I scheduled them same-day to move a large sofa. The home I was moving into had a tight hallway into an even tighter and angled doorway, but they were able to move it very quickly and efficiently. I had a very positive experience with Dumbo Moving and Storage. Two movers arrived right on time to my apartment, where they packed all of my furniture into a van and delivered it to storage 40 minutes away. I was impressed with their attention to detail in wrapping the furniture to ensure safe travel. The pricing was both very competitive and transparent (no hidden fees). My only concern was that the movers were sent to my apartment with a van, rather than the 15’ foot box truck I expressed a need for. Fortunately I had brought several items to storage the day before, but if I hadn’t, it would have certainly required a second trip from the movers. Again, this was not the movers’ fault at all (I attribute it to whomever is responsible for equipping each job) and I was very impressed with their ability to carefully maximize the space they had available. Thank you for all your help!

I feared for my life. My move was scheduled for 8 a.m. (photo for proof). Movers arrived at 10 a.m. Ibra (dispatcher) told me I was wrong until he looked at my contract. No apology offered and attitude/excuses given. Movers were quick getting my belongings onto the truck. They were pleasant and diligent. Because of two hour delay, I risked missing an appointment. So, I began moving boxes, securing the elevator, grabbing hand trucks, etc. Because of this, I didn't have time to go to ATM. Upon completion of my move, Ibra attempted to extort more money out of me. Saying I owed $300 more than I did. Once corrected, he made no concession for his team being two hours late or for helping move boxes to remain on schedule. Not happy, I paid them because I wanted the situation over. The foreman then asked me for their tip. I had no cash and asked if he had CashApp or Venmo. He wanted me to use Zelle. I told him I would transfer money that day but had to run to appointment. That's when things fell apart. One of the movers began curing saying, "B*tch is not going to f*cking pay us!" When I asked the foreman what the issue was, he said "Nothing." But the mover kept talking, walking closer to my car. The mover said, "You should have gone to the bank ahead of time. You knew you were moving." He went on to say that, "This job is hard enough. You didn't even offer us water or anything." Funny thing is I gave the foreman two gallons of water and cups when we left my apartment but he never shared it with his team. As a black woman being yelled at by a white man, I felt beyond uncomfortable. I reported the incident to thumbtack immediately and they did nothing but talk to the owner. CCS moving fired the mover whose name is Rob. And offered me a $50 credit. But nothing else was done. (see emails as proof) Was it one bad apple? Sure. But the crew told me that Rob has a history of doing this. They were the ones who encouraged me to report it because they didn't like working with him. HOWEVER, none of the crew came to my rescue. They sat back and let Rob verbally abuse me and come into my physical space. Find another company. It's not worth the risk.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the moving service I recently received from Rosmilka LLC. From the outset, the service was far below expectations, and I regret choosing this company for my move. First, I was disappointed that the moving team did not reach out to confirm their arrival. I had to call them to ensure they were on their way. Upon calling, Jose, the team member, asked for details about the job, even though I had already provided these in previous communications and had sent a deposit. This lack of coordination and communication set a frustrating tone for the entire move. I began disassembling the furniture myself to avoid further delays. Despite having paid for the disassembly and assembly of furniture. As the team arrived and seemed rushed I noticed they did not have the proper covers to protect the items. The furniture was poorly protected, with only plastic wrap used, leaving me concerned about potential damage, they said everything will be ok. Furthermore, after the move was completed, I was informed that the bed assembly would be delayed because the team needed to rush to another move in Queens. I was promised the assembly of the bed after their job in Queens. Despite reaching out via text, Jose said he will contact me once done and I never received any communication after. To make matters worse, one of my drawers was damaged during the move. Although the company offered compensation for the damage, the overall quality of service remained unacceptable. The combination of poor communication, inadequate protection of my belongings, and incomplete services has left me deeply disappointed. I would not recommend Rosmilka LLC to anyone in need of reliable and professional moving services. The experience was far from the standard I had anticipated, and I sincerely regret trusting the company with my move. I shouldn't have paid them until the job was completed. Live and learn.

I sent videos of the apartment when I decided on a rate with the moving company. I communicated that I needed help assembling and disassembling the larger furniture that’s in the apartment. I told them it was a 1 bedroom apartment and also took off from work to complete the move in the designated time. The company came and said that there was more items than they originally thought (remember I sent videos of my apartment before the move). They said that instead of the flat rate of $400 we decided the move now will take 7 hours at $99. The company did a poor job scoping the job and put the inconvenience on the customer. They left after arriving onsite which is extremely unprofessional. I booked piece of moving company right after for a little bit more money but got the security that I would get professional services. The customer should not be penalized for the company’s inability to properly scope and quote a job. Even if they give you the cheapest rate , don’t book them as they will provide you with unprofessional service. Pay attention to the 1 star reviews and pay a little bit more so you have a peace of mind.
