I started my search looking primarily for location. Obviously I was looking for someone who was in decent shape as well. I ended up getting a email from Jay almost Immediately after submitting my request through a certain website. I was also looking for someone to train myself as well as my boyfriend at the same time which is very difficult for most to accommodate. Jay did not mind us both coming at the same time, he was more concerned with our health and fitness goals, over his busy schedule. When we met with Jay he listened to what we wanted to achieve, so we started with him on 12/1/14 and we have been working out with him for the past 6-7 weeks and couldn't be happier with the workout we get and progress we both are starting to see! I recommend Jay to anyone looking for a personal trainer. FYI I have been to many and none of them care about their clients the way he does! Jay is a great personal trainer. I have always wanted to get into shape and lose weight I tried various things on my own and had very little success. So when I saw an advertisement to work out with Jay I thought I would give it a try. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Jay is a great trainer who takes his time to learn what his clients want and give them the best way to achieve their goals. The best thing about Jay is he makes every client feel like they are number one. You never feel like you're just another client when you work out with Jay. Ok, so I wanted to start building some structure for getting in shape at 55, and I tried previously closer to home in Rochester joining a gym next to my fav bar. One year membership, went to gym,twice. Went online for personal trainer beatdown, or a person that could help me dial in, and saw Anne, so went to meet her. She took me in for assessment, and immediately, I could feel her commitment... So I signed up.... Feeling the burn of excellence in what I wished I could do on my own.... Leave the Work out whimpering, but two days later, I'm ecstatic about the results and look forward to next engagement.. Ashley met me for coffee one afternoon to go over programs, get some insight on my goals, explain what she is all about and what she could do for me. Ashley is extremely knowledgeable, professional and motivating as well as kind and fun to workout with. She gives me a workout plan for each week and nutritional guidance. I've been training with Bob since January 2014 and have no plans to quit. Why would I when I'm seeing positive results?? When I started I was miserable; a mid 40-something gal who was overweight with high blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Since then, we've worked on so many important fitness aspects which I know have made me stronger than I've ever been in my life. Endurance, conditioning, muscle building and strength training - combined with my own effort to eat well has proven successful. I've completed several 5K runs since learning how to lol (note - I've NEVER run before in my life), I'm now off my cholesterol medication and....I've dropped nearly 30lbs and fitting into clothes I haven't worn in 6 years. I have worked with other trainers sporadically over the last few years and Josh is the only trainer I've seen real results with. He designs your workout routine based on how your body responds. While I was out of town I had a temporary trainer and I saw myself losing the progress I made with Josh so he definitely knows what he is doing. He doesn't just have you do a bunch of machines you could do by yourself, he is the real deal with weight training and very educated about correct form. Josh is also really easy going and naturally supportive without all the theatrics so if you are feeling really energetic one day but less talkative another he is very adaptable and comfortable to train with.

I started training with Josh 2 years ago and can happily say that I am in the best shape of my life. I started training just to lose a little weight and get a little more toned, only to learn that getting toned meant that I needed to start building muscle with heavy weight training. He helped debunk so many myths about weight training for women - for example that weight training makes you "bulky". Let me tell you: NO! Weight training with Josh has made me so strong, and my butt and legs have never looked so shapely. Josh is the no-BS expert you want!! I saw Jericho for weight loss, we had a comfortable meeting to discuss terms and pricing, which i found to be exceedingly reasonable. He is super knowledgeable about everything with your body. He is very light hearted and funny but at the same time is serious, and motivates you. He advises you on on every aspect to make you truly get the results that you desire. He provides a diet plan for you and tips that you can do to improve your results. My experience with him has been Priceless because it taught me how to become healthy and stay healthy. He boosts your self esteem and uplifts you so that you can be the best you that you could be. in my brief time with him (i moved far away) i lost 20 pounds (within 2months). No one can get you results better than he can. In my opinion he should be the only one you go to if you live in that area. He also provides other services like body building and training.
