Working with JR was a great experience, both for my physical health and my mental health. One of the first things he asked me was if I was willing to work hard during the workouts, so I knew right away that he takes what he does seriously. He listened to my goals and habits first, then based on that, he talked to me about eating plans that fit me. He even asks his clients to text him if they have questions, and that's really helpful for someone like me who struggles with the eating part of fitness (so he's received some texts of questionable cereal choices from me). And even though he's training all day, he still replies quickly. I lost 20 pounds and have been able to keep it off. I didn't even think it was possible for my body to look the way it did - it was better than when I was at my thinnest. The workouts are serious, JR will push you, but I'm grateful that he's so personable. I've been around other trainers who are really tough with you and kind of make you feel like you don't belong in the gym. That kind of training doesn't work for me, I would just get discouraged. I need someone who was going to tell me what to do, push me if they know I can do better, and then trust me to do that. That's how it was for me working with JR. I appreciate how flexible he is, he'll actually reach out and encourage you to come to classes, or if a session started late, let you schedule an extra one at no additional charge. I definitely recommend JR and I'm grateful for how much he influenced my overall WELLNESS. After working with him, my stress went down and it helped my self-esteem. His packages and the value you receive are worth it if you're ready to work!
I just started in the beginning of June and already I am accomplishing my goalsâ¦I feel like I have more energy and looking slimmer/more toned. Krisâ approach to reaching my goals includes cardio, strength training and diet. Kris has an excellent understanding of how the human body works and readily shares itâ¦.I like knowing what I am doing and what the benefit is. His personal touch brings a light heartedness to the workout but he is always encouraging you to do your best and to push yourself as much as you can to get the MAXimum benefit. And he is pretty funny too! The Maxfit studio is very clean. And everyone is so friendlyâ¦â¦I do truly look forward to my workouts because the environment is awesome.
With Energy Dynamics, I have seen major results in strength, health, and overall eating habits. Each workout John has me do is fit for my body type and what I am seeking to achieve. Some trainers are out for only the money. He is a dedicated trainer who sincerely cares about his clients’ progress. As a former college athlete and army veteran, I can say John has taught me a lot about the importance of endurance. Lastly, he makes workouts fun—I actually look forward to working out versus dread it. Without hesitation, I recommend John as a trainer!!
GREAT personal trainer! He knows what he is doing but doesn’t make everything too serious, you’ll laugh a lot throughout your sessions. I have only been to training sessions for less than a month but can see (and feel) results. Mason really looks out for the best in his clients.

I have over 15 years in the fitness industry. I have an MS in sports science, and I have worked with all different types of clients, from elite athletes, to the disabled and children.
