I have recently gained a lot of weight and found that I couldn't lose the weight alone, so I searched best personal trainers in Albuquerque and came across Justin's profile on Thumbtack. Being female, I was a little reluctant to go with a male trainer,but Justin is very knowledgeable in all areas of nutrition and fitness regardless of your fitness level. Justin has been very patient with me, as I struggle with my part (the nutrition). Justin keeps me motivated and pushes me to work outside my comfort zone. I have already gained lots of muscle and am ready to commit to this lifestyle change. If you are looking for results, look no further, Justin is the only choice.
Miño was an excellent personal trainer. He was fun to work with, never made me feel uncomfortable, completely personalized our sessions based on what I needed. He was great and most importantly he gave me amazing results. I highly recommend Miño.

Ms. Lucille Brasher is my personal trainer since early January, 2016. We meet about three days per week, and my session with her is about one hour long....with a few extra minutes added past the hour for stretching. In this short span of only three months, I can emphatically state I have achieved improved fitness, strength, and flexibility. My first gauge or reference point, besides feeling much better, is my performance on the golf course. Club head speed has improved, and my driving distance off the tees has improved by an avg of 30 to 35 yards. Not bad for a guy like me in my mid-60s age group. Also, my iron shots are improved enough so that I now hit the ball with one less iron number for the distance I need. (E.g., I use a six now, instead of a five to hit 155 to 160 yards). Her quality and professionalism as a trainer and coach is exceptional. She guides me and coaches me to ensure I employ proper technique and pace while I do the routine or exercise. There are no short cuts allowed....and most important, she has slowly but surely ramped up my performance as I improve in my fitness. In other words, she started me slow and easy in the first week, then had me on a program to improve with weights and strength with each passing week. I appreciate the fact she is very careful to ensure I do not hurt or overly strain myself as I perform a routine or exercise. She is encouraging and compliments me as I do a little better than what I did in the previous session. I am confident I can achieve further self improvement as I work with her over the next few months. This experience to achieve improved personal fitness has been the best thing I have done for myself in the last ten years. (BTW, I thank my son Michael who gave me this Christmas gift of a block of sessions which got me started in January.)

I started training with Mr. Bob May in August at about 475 lbs. at the time of this review I way ~375!!! He has been an amazing trainer when I first started to see him I could barely walk around the block now he has me running wind sprints and stairs on a regular basis. Not only is he an amazing trainer in the gym he is also very good at helping and laying out nutritional advice and meals. Bob is also able to design workouts for any level of athletic ability when we started they were very mild and not very straining now they are more taxing and pointed at the areas in which I need help. Bob has also helped me to gain a lot of my mobility back through exercise and movement I have a much wider range of motion and ability then I have had since I was in wresteling in high school. So wether you are a beginner or just getting back in to it or a 6 day a week trainer Bob is the man to see for fitness.
I have worked with Mr. Chavez in firearms training, self defense training, and personal training. He is very knowledgeable in all three. My firearms handling and safety improved dramatically after just the first session. He not only gives you professional instruction while taking the course but he also gives you tips and drills that you can work when you have free time. With his self defense class I feel confident that I can handle any situation I encounter. Finally the personal training in where I have noticed my biggest improvement. With the help of his one on one instruction I am down to 8.9% body fat. Overall his is a great instructor and he tailors each class to each student.
I've known Ian for almost 10 years and have had him write my several weight training programs. He's an excellent trainer and taught me the importance of weight training, especially for women. He wants you to work hard but has an approach that is not too intense. I highly recommend him!
