading and highly recommend him as a teacher!

Andrew works with me to help improve the support for my voice and improve the quality of my sound. Our lessons are usually at the Christ the King Lutheran Church and last about a half hour. Andrew impresses me with his extensive knowledge of the workings of the voice and how he uses that knowledge to determine exercises that help enhance the sound. In the short amount of time spent with Andrew I feel more knowledgeable about my instrument which, in addition to the exercises, has brought my singing to a higher level than before I started the lessons. The techniques that I have learned from Andrew will stay with me for a lifetime as I continue to learn and improve.

I am currently taking lessons with Austin and it's going very well! He is always on time and very polite. I have no prior experience playing the guitar and he is very patient with me even when it takes me 5 minutes to figure out how to put my fingers. I would highly recommend Pathway Music for guitar lessons!

I took drum lessons weekly from Leon for about two years. He was great! I had a little background in drumming and I wanted to learn some of my favorite songs. He took the time to create music for those songs for me and was always prepared. He figured out what my weak points were and always had great exercises to break through my stuck points.

My daughter has taken vocal lessons from TC Vocal Arts for 2 years. Within a month of starting lessons, she had noticeable vocal growth. Over time she has expanded her range almost a full octave, as well as improving intonation and sight reading. Angela has been very supportive, including attending some of my daughter's other vocal performances and has been easy to work with for scheduling.

David has been a wonderful violin instructor and mentor to our son. David has provided private lessons and summer camp opportunities that have been outstanding. Our son's technique and musicality increased due to David's instruction. Most importantly, our son's love of music has deepened under David's guidance.

I am a woman in my 40s with very little formal vocal training. I sing very part time in a cover band (mostly 80s & 90s rock). I have had weekly half-hour singing lessons with Arlys for the past year. In just the first few months, I experienced a dramatic transformation in my voice and confidence. I have learned how to warm-up my voice, stand and breathe correctly, form vowel sounds to enhance pitch and tone, transition more easily through chest and head voice, and added at least 4 notes to the upper end of my “performance range.” Over time, my skills increased to the point where our lessons focus on "tweaks" to the songs I will be performing. Arlys’ strengths are her knowledge of how anatomy affects the voice, her ability to explain techniques in a variety of ways (so that at least one of them clicks for me), a prodigious sense of humor, flexibility, and a passion for both teaching and her own continuous learning. Arlys is delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone who wishes to sing better, especially shy singers, young people, and those who need to know “why” or “how” something works.

Mike is supportive and professional. He has introduced my daughter to many different types of piano music and helped her continue to love music by teaching to her strengths and not putting unnecessary pressure on her.

Sara has been teaching piano or voice to at least one of our kids for the past 11 years. We feel extremely fortunate to have found Sara, and grateful to have her in our lives this past decade. She has fostered not only an appreciation for music, but a passion for it in our children -- especially our teen aged son. Sara is not only a skilled musician, she has an innate ability to develop a unique relationship with each child. She is able to meet each student wherever they are at. We have four very spirited children with differing temperaments. She has been able to adjust her teaching style to accommodate their needs while remaining firm in her expectations for behavior, practice, and music development. I’m certain our son would have quit music lessons long ago with a different teacher – but with Sara’s patient, flexible, supportive style he has flourished and now wants to become a music teacher himself!

This is my children's third school year attending instrumental music lessons with Dr. Lamb and we are more than satisfied with the quality of Dr. Lamb's instruction. My children are learning how to read music and I can see how proud they are of their learning. Dr. Lamb offers extensive knowledge and is an excellent instructor who wants nothing more than to inspire children to explore their musical abilities.

I can't imagine how much smaller my son's world would be if we had not met Peter O'Gorman. Peter took a shy, introverted boy and taught him poise and self confidence in just a few years. My son, Collin, learned not just how to drum, but how to cooperate, how to give and take, and how to enjoy music. After giving Collin years of drumming lessons, Peter set my son up with a jazz drumming professor and a Jazz drumming ensemble at college. Peter continues to reach out to my son and to work with him when school is out. Thank you, Peter, more than I can say, for changing Collin's world. Barbara May Attorney at Law
