Chef Charley prepared a wonderful birthday meal in our kitchen. He came in and took over, setting the table, cooking and serving the courses and left the kitchen clean. Once he arrived we were able to relax and enjoy the evening. The food he prepared was delicious and artfully presented. We had a great experience.
Chris catered a dinner party at my apartment and everything was top notch. He arrived promptly, had enough time to get organized before the guests arrived, and looked very professional. The presentation of the food was as delicious as it tasted. My friend helped organize the menu and every course was more delicious than the next. I look forward to having him caterer more frequently, as well as teach cooking classes. Chris' professionalism and attentiveness was incredible. Thank you again for a wonderful evening!
My private cooking lesson with Erika was amazing! We spoke in advance about what type of meals I normally cook and what I wanted to work on. Erika really was such a pleasure to work with. She focused more on making me comfortable in my own kitchen and using different ingredients rather than harping on knife skills. I was blown away by how great everything turned out - restaurant quality food that I can actually cook again on my own in my kitchen!
I had arranged Francis to cook for a family dinner as a nice gift and everyone was very happy with the whole dinner! They only had positive feedback and they were thrilled to have him. He was on time and professional, not to mention the great 4-course meal. I would highly recommend to anyone as a treat for themselves or as a nice gesture/gift to someone else! My parents wanted to book him again right away for Saturday and unfortunately he was already booked. Thank you for doing such a great job for my family! Highly recommend.

via Melissa, or "Chef Melissa" as we call her, exceeded our expectations! We took her from her usual route of healthy food and asked her to run a cooking class so that children with Celiac Disease could make and enjoy cupcakes on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. She was really flexible and provided what felt and looked like "regular" cupcakes but modified for strict gluten-free compliance and somehow they were a little healthy too! All natural. even organic and dairy-free where possible. The ages of children who attended ranged from 4-12 and she worked really well with everyone! She set up before we (event organizers) arrived and had a friendly helper with her. They were professional but the kids related to them very well. The parents were all pleased and her rate was really reasonable! Our support group doesn't make any money from events like this, parents paid her directly and she was accepting last-minute additions without any worries. I can't think of a single negative - in fact we'd like to work with her again this year! Oh, and she even took the work of finding a location away from us (we're 2 volunteers who run this group for our children and others). Next class, we'll go a little healthier and really take advantage of ALL that via Melissa has to offer our kids! :) Oh, and she's even sending us kid-friendly, healthy and gluten-free recipes for us to share with the families in our group! She really goes above and beyond!
We had the best time! Dianne was so easy to communicate with, she talked me through the whole process of a private lesson. She was always professional, and detailed so I knew what to expect, and could be prepared for the day. ( I'm a beginner, and my boyfriend has more experience cooking. So she worked with both of us and helped us learn according to our skill levels) which I thought was great. I chose a vegan 101 lesson, then selected from a list, different menu options and customized the menu to be perfect for us. 😊 We made a delicious soup, salad with home made dressing, tofu, potatoes and strawberry shortcake on homemade biscuits, with coconut cream!! It was absolutely delicious, and everything I wanted in a private cooking lesson. The next day, I was more confident while in the kitchen. She taught me alot of little tricks that are helpful when prepping and cooking. We're already talking about asking Dianne to come over for meal prep lessons, because she's not just a great chef, but a great teacher and also, really awesome person.
Carolann prepared an Italian style BBQ for 12 people. She performed menu planning, grocery shopping, food prepping, cooking, table setting and cleaning. The menu consisted of an assortment of fresh and nutritious ingredients that ranged from fresh baked bread to refreshing strawberry sorbet. The grilled fish and veggies were cooked to perfection. Her dedication and love for cooking are easily recognizable. Her eye for detail shows creativity and passion, She has an international palette and experience that result in a pleasurable dining experience. There could have been less food, but- it is better to have too much food than not enough. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening for everyone. Carolann can cook for us again and again Lucky us.

I have hired Chef Jackie Newgent to cater a party of mine in the past; everything she made was so fresh and delicious! All dishes were beautifully presented. I finally had time to take a private cooking class from her and was equally impressed. I now know the right way to hold a chef's knife, slice scallions on a bias and "cream" garlic. Cooking with Chef Jackie is a fun experience! I highly recommend both her personal chef work AND her private cooking lessons!

Rae worked full time for my family as a personal cook. Because of her long hours, she had a lot of interaction with my family and me, and we came to know her quite well. We appreciate Rae so much because she values nutrition above all else and strives to make each meal tasty, new, and exciting while being healthy at the same time (although we often enjoyed delicious desserts as well!). We are a family of four, with various tastes and dietary needs. Rae was able to take into consideration all of this and tailor the weeks menu around each family member, including special fasts, dairy-free, vegetarian, fat-free, and always low-calorie options. She also cooked for different holiday parties, some of which were religious with specific requirements. Rae worked independently and proved to have good judgment. She was frugal when shopping, buying not only the appropriate amount, but also conscious of markets with the best value for the best products. Rae was always on time and reliable. Her honestly allowed me to be comfortable having her in my home while were away, home with my children, and using my credit card as necessary. Aside from eating Raes meals, my favorite part of Rae being here was that I never had to make a decision regarding food she did everything from picking the menu to serving it. Rae is extremely passionate about her work and it shows every day. She is a true pleasure to have around.
We had a private party at our home in Mt. Bethal Pennsylvannia. We hired Richard Sutton cause we heard of his remarkable reputation as being a "cut above the rest". The cost was worth every penny. We have had similar high end parties before and only experienced disappointment with other personal chef's and catering companies. I truly believe I struck gold when we found someone that could meet all our needs, listen to exactly what we wanted and could deliver the results. Not only was the food delicious, unique and cooked to perfection he took the time to teach us a couple tricks of the trade along the way. He was professional and left our home clean.
I recently contacted Chef Sanz because I was hosting a private dinner party for some work colleagues. I know nothing about cooking but he came highly recommended from a close friend. As far as concept wise I didn't really bring much to the table but I did tell him a little bit about what I do and don't like. From the little information I gave him he was able to put together this elaborate 6 course meal that literally left everyone at the table speechless. And let me tell you this is a very tough crowd to impress. I can go on and on but the point is he's simply amazing. He was easy to talk to and his talent will marvel you.
My husband hired Gustavo to come and cook for us and another couple coming in from far away we haven't seen in many years. We didn't want to worry about cooking and really wanted to catch up with our friends. Gus had great communication with us before the event ensuring we would be getting everything we wanted. Even though we wanted a very simple meal, Gus made sure to make it extra special for us. It even turned into an impromptu mini cooking class as we all crowded around him asking questions about the food. It was a great experience and will definitely keep him in mind for future events.
Anastasia was extremely patient and an expert teacher. I took one of her cooking classes and learned how to chiffonade in less than 30 seconds! I've never even been able to do that, nor did I even know what it was! She's extremely engaging, understanding and her food is DELICIOUS. I highly recommend her for any party or cooking lesson--she won't disappoint!

We quickly became friends and I decided to take a private cooking lesson with her to learn how to make some classic Indian dishes. She was very professional and sent me over sample menus for me to choose from. I chose her Classic Chicken Curry, Coconut Shrimp Curry, Scratch Made Roti, and Malai Paneer. When I arrived at her cozy apartment, she had everything organized and ingredients measured out to make the lesson go smoothly. She was very pleasant, patient, and thorough with steps of each dish. I had many questions and learned so much about Indian spices, ingredients, and cookware. She was a great instructor and made sure to explain each process throughly. She even helped me learn and work on my knife skills. We enjoyed our amazing and flavorful meal that we just cooked together and talked about her time at CIA and I was impressed with the breadth of her NYC culinary experience. She was so easy-going and fun to be around, I'd recommend Rachel to anyone, from a novice to an expert, who wants to add to their culinary skills.
