Latest Review: I have been taking piano lessons from Julie Guile (Noteworthy Music) for about two years now. I love her teaching style; she covers a more broad perspective of music besides just reading notes on a page. Our lessons are truly an artistic experience which have challenged me to learn genre' that I have never tried before. We also cover a balanced amount of both theory and application. Julie schedules recitals and field trips each quarter. We played Christmas Carols at Regency Mall in December; traveled to South Dakota to tour the National Music Museum in the Spring; and perform recitals in her home, where we get the chance to meet fellow students and their families. I also want to mention that during the first month of lessons, I performed in downtown Omaha for the general public during a "music around town initiative" - Various pianos were placed around the city for all to enjoy. Julie has amazing credentials. The fees are reasonable. Her grand piano is a joy to play. She's truly the best teacher in Omaha.

Latest Review: I have three children who are currently receiving piano instruction from Mr. Ken Soh at his New Bright Future piano studio. During the year and a half that my children have received instruction there, they have made vast improvements in their understanding of music theory, ability to read music, rhythm, and articulation. As a former professional musician myself, I believe that Ken has developed an outstanding method of instrumental instruction that places a proper emphasis on precision and correct technique that will serve his students well as they continue to advance in their abilities.

About: I teach in the students' homes, and do all the shopping for books so that there is no stress for the parent. Students accelerate in their learning much more quickly than in most piano programs several factors such as being in the comfort of their own home and playing on the piano they have practiced on during the week, and the specific program designed for each student, which is tailored to their style of learning. Since I have been teaching for 26 years, I have many excellent area references. I teach all levels and all ages. I am flexible in my scheduling, so if a student is ill or has a conflict, I can usually find a make-up time the same week. I am always on time, and my students have fun working with me. I teach year-round so summer lessons are mandatory, and necessary family vacation times are credited. I love the balance of focused learning and the enjoyment that both the student and I derive from the progress. We use videotape at intervals for repertoire pieces which makes it very fun to see the progress at different time intervals. (Please understand that I do not put any videos of children on the internet. I believe that this could be dangerous. If you are interested in my teaching, my present student's parents would be happy to talk with you.)

Latest Review: Amy is an excellent teacher. My 14 year old son has been taking lessons from her and she is very patient, knowledgeable, and has a relaxed teaching style. She had him reading music in just a couple of weeks and he is inspired to practice as well as go to his lessons. Amy gets 5 stars because there aren't 6. John Lupo Omaha, NE
