I am the type of person who hasn't ever really worked out. Sure I would walk on a treadmill or get waves of energy to do something here and there. This time, I decided I would need the help of a personal trainer to keep me focused, on task, and push me when I feel like I can't go further. Josh has gone beyond my expectations. I am not going to sit here and say that it is easy. He pushes you but does it with enough ease that you are not scared to come back. Your muscles will be in shock after the non-stop cardio but in the end, your body and mind will thank you. After all, that's why you are looking for a trainer right? It's not suppose to be easy. A trainer is there to give you the results you have always wanted. Josh accomplishes that with flying colors.

Chad is great to work with. He is very flexible with my constantly changing work schedule and never gets irritated with me (that I know of). I've seen much more defined results in my weight loss and strength than with other trainers I have worked with mainly because of how Chad has pushed me. The whole workout is one big superset without breaks and no tears are allowed. If you can't do a workout because of a body limitation, that is one thing that Chad will adapt around, but if the reasons are because of muscle fatigue or strength limitations - Chad will push you right on through it. Your first workouts will kick your butt, but if you remain consistent - Chad will have your reaching your current goals and making new ones in no time. After your workouts, his Herbalife co-workers are more than happy to set you up with a protein shake, a fat burning tea and a shot of aloe. Initially, I didn't want to drop the extra $7, but I quickly found the holes in my diet plan and learned I wasn't getting the results I wanted as quickly as I wanted them. I just made sense to spend the $7, get the boost of protein after my workout and leave with a happy gut. The less I have to worry about hitting my protein goal - the better. This has really helped bring my weight loss and strength training plan together. Chad works with you to develop the best nutrition plan for you goals and helps you achieve them with weekly check-ins and conversations. You won't regret working with Chad!

I have known and worked with Ken as my personal trainer for several years. He is one of the best in the Greater KC area. He cares most about helping his clients achieve their fitness goals in a respectful and motivating way. I have had personal trainers in the past that pushed me in unrealistic pursuit of their own goals. Ken's focus is always on your goal and making sure that you keep up with it. I would highly recommend him for those that are just wanting to start exercising and those that have goals they want to pursue.

I would recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a great trainer! I have worked out with numerous trainers in the past. I found Sarah to be really well trained and thoughtful about the workout she builds. Better than any trainer I've had in the past, Sarah is careful to work you (hard) in ways that both avoid injury or work around a current injury (if you have one). Bonus - she'll write you workout routines for off days, if you wish!

David is excellent. Great work ethics. Keeps me motivated and helped me lose 7 pounds so far. Started working with him in May. He is extremely professional and a fun trainer. I made the right decision to have him as a trainer. My husband and I both train with him. I always had personal trainers in the past but he is one of the best I have had!

I've been training with Brian for almost two months now. Trust me... He is one of the most experienced and committed trainers I've ever seen. He always checking up on the diet and keeps track of myself which is great and I haven't seen that much with the past trainers I've had. He’s a great nutritionist with so much of knowledge. Great diet plans, if you are really motivated to do so. Talking from my experience, I lost over 14 lbs in four weeks. Im really committed and he knows my goals. He knows my limits and how to push myself little more every day. My fitness has increased noticeably. He is very reliable and on time, always set up and ready to start training with an exercise routine planned. He makes it fun and enjoyable to train and he is very motivating and encouraging. He’s a professional trainer and I would have no hesitation in recommending him as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals. Cheers!

When one chooses to find a trainer, one is usually motivated...for the moment. The vision of the muscular, sexy body fades fairly quickly when the dedication wanes and the mornings get early and the chicken breast becomes the last thing you want to eat. So, having a trainer who knows the game, who understands the weaknesses and who can KEEP you motivated, is the key to successful weight loss, body building and erasing that insecurity associated with body image. In the three years I worked with James Hanton, I NEVER lost my motivation, never felt despair and never stopped enjoying every minute of the challenges given to me. I am no pitchman and this is no disguise to the fact that this work out stuff is just that...WORK. However, having someone who keeps it changing, who is always enthused and encouraging and who lives the life is crucial to success. Low fat and low carb is a small price to pay for the gains of endurance, self esteem and fun. I am 56 years old and James has taken me to the best shape of my life. What I like best about Ted Owens is that he is smart, well educated, and funny. I picked Ted nearly a year ago to be part of a “team of experts” I was then assembling to REMAKE myself at age sixty-eight. I had packed on too many pounds, let my joints get stiff because of arthritis, and neglected both diet and exercise for over a decade. For several months I had also suffered a mysterious pain that limited movement in one arm and shoulder—a pain that even my orthopedic surgeon seemed unable to diagnose, let alone to fix. Ted has been very successful in motivating me to move again. We began slowly by repairing and strengthening my too long unchallenged muscles. Because of his multiple degrees and certifications, Ted simply knows more about the human body and how it works than do most folks who call themselves “trainers.” He is constantly able to adjust workouts to meet the needs and limitations of each client, whether that person is twenty or seventy. If one exercise hurts too much, he’s always got another in mind that does not hurt but will accomplish the same end. It took a while, but the pain in my arm went away altogether. Not only that, my knee joints are now both stronger and more flexible than they have been in years. I no longer choose to “sit out” of family activities. In fact, I astounded my grown children last fall by joining them on a three-mile hike into the woods (six miles round trip!!) while vacationing in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Rather than following, I set the pace and led all of the young adults up the trail and then quickly climbed to the top of a waterfall while they were busy playing with my grandchildren in the stream sixty feet below. I wasn’t even winded when we were caught in a sudden thunderstorm and ran most of the way back to our car. Want to feel twenty years younger, a great deal fitter, and much happier with yourself? Jill is great! She doesn't take any crap and won't give you any crap. She coaches you so you truly understand what you're doing with weight training, cardio, and food, instead of just telling you what to do and expecting you to do it. Jill will push you but she keeps your goals realistic and is never harsh or abrasive. I'm a big fan!

Dhruv is dedicated and focused guy. In my 1st meeting with him, I was surprised to see someone who was interested in asking questions about me instead of showing packages and enrolling me for the fitness training. he has a very logical thought process, he understands the pain of 'being out of shape' and provides training in a very practical / custom training routine that helps motivate you to get up and work hard. Constantly pushes the envelope. He enjoys transforming people's priorities around eating and exercise, he believes in healthy living. he enjoys football and I can truly call up on him as a 'friend'. Mike was a GREAT coach! He gave the extra push when I needed it and when I was struggling, knew to pull back. Mike has so much knowledge, not only about training, but also about your body and how it works. He was always willing to talk before or after our session to give stretching tips, eating advice, or any other suggestions! I truly enjoyed my 8 months under Mike's training!

Nicole became my personal trainer right after I had my second baby. She was great! She always mixed it up with new workouts and challenged me so it never got boring or too easy! Nicole also helped me get back onto a healthy eating track after being pregnant. She trained me through my third pregnancy and understood my limitations. I would recommend Nicole to anyone wanting to be strong and healthy!

The best trainer I've ever had!!!!! I recommend her to all ages and even the elderly or sports recovery from injuries...she worked around my work schedule to fit me in perfectly! Ryan, owner of ASKC is an excellent trainer who his very knowledgable about his profession. I really enjoy working out at ASKC because Ryan is dedicated to his profession and he knows exactly how to motivate and push you while giving you the results you are looking for. He is also very creative with his workouts, as he knows many different exercises that can target the area that needs work.
