Body by Design is the fourth personal trainer that I have worked with, and Joe, Sara and the rest of the team have given me the most effective workout sessions I have ever had. In just a few weeks friends and family began talking about how much weight I had lost and how good I looked. I didnt tell them that it wasnt really weight loss (I didnt tell anyone I was working with a trainer ;-) but that it was weight training that had made me stronger, healthier, and given me a more fit physique. I previously worked with some other trainers for over a year and never got such notice. The most amazing thing though was that, after just about a month of training and strengthening my lower body, my long-standing plantar fasciitis went away. I had previously had physical therapy, orthotics and even injections that did not work. Getting in shape with someone who knows what they are doing can make all the difference, even with lifes aches and pains of aging. Sarah (and all of Joes team at Body by Design) is knowledgeable, competent, and always very professional. Joe is also up to date on the latest research and information in health, medicine and fitness and uses that information to constantly make Body by Design a better place. Any time I ask for further information on other subjects, such as nutrition, he immediately responds and forwards the information. I don't think North Carolina has a more informed, professional, and effective trainer! My workouts at Body by Design are always unique and keep me from plateauing. One of their best skills is in making sure that your body develops muscle in a balanced and efficient way so as to avoid injury in both sports and in everyday life. Randy Fobbs was an amazing trainer. He assisted me with weight loss and dieting. Prior to his service, I did not see such dramatic changes in my body. He helped condition my body and taught me the importance of every workout and a clean diet. One of the phrases I'll never forget is that I was over training and he reminded me " we workout to live, not live to workout" . He was able to look at me at tell me if I had something to eat that I shouldn't have. He taught me how to invest in my health and body. For that, I'm grateful. It look about 2mths for me to see the dramatic change. He helped me meet my fitness goal by June 2014. He went above and beyond to create meal plans for me and always being accessible. He was ALWAYS early, so yes he was on time. The quality of work was amazing. I miss his service. I'm actually emotional writing this. I turned so much working with him, words can't express it I don't believe there's anything he could've done better. He had the right amount of everything to make it a pleasant and quality experience.
Charles is a remarkable personal trainer. I had always been active in the gym but never realized my full potential until I met with Charles. He asked me, "why dont we set our goal for a bodybuilding competition?" I never thought that that would even be feasible but sure enough under his instruction and guidance I ended up placing third at an NGA sponsored bodybuilding event. I continued to compete until I ended up moving to Pennsylvania. I cannot say how much this man has helped me; not only from a fitness aspect but he helped me grow as a person. I enjoyed working with Stedman. I found him encouraging and highly motivating. He would push me to excel at whatever exercises we did and he often was willing to try new things with me. One of the things I enjoyed about working with Stedman was that he never minded me asking questions about what we were doing or why and what it was working. He was confident when I would ask him form related questions and something I found him to excel at was if he didn't know an answer to a question, he would find someone who did know. Joshua is one of the best trainers I know. I came to him when I was almost about to give up with my weightloss journey. I met with Joshua and gave him my goals and he gave me the tools needed to reach these goals. Every sessions was something new.
