for me, there were several things that were important in this party. The food, obviously! but also the guidance and planning that is a part of a party. We did a casual wedding for 120 ppl at a difficult location, under very challenging conditions. Ellen and her staff were very limited for setup time, so more time would have let her set up all the grand ideas that she had. There were points during the planning where I felt Ellen was more exited about the affair than I was! she was that invested. She worked closely with me, guiding me throughout, ready with ideas, keeping me focused to give me the best value possible while developing a vision! We wanted an elegant and eclectic brunch ,with lots of variety but keeping it to a reasonable price point. I look forward to working with her again, maybe I'll cater Passover this year!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Adrienn and my excellent experience. She not only tailored my gown excellently, but I also purchased another gown from her for a future event. My daughter also found 2 fabulous dresses too. Anyone who needs any alterations, dress design, wedding gowns, bridesmaid dress, etc. You cannot go wrong with Adrienn. Highly recommend!! Great style and fabulous experience.
First and foremost, I want to thank Ana for making my wedding a dream come true!! My husband and I could not be any happier with the results. We found Ana through Thumbtack. At first I was skeptical about hiring a wedding planner through a site that I am not familiar with. I soon contacted Ana and she was very welcoming. She asked me about my ideas of the wedding. What I wanted to include and not include in the wedding. She offered a lot of suggestions. She came up with PowerPoints of every detail and item you can imagine, from the color to the style of the item to the sizing. She is very professional and flexible. Ana met up with my husband and I few times throughout the whole wedding process to discuss about the decor of the venue. We would also have FaceTime meetings as well. She answers our questions and concerns quickly via email. Ana organized and coordinated our whole wedding day itinerary. She attended the wedding rehearsal to make sure everything and everyone knew what was going on. During the day of the wedding, Ana went above and beyond. I highly recommend Ana and her staff!! I would definitely hire her again for future events.
Patrick and his staff hit it outta the park! Patrick and team showed up early, stayed late, and had smiles on their faces the whole time! Before the event we met with Patrick to go through the whole run of show. We also had lots of phone calls to go through specifics as details changed up until the last minute. My fiancé is controlling (to say the least) and hard to please, and she was beyond happy with their work! On the day of the wedding, the team was professional and fast acting. We had SO many moving parts to our wedding and 160 guests! We were really worried about it going smoothly. We were mentally prepared for hiccups, but there were NONE! Everything was easy and smooth and our guests were SO happy! And Patrick stayed cool and calm the whole time. We highly recommend Patrick and Ultimate Affairs for any event! I would use them again in a heartbeat. We are so happy we found Patrick & Ultimate Affairs. Do yourself a favor on contact this guy! Even just talking to him on the phone will put you at ease :)
The Bella Couture Team was outstanding. They took care of every little detail including things we would not have thought of . They absolutely were the reason our special day was so special. They were responsive to every need and concern and were constantly putting our minds at ease when the panic started to set in. Every time we had a concern they immediately addressed it and put our minds at ease. We could not have asked for a better planner for our wedding. They are truly amazing!
Where do i start Melyssa was great. I hired Alchemist Events to plan my wedding in SC 4/7/18. She came down early and was very organized. She gave my girl a schedule and meant business. 1st time ever my girls where ever on time. It rained for the wedding and Melyssa didn't care she told me its blessings from God lets do this lol. I forgot all about the rain and i really enjoyed myself. Everything was on-time and she was very professional. I would highly recommend her
Rica is definitely a professional. I had my hair and makeup trial with her last week and I am confident I am in good hands for my wedding (which is next week!!). Before the trial, I sent her pics and videos of what I was looking for so she was prepared. At the trial, she gave me her expert opinion on what would/would not work and then worked her magic. I'm always a bit weary about having a professional do my makeup because I'm of Asian descent and most non-Asian MUAs don't know how to work with Asian features. I have to say... Rica impressed me! She did some research before the trial and then we worked with each other to get the ideal look for me for the wedding. Rica is also such an honest, trustworthy person. I could tell from reading her reviews and speaking to her via email and on the phone even before we met that she takes pride in what she does and she has experience too. Can't wait to see the final hair and makeup result on my wedding day!! I will post another review after the wedding!
Tina and Erica are angels sent from heaven. They were professional, attentive, basically magicians at times and helped me pull off the wedding of my dreams during one of the toughest times in our lives. My father-in-law passed away from cancer one week before our wedding and ATP stepped right in and caught the ball that we would have dropped. My wedding was perfect and it was all due to ATP Events. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them.
I had such an amazing time planning my wedding reception with Comfort Odubote,she is the absolute best,She's such a sweetheart, she went all out to make me happy, reply to all my texts and calls weather is was 3:30AM in the morning, when i was stress and frustrated she was so clam and all i remember her telling me was don't worry i will take care of it, i honestly couldn't have done it without Comfort Odubote, She made my dream wedding come through and not forgetting the amazing photographer and video guy that Comfort got for my wedding they did an outstanding job, the photographer and video guy stood by my side and didn't give me a chance to complain they were all such nice people, I strongly recommend KC Events, LLC company in a heart beat, words haven't been invented yet to tell you how happy and pleased i am with the way Comfort Odubote planned my wedding, i love you guys continue to shine and make more brides as happy as i am!!!
Without Brittney our wedding would not have happened! Her help as our Day Of Coordinator ensured that every detail of the wedding was handled efficiently and perfectly. Knowing that Brittney was making sure that every vendor knew where to go and how to set our things up made it so much easier for us to focus on getting ready and enjoying our day. Once the wedding was under way she continued to keep everything and everyone running smoothly and made sure that every planned event went off without a hitch. Even though she wasn't acting as our wedding planner, she was always available to help answer any of our questions and offer her advice while we solidified our arrangements in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Her fun and positive attitude was so helpful in keeping us sane as well! I can't overstate enough how integral Brittney was to making our wedding as perfect as it was!
I highly recommend Linda!! She was fantastic and the calligraphy was beautiful. She addressed and assembled about 140 wedding invitations for me. She was super responsive throughout the process and delivered ahead of schedule. She also went to the post office and had the cards hand stamped. I was in between two ink styles and she provided sample pictures and her advice. She provides the same traditional style and service of very high end calligraphers at more reasonable price. I will likely have her also do my place setting cards next. Hire Linda and you will be very happy!!

I cannot say enough great things about Ani! She was the glue that held the morning of my wedding together and my only regret was not having her throughout the duration of my wedding day. Our venue provided a coordinator, but she didn't touch Ani's level. Ani is prompt, professional, organized and so sweet! She is everything you could ask for in wedding planner/coordinator. She made me feel so comfortable and confident everything was going to plan. I, myself am very type A and she could tell I was very concerned about the timeline. She was there every step of the way telling me how much time we had left or that we were "doing good on time". Exactly what I needed to hear. In addition, she kept my now husband and his groomsmen in the loop at a separate location and kept us all fed and hydrated. She was the best friend I'd met twice, but couldn't have done without on my big day. Thank you Ani!

I had to say that working with Vennissa of Scarlett Expressions was awesome, she did a very good work decorating two different location for my wedding both at the park and the indoor reception, everything was so beautiful and she went way beyond her duties, taking care of my guests and making sure everyone was seated properly and everything was set up the way i wanted it. I would strongly recommend her for any of your special events.
Novaoriginal Events was the event designer for my wedding last year. I had seen pictures of her work and decided to trust her with the most important day of my life. From the décor to the flowers to the lighting to the cake, even the dinner menus, it was more than I could have even imagined. She planned every detail which took alot of stress off me! She took my vision and turned it into such a flawless luxury event my family is still raving about it. She was very warm and professional and responsive to what I wanted. So of course I turned to her again to design my baby shower this past July. Again it was a gorgeous 5 star event beyond my expectations. I would recommend her for any event. See my pics below! My fiance and I used Distinctive Visions event Management to take care of our wedding invitations and the service was nothing short of wonderful. I wasn’t entirely sure where I wanted to go with the style for them (we have 6 different colors in the wedding), but Nya was patient and helped lead us in the right direction. I am very happy with the final product, and we didn’t have to do anything except mail them! She worked hard to stay under our budget and was still able to deliver the perfect invitations. I will definitely use Distinctive Visions again in the future for more than just invitations.
Lacy was amazing. She was great to work with and was on top of the small details that make a wedding run smoothly. We had a perfect wedding and she was a big part of that!
I'm not even sure how to begin with this review - all I can say is that Michelle is absolutely the best. She *made* my wedding day. She was on top of every single little detail that I would have never thought of. She was in touch with all the vendors leading up to the big day, and helped manage all of the chaos on the day of. Michelle is incredibly organized, thoughtful, and a pleasure to work with. She had an assistant, Sarah, with her on the day of and between the two of them it felt like they were moving mountains to make sure everything went smoothly. Having to manage a Nigerian wedding is no easy task, but they were absolute champs. I am incredibly grateful for everything they did for us. I remember when I started wedding planning a friend told me that having a DOC was a non-negotiable and she was totally right. Working with Michelle was the best decision I made in terms of my wedding. I also got a great deal on my limo with her (her dad owns Action Limo!) and they are an awesome pair to work with. I recommend her enthusiastically!!!
I was a former patron of the original Cornbread & Caviar restaurant. The Aviance was outstanding & the food was even better. It sincerely broke my heart when they shut their doors. However my disappointed was short lived when I found out they had formed a catering service. Chef Carlton and his staff have since catered my sister pre wedding party to high aclaim. Since then his oxtails have been a staple at my family's thanksgiving celebrations. I was plesently surprised with his lasagna dish just this past Christmas. They even bake! Most important is their consistency. I've never had a bad experience. A very good and diverse menu. 5 star rating!
